Well we're coming up to a year on our weight loss journeys so be nice to catch up with everyone's progress. For me and no doubt many others it's been life changing. I lost 4 stone and its not too dramatic to say I got my life back.

I was so down about the way I looked and the way my health was deteriorating. Aches and pains, low energy, high blood pressure, knee pain to name just a few. Mounjaro is a miracle drug as far as I'm concerned.

I joined a gym back in January and have been weight training 3 times a week and loving it. I've got loads of energy and all the aches and pains have gone and I'm off the blood pressure meds. I've got a whole new wardrobe of clothes courtesy of Vinted and wearing clothes I never thought I would be able to wear. I lived in tunic tops and leggings, the only time I wear leggings now is at the gym.

Maintenance is actually harder than I thought it would be. I am half a stone under my goal weight but am actually happy at this weight so that's where I'm aiming to stay. I'm staying on 5mg as I need that safety net. I never went above above the 5mg dose.

Would love to see how everyone else is getting on.

Well done @Shitzngiggles! You have done so well! It really does sound as if you have a new lease of life!

I am still plodding away. I am still on 5mg and will not go above that because, well, basically, I can't afford to!!
I have lost 4.5 stone now although I still have a belly and big boobs. I have about another stone that I would like to lose. That still means I am in the overweight BMI category, but at 58 then I don't want to get haggard looking.
The weight loss has been incredibly slow recently...only 2lbs last month, but I am still coming down so...
I wanted to come off after about a year, but have decided to stay on it until after Christmas as I will definitely need the support over that period! I will reassess in the New Year and hopefully start titrating down.

I’m afraid that I had to come off the jabs as was being violently sick, back in February . I’ve recently had a diagnosis of gall stones which I’m going to have to have an operation to remove. So, not to alarm anyone, as these drugs are clearly an amazing tool, but please do watch out for any unwanted side effects.
