Feel free to lurk or post, absolutely no judgement here, just support and encouragement as we hurtle towards Christmas proudly wearing Crimbo jumpers without fear of looking enormous, look for slinky party dresses on vinted and for the first time, willingly take part in ALL of the festive photos🥰

Join us here to celebrate NSV’s, weight loss milestones, maintenance and new stone brackets!
I’m on W55 D2 and on w6 (and final dose) of 3.75mg before moving onto 2.5mg.

We recommend the Shotsy app to monitor the amount of MJ in the system and pleasing graphs to look at…plus the MeThreeSixty body scan app to monitor inch loss for the weeks where weight loss is slow but you might have lost body fat etc. Both are free.
Feel free to swap recipes that might inspire anyone in a food rut, tips for managing side effects, exercise tips, tips for maintenance, titrating up or down and we love a wellness/supplements/beauty/ style chat too 🤗

Congratulations @TheSlimmingPumpkin! 🎉🎉🎉. Amazing result!

Mounjaropen · 27/02/2026 07:56

Good morning lovely friends in my phone! special shout-out to @TheSlimmingPumpkin for the sterling 6 stone loss 🥳

Friday update from me:

Still on a weekly dose of 2.5mg.

Weight: stubbornly staying around 137lbs. I’m hoping this is muscle related because this week I’ve concentrated on low carb, good quality protein, low carb/GI fruit, absolutely no booze and no treats beyond a handful of almonds or a teaspoon of organic peanut butter . A packet of creme eggs remains resolutely untouched as is a bar of divine dark chocolate. Result?..Zero weight loss for me and the chances of me fitting into the Roksanda dress around the bust area for my friends wedding in mid April is looking increasingly remote 😭

Exercise: 2 x Lagree, 5 x Pvolve, 5 x 3 mile/45 min 5% incline treadmill walks (watching the Gordon Ramsay Netflix documentary) and 1 x 2 hour tennis match. Dog is limping 🥲 so we’ve not been out much.

Food: As above, been very good - even down to only eating dates once this week. Only effect I’ve had is my old friend constipation 😩

Beauty: Well the Vinted activity (you need to get on this @SerenePeer but I’m not in either @Oceangrey or @Goldleafcat ’s league )has meant I’m £150 up this week and like @jay55 my beauty drawer can close again 😂 Did spend £92 on the Boots offer though but that was to replace items I’d run out of. My neighbour came with me to Lagree yesterday and has those Jet Boots that St Jennifer of Anniston favours which she swears by so I’m honest and will confess to falling down a rabbit hole for those yesterday. Plus PEMF mats. And LED masks. I absolutely don’t need any of them. Or do I? 😈

Fashion : was intending a No spend this week but inspired by @RayonSunrise and @lovealongbath i did buy a new nude Panache Envy bra in the sale. I’ve also worn my new Peloton leggings in lovely pastel shades this week which has given me much joy. I did however for Valentines Day receive a lovely day trip on the Belmont/Pullman train at the end of March from DH (presents have definitely got better since we married 😉) for which we have to dress up so I’m considering a new frock for that.. possibly the self portrait maxi dress which matches my gold blouse from last year. Apparently you can’t be too overdressed so I’ll be testing that theory 😂

Off for a boozy lunch to one restaurants from the GR Netflix doc later with DD and DH so hopefully a liberal dose of Rose will influence the scales 🤞🏻Hope everyone has something lovely planned for the weekend!

Oh @Mounjaropen that is frustrating on the weight loss front. You MUST be due a wee whoosh after that effort - here's hoping your tried and tested rose method has the desired approach or we'll be sending you in search of the Asda chocolate cake! Or was a doughnut? I can't remember now! 😂

Happy Friday skinny ones 🥳

No change this week, even to the ounce! Weight loss isn't linear, weight loss isn't linear, weight loss isn't linear.........
To be fair, Lidl doing their free bakery items offer didn't help. I've definitely been more snacky this week so I might nudge up a dose for my next pen. I'm currently on 5mg as I've been very lucky with low doses working well for me, but have been reaching for the sugar more than I was.

TheSlimmingPumpkin · 27/02/2026 15:21

I hear you @PinkArt. This last push for me seems to be taking an eternity.

I have one dose left of 10mg with 4lbs to go. I am loathe to order another 10mg as I have 3 x 7.5mg pens to use. I am dithering a bit on it but I didn’t find any difference in suppression between the two and people have said that they have still lost weight on maintenance. I guess I could give 7.5mg as go and then if it doesn’t work just extract a higher dose.

jay55 · 27/02/2026 16:42

Happy Friday all.

Well done on losses, and sticking with it through the stalls. I’m in a loss phase and utterly delighted.
76.85kg this week. After being stuck at 82 for so long the last few weeks feel miraculous. And 75kg for my holiday wholly reachable.

Earlier in the week the baked potato really was a great cure for my acid stomach. Everything calmed down after.

Im off to Edinburgh for the weekend tomorrow. I’ve booked the hotel breakfast for Sunday and aim to walk it off in the steep streets.

Fantastic! And have a wonderful time in Edinburgh. Let us know if there is haggis on your breakfast plate! (Seems to be an addition these days!)

Goldleafcat · 28/02/2026 07:51

Happy Saturday all!

No loss for me this week. I’m slightly up from my lowest but by part of a pound so I’m ok with that (consistently around 9 stone 12 this week). I managed to talk myself out of splurging on a Ziip Halo micro current device (found some negative reviews to help me along haha). Instead I’m being sure to use my LED mask religiously and see how I get on (wasn’t as consistent as I meant to be in 2025). Too many splurges as of late and I want to get back into saving. That said, we have booked a break to Center Parcs for May 😅

This week was busier than planned but I’ve loaded 3 things to Vinted and 2 sold within the hour! More of that for me this weekend.

Have a lovely weekend everyone.

Morning everyone!

I’m hung over but alive after a very boozy lunch yesterday 😂

Interesting article in The Times this morning which might be of interest to you. Run the link through a paywall remover if you can’t access it. Very interesting points about how long we should be staying on the drugs, set point theory and mindset. I think I’ll be buying the book after reading it.

Well done!

Sold two more items on Vinted overnight 🥳

Also overnight I remembered I forgot to pay the express zone drop off charge at the airport when I collected DD.. so that’s a fair chunk of my profit wiped out 😩

“I advise patients to transition to a lower “maintenance dose” at which they neither gain nor lose weight, continuing pharmaceutical support while the psychological work consolidates. This allows the body’s set point to gradually accept the new weight as normal and gives the brain’s reward pathways time to recalibrate. I typically recommend about 12 months at maintenance dose after reaching target weight”

interesting article @Mounjaropen I was planning on a long maintenance, maybe a potential lifer but if it is possible to get the body to accept a new set point then I will be delighted.

The weight-loss doctor’s injection guide: what you need to know — The Times and The Sunday Times

I am an NHS doctor, and over the past few years I have watched weight-loss medications such as Mounjaro and Wegovy genuinely transform the lives of some patients. But I have also watched many others struggle: people who could not manage the side-effect...

Oceangrey · 02/03/2026 10:44

Thing is it's not just an appetite suppressant, it also impacts how the body processes the food you do eat. So even if you stay on for quite a while on maintenance, I would think that you might still see a weight increase when you come off, even if not eating more.

I certainly have found that Mounjaro made it possible for me to lose weight while eating an amount that otherwise would have resulted in me staying the same.
