BooptotheFloof · 07/02/2026 22:38

Evening all!

I thought we should start a new thread as we are getting close to full on thread two

I weighed myself this morning and I have now lost the weight of a Kitchenaid mixer!

What kitchen appliance / Household item have you lost!?

SW 13 stone 9
6 x 2.5 MJ doses later …..
CW 12 stone 2
Loss 21lbs!!!

I am mid way through week 2 on my second pen and stuck with 2.5 - although am tempted to go up as my suppression is nowhere near the same as it was

I am being tempted and my willpower is waining

Send Help!

I’m now at my ‘starting’ weight of when i did CWP many years ago

When i got down to my goal of 9 stone 7 last time i promised myself I would never hit 12 stone 2 ever again … and here i am utterly thrilled that i have managed to get DOWN to it!!!

How can you tell how much you’ve lost in object form. I’m intrigued.

whiteandblackfluffycat · 07/02/2026 23:09

Thanks for the new thread @BooptotheFloof

I just google it, @bookwormcrazy
I think some might use ChatGPT but I don’t have that and just ask standard google.

21lb loss here so far which is a microwave!

My stats:
5’6”
SW: 14.5
CW: 12.12st
Total weight loss: 1 stone 7 lb (21lbs)
GW: 10 st (for now!)
Have been struggling with peri/ HRT weight gain

(slight nc but it’s still me!)

bookwormcrazy · 07/02/2026 23:16

So my 13lb loss equates to an air fryer!

BooptotheFloof · 07/02/2026 23:17

@whiteandblackfluffycat we seem to have been on almost exactly the same weightloss through the last 6 weeks - congratulations on your ice dispenser!

I’ve changed my HRT a little as discussed in the earlier thread but I am feeling really really down this weekend - it’s making me worry that the MJ is affecting my HRT meds

I’ve got no enthusiasm for anything and apart from a dog walk this morning I’ve sat on my arse all day doom scrolling

Of course it might be lack of calories which mean I have less energy which is making me less motivated, also I think as the weightloss slows down everything just feels a little bit bleaker

I might up my dose next week and do two doses of 2.5 in split doses during the week and see if it makes a difference and then get a 5 for the following week

Has anyone else done this and to what effect

hereismydog · 07/02/2026 23:26

Thanks for the new thread Smile

I’ve had a good week, smashed my protein target every day and never gone over my calories. Weigh-in and next dose tomorrow, thank god. Is anyone else finding the suppression tapers off towards the end of the week? I’m lying in bed bloody starving, haven’t felt hungry this whole time but I feel like I could eat a scabby horse!

whiteandblackfluffycat · 07/02/2026 23:48

Thanks @BooptotheFloof , I changed it to microwave after looking again as I thought who on earth has a countertop ice dispenser in the UK!? 😂

Sorry to hear you’ve been feeling down, am I right in thinking that you increased oral progesterone? Utrogestan/ oral progesterone can cause those side effects so it might be worth speaking to your GP and trying another type.

I’m glad I changed to patches as I’m no longer getting the side effects that I was getting with Utrogestan. After the initial panic about having to change I’ve got into a good routine and I’m actually finding them easier than the gel/ tablets, so will stick to them when I come off MJ. I initially had some aches which is common, but they’ve disappeared thankfully.

if no one minds, I’m just reposting my message of yesterday here as it got lost on the end of last thread.

A new joiner here but have been reading along for ages
W4D2
SW: 14st 11lb
CW: 14st 2lb
GW: 11st 7lb
Loss so far: 9lb
I wondered if anyone had considered split dosing. I’ve watched a couple of YouTube videos on it. I’m doing ok at the moment but I do seem to have less suppression for the last couple of weeks and thought it might help to spread the load.
Also, I’m just finishing off my 2.5mg pen and have ordered 5mg for my next but I wondered about going up to 3.75mg by using the click method.
Anyone tried either of these?

WhoInvitedHer · 08/02/2026 05:55

Joining the new thread. Planning on starting Wegovey on Friday when I’m back from my holiday. Bit worried about weighing myself on my return incase my weight is even heavier but whatever things are going to change.

I am trying to stay on the smallest possible dose and take 1.25 (30 clicks of 2.5 pen) every 5 days.

I’ve lost 5.5lbs in 3 weeks and have moments where I wrestle (with mixed success) with urges. But the food noise is gone. I eat smaller meals. I stick to my calories and macro targets mostly easily - the urges are around context not hunger.

It definitely works for me. I am open to taking more as I need it.

Welcome @NewPantsforaNewYear !

I’m also interested in people’s experiences of split dosing or click counting. I’ve been one of the unlucky ones and have had bad side effects on 2.5 MJ. I’m gutted as the first two weeks were amazing! But weeks 3-5 I had increasingly bad diarrhoea, nausea and vomiting to the point where I was having to take days off work and I just can’t keep going like that. Also I felt awful!

My provider (unsurprisingly) wouldn’t approve any usage which wasn’t standard, so I’ve cancelled my membership. But I have a pen with three unused doses in it, and am wondering about either split dosing (taking two half doses spread across the week to avoid the rush of side effects a couple of days after the jab), or just taking half doses (1.25mg a week) so that I might get some mini suppression effect without the side effects - micro dosing I guess. Very interested in others experience of this!

ooh interesting @SucculentWindowLedge . Can you explain a bit more about how you do It? Does the pen work for more than four doses if you count clicks, or do you have to use insulin needles and extract it? And are you using it beyond 30 days or buying more pens?

SucculentWindowLedge · 08/02/2026 07:49

@Blandpedant the pen works for more than 4 doses. I purchased spare needles. I have made peace that this is not the best value-per-dose.

I am only 3 weeks in. I started this way because I was always finding a reason to delay because of side effects: work, travel, etc. I kept at it because I did feel mild side effects with 1.25 and it works well for me.

I do track calories and macros, and I can still overeat. I can also work from home all day and ignore the tray of brownies - so sticking to my calories is much easier than it ever has been.

The monthly cost of the pen is still lower than I have spent on previous diet strategies so I don’t mind too much if I throw some away.

I am a bit jealous of everyone losing faster, but this is a better strategy for me right now.

notcomfortable · 08/02/2026 08:41

I posted on the other thread but this one looks more active now
I lost another kg over night but that doesn't surprise me as I don't have it in me to eat right now
So in a week i have lost 2kg. Which is becoming too fast for me so I need to do better

bookwormcrazy · 08/02/2026 09:12

After a relatively easy ride with side effects so far, it seems to have caught up with me after moving to 5mg yesterday. I have been sick this morning but I don’t feel sick which is strange.

I feel absolutely fine, I always have a bit of a blocked throat/ nose in the morning due to long term acid reflux and sleep apnea but usually after a drink it clears. However this morning I couldn’t clear it and ended up throwing up. I can only assume it’s related to the fact I have moved up to the 5mg pen.

Etherealcelestialbeing · 08/02/2026 09:28

Well my week 1 side effects have returned in week 4 with a bang! I have awful diarrhoea, stomach cramps, nausea. I went to the loo in the middle of the night and fainted! Woke up on the bathroom floor with a bruised cheek and bust lip. Thankfully my husband heard me calling and rescued me.

I don’t know what to do about my next dose now. It will be either golden dose of 2.5mg or the first dose of 5mg pen next Friday. I can’t spend any more time in bed - I have young kids and a job 😔

Would appreciate any advice from anyone that has experience with counting clicks/microdosing.

@blandpedantsorry to hear you’re experiencing similar - have you taken any medication to help? Imodium etc? I’m not sure how effective pain killers are being for me - I’m wondering if they’re just passing straight through or if I’m just in a lot of pain with the stomach cramps.

Perianth · 08/02/2026 09:29

Weigh in day for me. End of week 4.

SW: 16st 8.2
CW: 15st 7.2
Total loss: 1st 1.4

Another 3.4lbs this week.

I took my golden dose today, and got 0.7ml from the pen, so slightly more than the 0.6ml standard dose.

A quick google tells me my total loss is the equivalent to a small suitcase packed for a weekend getaway!

hereismydog · 08/02/2026 09:30

W3D1, lost 3lb this week. I know it’s still a loss but I’m a little disappointed as I’m still quite early on 😅 I did have my period though, so perhaps I shouldn’t be too surprised! I can see that my face looks less chubby already though.

YellowStockings · 08/02/2026 09:34

Marking place in the new thread!

SW (on 3rd January) 111.05 kg
CW 104.5 kg
Total loss: 6.55 kg

Still on 0.25 but now jabbing every 5 days. Need to decide if I'm going to go up to 0.5 for my third pen or keep this up. I want to lose slowly and sustainably, rather than rely on the WG to keep me artificially suppressed - but I'd also love to lose a bit more over the next month.

ThisAmusedPoet · 08/02/2026 09:35

Wow! So I am back from my 2 weeks in the US and weighed myself… I’m down 2 more kg! That’s despite really not feeling like I deprived myself as the food I had access to was not nearly as healthy and lots of meals out. (Burgers, steak, fried chicken). I was better at not eating the heavy sides or too many snacks and did a tonne of walking. But I was certain I had just maintained so I am thrilled.

I did go up to 5mg while away as well.

SW 1/1/26 - 93.3kg
MJ1 7/1/26 - 90.3 kg -3kg
MJ2 14/1/26 - 87.5kg -2.8kg
MJ3 21/1/26 - 86.5kg -1kg
MJ4 28/1/26 - no scales
MJ 5 (5mg) 5/2/26 - no scales
8/2/26 - 84.45kg -2kg

GW - 68kg
Total loss: -8.8kg

Blandpedant · 08/02/2026 09:36

@Etherealcelestialbeinggod I’m so sorry! The fainting sounds awful. Hope you are ok.

My provider did provide cyclizine for nausea and loperamide for diarrhoea. The cyclizine didn’t help as I just brought it straight up (sorry tmi). The loperamide did help. But ultimately I don’t want to be feeling like that, so after 3 weeks I decided no more full doses for me! I’m going to give myself a week off, and then maybe try counting clicks to get a 1.25 dose next week.

If I need to stop altogether I’m at peace with that. I’m a stone down which is great. And it has also taught me just how few calories I should be eating to lose (or even maintain!). So hoping I can keep up the good habits…

Lillipops · 08/02/2026 09:39

Wow I’ve lost the equivalent to a washing machine! 84lbs 🤩

CatNoBag · 08/02/2026 09:40

Hello everyone again!

I’ve just had the biggest breakfast I’ve had all month, but am attempting a very long run today so it’s needed! I think suppression is slightly reduced for me because I wouldn’t have been able to eat it all two weeks ago, but just felt the last two or three mouthfuls were being force fed into me today 😆

I’m jabbing tomorrow, deliberately chose Monday because Sunday is my long run day so I need to be able to eat enough to get me round. I had a sneak peek on the scales yesterday and have lost, but a bit less than previous weeks, but still a loss and I need to learn not to be discouraged and remind myself that slow and steady is better for me (although when I think how many months I have still go living like a puritan I do despair a little!). I have another ~45lbs to go to goal weight, it’s a slog, but I’m feeling more hopeful about it than I have for a long time.

Hotfirewood · 08/02/2026 10:01

Jab 7 this morning (3rd of 5mg). Only down 0.5kg.

SW 81kg
CW 74.5kg
GW 60kg

Hoping for a better week. Had a few moments of nausea, otherwise no side effects. Need to do better with protein this week!!
