@jaelato1 thank you 😊

Great to see everyone is doing so well!

Tomorrow marks 4 months for me, I took my first jab on 26th October, I’ve lost 38 lbs and I am just about at goal - 0.4 lbs to go. I’m going to let things settle, and try to focus on maintaining good eating habits for now as I work out maintenance calories versus exercise.

Eatinpeachesonthebeaches · 25/02/2026 07:49

Now down at 9 stone from 10 10 over 17 weeks or so. Still dropping about a pound a week. A stone or so to go. Must admit it's lovely being able to wear clothes that I was far too big for in early October. Now find myself busy pruning the wardrobe.

putthehamsterbackinitscage · 26/02/2026 07:18

@Eatinpeachesonthebeachesit is great isn’t it…. I’ve got back into stuff I’ve not worn in years. Still got to finish going through my wardrobe to remove stuff that is way too big, but I think I’ll store the jeans and some nicer things until I prove to myself I can maintain now.

Have you got more to go to target?

Eatinpeachesonthebeaches · 26/02/2026 07:53

About another stone.as I'm under 5 feet tall. Still have a couple of things to get into which keeps the incentives going. I'm keeping good larger sized clothes that I like in storage for at least a year.

StrongLikeMamma · 26/02/2026 08:02

The bikini was way to small for my boobs! They haven’t quite got the memo yet about my weightloss 🤣🙄

Anyway, bought a couple of size down swimming costumes that looks awesome so am happy with that.

Totally agree about storing bigger clothes untill I am convinced I can maintain. I have a way to go until I reach target but feel like I want to focus on muscle preservation now as the bulk of my weight has gone.

SW 14.4
CW 11.11
TW 11

Am stalling a bit on 2.5 again, but the 5 made me feel so sick, I’m planning to try and lose the last bit more slowly and hope that helps with maintenance - coming off WLIs feels very daunting!

putthehamsterbackinitscage · 26/02/2026 10:15

@StrongLikeMamma I found boobs and belly were the last areas to shrink …. Don’t give up hope of the bikini just yet! And, you’ll enjoy the holiday so much in smaller clothes.

jabbed 4.5 today as that was what was left in my pen and decided not to start a new one to top up…. Will jab again in 4/5 days when I feel like I need it instead.

i also got to target this morning - was so close the last couple of weeks and was thinking of moving to maintaining even if I didn’t get there, but I am so happy to have made it. 39lbs down, a smallest I been in a long time.

StrongLikeMamma · 26/02/2026 11:48

@putthehamsterbackinitscage Yay!!! Well done you that’s fantastic news 🎉🎉🎉

Shitzngiggles · 26/02/2026 15:30

@putthehamsterbackinitscage congratulations on reaching goal, must be an amazing feeling.

putthehamsterbackinitscage · 26/02/2026 15:38

Thanks - I have to say it was a great start to the day… and even getting a flat tyre on my new to me car on the way home from the garage hasn’t dented my good mood 😃

Shitzngiggles · 27/02/2026 17:43

I was sorting out all my big clothes today to sell on Vinted. It struck me I haven't worn leggings in months. That was my go to, leggings and tunic tops. All the tunic tops are on Vinted now 😃. The leggings will probably get consigned to the pile for decorating and other mucky jobs. Can finally wear more fitted clothes.

narcASD · 01/03/2026 19:11

Hey all, good to see everyone still motivated and doing well.

@Shitzngigglessame here re the leggings, I used to live and die in them, now wearing nice tailored wide leg trousers and fitted shirts for work, makes getting dressed in the mornings actually pleasant, used to dread what to wear.

No major changes regarding weight loss, I am bang on 12st which was my end of Feb goal, half a stone a month is what I'm aiming at. Will be good to see the 11's on the scales.

I've not actually been watching what I eat the last week or so, actually ate an Easter egg to myself yesterday, also missed a week at the gym. Think I needed a rest from it all, now motivated to get back to calorie counting again and working out.

putthehamsterbackinitscage · 06/03/2026 18:24

So 1st week of maintenance done…. Still got some way to go to understand maintenance calories etc but I lost a little more in the first few days and now seem to be staying around 1-2 lbs down from target. Still weighing daily when I am at home as that helps me to see the impact of exercise levels and calories.

The extra 1-2lb is ok for now but I don’t really want to lose more weight (size 8 now fits nicely), so I need to know where I am so I can try to adjust food intake.

Hope everyone has had a good week. My DD turned 25 today so lots of reminiscing and feeling old!

StrongLikeMamma · 07/03/2026 13:03

Great job @putthehamsterbackinitscage! 🙌 please keep us updated as to how your maintenance is going.

Last night of a week’s holiday here and am yet to weigh in. Will do so tomorrow & find out what impact it’s had.

Have been eating small amounts still, although last night’s dinner did not want to stay down and came up after an uncomfortable 1/2hr of indigestion at 2am. It’s weird, every time I’ve been sick on WLIs I have eaten fish and drunk fizzy water with dinner. Maybe it’s just easy to overeat fish, I don’t know. The thing is as a pescatarian it’s my main protein source so can’t just not eat it.

On a more positive note, it’s been really lovely being in a hot country, wearing summer dresses, shorts and swimwear and not feeling huge! 💛🌴

Shitzngiggles · 12/03/2026 19:44

How's everyone doing? I'm only 2lbs from goal now, though I may try and get another half stone off. Been having a mad spending spree on Vinted, its quite addictive.

@StrongLikeMamma that's something I can't wait for, Greece in June and being able to wear clothes I want to wear and not clothes I have to wear. Hope you had a good time.

Lovesabadboy · 12/03/2026 23:57

2lbs from goal is amazing! Well done, @Shitzngiggles!

I do my main weigh-in on a Sunday and an interim one on a Thursday. Today I reached the 3 stone milestone and am so chuffed.
I still have a couple of stone to go, but will keep plodding away. I am still on 2.5mg and still losing about 2lbs a week which I am happy with.
The suppression is not as strong now so I am having to use my own will-power towards the end of the week, but I think that is a good thing, so won't change anything.

Hope everyone is still doing well!

SexyFrenchDepression · 13/03/2026 10:20

@Shitzngiggles thats great, I am just over 1lb from goal now and want to do the same as you. Will feel better half a stone lighter to give a bit of leeway. Am doing a bit of shopping today which I'm looking forward to.

jaelato1 · 16/03/2026 11:46

Hope everyone is doing well!

I am been MIA but fat loss process is still ongoing - 3st light now and have one more stone to go, still not back on MJ but still losing fat which is encouraging.

Congratulations to everyone that have reached their goal or almost about to reach it. Well done!

Clumsykitten · 16/03/2026 20:19

Well done @jaelato1 and everyone!

I’m slowly keeping going. Moved my dose up to 4mg, and now 4.1mg, but still just trying to make ok choices with food. Suppression isn’t that strong but it’s a good balance so I keep telling myself it will be easier to taper down if I’m still getting a bit hungry, and losing slowly?

79.8kg now which is 12.6 st and feels quite exciting! I really need to focus on the exercise side of things as I feel a bit saggy 🤦‍♀️

narcASD · 16/03/2026 21:39

Well done @jaelato1 that's really encouraging as I've stopped MJ now, week 3 and not really noticed much difference in hunger, lost another 4lb so hit 4st total weight loss. I've another 2st to go still.

@Clumsykitten that's great! Your closer to the 11's now, I find working out and lifting weights helps keep me motivated although I've not been to the gym this week I still work out at home.

Eatinpeachesonthebeaches · 18/03/2026 08:06

Woot!. I have lost 2 stone and am a healthy bmi on the nhs calculator. Probably for the first time in 20 years.

Great news, well done.

putthehamsterbackinitscage · 19/03/2026 09:41

Well
done @Eatinpeachesonthebeaches that’s fab progress…

Seems like several of us are near target now.

After 3 weeks in maintenance, I am staying in my target range but still need to balance out eating and exercise.

I've decided to stay at around the same dose for now / between 4.5 and 5 mg every 5 days but will gradually reduce dose and extend days over the coming months, but doing so very gradually.

it seems as though there is less info on how to do maintenance and less people are posting maintenance experiences than the monthly starters threads.

My main aim is to find what calories work for my activity levels and I’m happy to carry on jabbing as it’s still helping me avoid snacks and not drinking much.

@narcASDand @jaelato1- keep posting your experiences of coming off…. I think it’s good to hear such positive views on maintaining without jabbing. I might get there eventually!

StrongLikeMamma · 20/03/2026 09:04

Yay @Eatinpeachesonthebeaches 🙌 - am also officially in a healthy BMI category today for the first time in years!

24.6 🎉
