Hello all
Been missing in action for ages, but reading occasionally. Looks like tremendous progress for everyone. I’ve been on the 7.5 dose for about 8 weeks now and am at my original goal weight, but am staying on the same dose for the next month to get down closer to 11st, at which point I’ll be a safe size 14 on the bottom and a 12 on top. Am in the ‘normal’ range for BMI since about 2 weeks ago which feels great.
I empathise with the ups and downs at this lower weight rather than the steady losses. I’ve found weighing almost every day helps this. I can see the weight goes up and down by as much as a .8 of a kilo, but the progress over a week or so continues to be down. If I look back to August when I started, I lost 4kilos in the first month, then 3, then 2 kilos for a couple of months, and now it’s 1-1.5 each month. But can be flat for a while - was stuck at 73.6 ish for nearly 2 weeks, then suddenly on Thursday it was 72.4 and has been there since. Who knows! I’ve found I definitely need to exercise to keep the scale going down so have upped that recently, although still not doing enough strength stuff.
Am also nervous about coming off. Think I will get a 5mg pen next and try going down slowly. Bit irritated at the ‘there wasn’t an extra dose but we’ve reduced it just because we can’ line although my current 7.5mg pen seems to have the golden dose in from what I can see so far (dose 2 today).
