W4D1 for me and I have lost 10lb, I can’t quite believe it!

My clothes fit so much better and I feel really good. Nobody has noticed yet and I am resisting the urge to go up to people like a raving nutcase (well, so far anyway 🤣) and say LOOK AT ME, I’VE LOST WEIGHT.

I’m 6 jabs in now sooo week 6 day 5 and while the suppression isn’t as aggressive I’m steadily dropping weight and glowing. Honestly. I feel amazing. I think I’m 8.3kg down total (about 18lbs) and feel amazing.

Interestingly I’ve been craving food lately but it’s been very specifically Asian food? Think like dim sum, broths, hot pot etc. I guess it’s all lean protein, sodium and lots of greens.

Nsv but my skin looks amazing and because I’m not snacking constantly I’m taking more time on things like hair care, having a nice herbal tea etc.

I really hope this stays. I’ve got a 2.5mg on the go, one in the fridge and I’ve got one on back order. I think, to feel like this, and have the space to lock in these habits over autumn and winter it’s def worth it.

Hoping everybody is doing well as well

Wow new thread time already. I’ve just done my 6th jab, staying at 2.5mg because still getting significant suppression, been away camping for the weekend and had a bit of discomfort yesterday after pizza, 4 G&Ts and a glass of wine - camping in the rain isn’t fun! Feel okay this morning after a LOT of peppermint tea. Weighing in morning, keeping everything crossed for a loss despite the weekends activities!

What perfect timing for a new thread as September approaches.

My biggest fear was indigestion or burps and it’s been quite the opposite with less indigestion as I’m eating so much cleaner.

Well done everyone! Im dreading my second official weigh in tomorrow as I've been in York since Friday! Whilst I dont think I've overeaten, and deffo put in some steps, I have had my fill of wine whilst here! Wish me luck 🤦‍♀️🤞

Ive been on holiday for 2 weeks so haven’t been checking in and have also found it difficult to be very careful. I have had a few treats that I wouldn’t have had at home and eaten more in general but I have still managed to lose. I’m on W4 D2 and I’m 10lb down overall, very pleased! I decided to stay on the 2.5mg for the next dose (which I have) but I am dreading what will happen when I try and get a new pen with the new prices.

Having my first takeaway on mounjaro tonight as its a family thing and I can't get out of it. (Well full disclaimer I've also had a McDonald's at about week 3 but I got a wrap with melon side and a sugar free drink instead of a Big mac and chips and milkshake so I feel like that was acceptable)

It's probably going to be Chinese so thinking of getting something in black bean or oyster sauce (these used to be better on slimming world as not deep fried or high sugar sauces)

I Really start to struggle eating, we went out yesterday for dinner and I only had a small portion of my lovely food.
I also feel my water drinking makes me full as well, grrr

Thanks for starting a new thread! Well today I have had strong suppression and have struggled to eat. I have added it all up and have had 820 calories. Think tomorrow I will have one of those huel protein shakes as I am better with liquid calories than actual food when I feel like this.
I nearly had KFC last night but had to cancel the order as it was going to arrive just under 2 hours after ordering! I was going to have one of their rice bowls for 600 kcal.
I am due to go out on Friday with friends to a Turkish restaurant. My friends don't know I am on MJ so not sure what to have and if I am having a high suppression day how I get around not eating much! When I go out I usually have a lot, eat everything on my plate + pudding so will just say I am cutting back or something.
Haven't had alcohol yet but due too in October on a day out. Not sure how I will get on with that as my friends know me as the big drinker with cocktails, pints of cider 🤣

Third jab last night, less nausea today than previous but the heart burn.. oh my. Main learning for today is don't try to do any weeding or other gardening activities that involve significant leaning forward /bending over. I can confirm that did NOT help the heartburn situation.

6th jab today, should have been Thursday but it didn’t arrive on time

16lb down so far and very pleased with that but life is back to normal tomorrow with school being back so I’m nervous about keeping my momentum

Bookmarking for the new thread. I’m still tootling along with a bit of suppression and plenty of willpower. Slightly worried about the scales on Thursday as this weekend I’ve been out for dinner and drinks and a wedding so will shall see! On the plus side I didn’t eat any of the tons of cakes that were available so maybe it’s working?!

I think i'm experiencing suppression - I've managed to eat all 3 meals for the day, hit 1116 calories, no snacking, high protein meals BUT... no tummy rumbling inbetween... is that suppression?! Normally my stomach would be growling but it didn't. I ate because I knew I had to. No feeling of fullness or aversion to food yet. Is this what people have been talking about? 😅 feel clueless still

Yes that’s suppression. It’s the strangest feeling not being hungry any more or having a rumbly tummy. I have to remind myself to eat as I get distracted working and then realise hours later I haven’t had lunch!

Thread 2 already! Amazing progress everyone.

I did jab 4 on Friday and I've lost 12lb. So close to a stone! I love looking at my weight tracking app as I find it really motivating. Apparently I'm 36% of the way to my goal weight.

I'm back to work today so I'm looking forward to the routine of only being able to eat what I take to work with me. I just find eating healthily is much easier during the week. I have been feeling fuller, faster and have to remember to eat but I'm still having intense sugar cravings.

I've ordered my next pen and I'm staying on 2.5.

Yep, that's it.

We eat as a family so it's easy for me to schedule meals even when I am not hungry or fancy eating. Also work breaks are around a set time as well.

Morning all! Total loss so far since 10th August is 11.5 lbs - very happy and hopefully can continue going downwards. Will stay on 2.5 for now as it seems to be working and have no noticeable side effects.

Clothes feel looser and feel less lumpy around my middle.

I did my 6th jab today, a couple of days early as I have stayed on 2.5 and felt ready to do another. I’ll keep my weigh in day as Wednesday though. I don’t feel I’ve lost anything much this week though. If it’s 1lb I’ll be ok with that. I’m ok with a slow loss. I’d rather keep to a low dose if possible and only experience a light suppression so that I eat healthily rather than struggle to eat. At least that’s the plan, it’s still trial and error!

But I have to say that this stuff is amazing. On Weds it’ll be 5 weeks since I took my first jab and I hope to have lost 11/12 lb. And it hasn’t felt like a diet, it hasn’t taken over my life. I feel lighter in every way.

Morning! I’m new to this thread, I am currently on W2, D5. I am currently 4lb down from when I started. I tend to weigh daily. It’s amazing how much my weight fluctuates. I had a very low weight on Saturday morning then I’d put on nearly 1kg on Sunday morning and I’m still heavier than Saturday today. I wonder what happened on Saturday!

I’m definitely not able to eat as much as normal but I still have all my cravings. I drink Pepsi max all the time and I’m still craving 2-3 cans a day, although sometimes I can’t finish the can now. I still want wine most evenings, although I have cut down on drinking.

Good morning everyone,
i posted in the other one, only just noticed this new one there.

im W2D1.

but i think I’ve made a huge boo-boo.
when injecting my second dose there, i felt I was pushing the pen too far into my tummy and was hurting so tried to pull out a little and pulled the whole thing out. The instructions in front of me said not to resinsert the same needle so I pushed out the rest. I inserted around 3/4 of the dose. I pushed the rest down the sink, removed the needle and put the cap back on but I’m so worried that it either doesn’t effect me or that I have ruined the pen and my journey.

is this such a big deal as I’m making out? My pharmacy opens at 10 so will call them but I’m freaking out. My husband spoke me through it last week and I think I just panicked being on my own making sure I did everything correct😔xx
