Hi everyone. I hope you are keeping well.

I am on my last dose of 5mg to do at the weekend and still undecided whether to go onto the 2.5 for maintenance as of yet. I lost 4lbs this week after about a month or 5 weeks of not getting very far at all. I'm just unsure if financially maintenence dose would be worth it.

However, I've finally broken into the 10s so really happy with that!

Plodding away here, one on, one off and in the same position I was a fortnight ago. The 11 stone bracket is just out of reach.

New pen this week and moving up to 7.5mg, it’s definitely time.
Trying to concentrate on non scale victories like being in a size 12/14 now compared to a size 18/20 last August.
Like @MrJollyLivesNextDoorshopping for spring summer has been much more enjoyable.

I've managed to lose 2lb this week which is the most I've lost in a long time. Weight loss has dropped significantly over the last few months and I suspect I've stayed on 7.5mg for too long - I think I've had 3 pens of this dose. I've now moved up, I ordered a 10mg pen and last night injected 8.75mg as I was worried about side effects, then next week I'll move up to 10mg if I'm feeling OK.

My goal weight is only 9lb away now, I'm really hoping to be able to reach that soon. Thinking ahead to maintaining, I'm planning to move back down through the doses once at goal rather than stopping suddenly. I'm not sure how quickly they suggest dropping down doses though, does anyone know or have a plan of how they will do it?

I am still struggling with my shoulder fracture and I'm utterly glad that now all my T-shirts are so big that I can actually get in and out without any problems. They look a bit ridiculous, but I don't have any issues.

Weight wise I think I didn't lose a lot of this week, I sleep utterly horrible so I assume this is currently affecting the weight loss plus I think I need to look into how much I drink again.

With Easter on the way I'm not too confident as my parents-in-law decided to send us a surprise package with sweets. And as our daughter is home from university, it's very much cooking things she likes but doesn't do for one person. I have to be very disciplined.

Weigh day again today! Lost 2lbs!!! I’m in the 10 stone brackets now so I’m 10stone 12.5lbs
I actually cannot believe I’m in the 10s never did I think this would happen!
It’s weird because I’ve always imagined if I was 10 stone something then I’d be really slim but I’m still not! Still fat tummy and only just fit in size 12s (tiny boobs but WIDE ribcage is weird). BMI 23.
So will keep on keeping on. Not sure if the 2lb loss was to do with period ending today or the fact that I injected an extra 1mg last week so on 8.5?? Anyone found going up such a small amount does much? I’ll golden dose the same tomorrow and will see what next weeks weigh in brings I guess?

Is it just me or do jab days come round quick?

Had a loss of 3lb this week, but I've made the decision to go up a dose as the last few weeks have been tough.

I wanted to be in 13st bracket by Easter - I really didn't think I would make it so am very happy today.

NSV - I bought a belt before starting MJ it was a big belt, now on the last hole. I reckon its around 4 inches off my waist.

1lb down and that means I lost exactly 24kg!

I swapped my magnesium brand and now I definitely have no issue with constipation :-)

Still chugging along at 1-2lbs a week losses on 5mg.

The 16st zone is within touching distance which is keeping me motivated to stay on my current dose.

Another 2lbs off - flickering around the 17st mark. Hoping to be in the 16st zone in the next 2 weeks.

Hello all

Been missing in action for ages, but reading occasionally. Looks like tremendous progress for everyone. I’ve been on the 7.5 dose for about 8 weeks now and am at my original goal weight, but am staying on the same dose for the next month to get down closer to 11st, at which point I’ll be a safe size 14 on the bottom and a 12 on top. Am in the ‘normal’ range for BMI since about 2 weeks ago which feels great.

I empathise with the ups and downs at this lower weight rather than the steady losses. I’ve found weighing almost every day helps this. I can see the weight goes up and down by as much as a .8 of a kilo, but the progress over a week or so continues to be down. If I look back to August when I started, I lost 4kilos in the first month, then 3, then 2 kilos for a couple of months, and now it’s 1-1.5 each month. But can be flat for a while - was stuck at 73.6 ish for nearly 2 weeks, then suddenly on Thursday it was 72.4 and has been there since. Who knows! I’ve found I definitely need to exercise to keep the scale going down so have upped that recently, although still not doing enough strength stuff.

Am also nervous about coming off. Think I will get a 5mg pen next and try going down slowly. Bit irritated at the ‘there wasn’t an extra dose but we’ve reduced it just because we can’ line although my current 7.5mg pen seems to have the golden dose in from what I can see so far (dose 2 today).

I'm down 1.5lbs this week, now 9st 11.5lbs (-48.25lbs total ). I've been minus a pound, up a quarter, minus a half, up a quarter etc but I am coming off.
Last 5 jab tonight then on 2.5, I'll have 6 x 2.5 jabs, planning on taking first couple a week apart then 10 days apart.
Not bothered about losing anymore, happy to stay this clothes size but I'll focus on my strength training more. Looking forward to having more energy and hopefully keeping this bod for summer! 🤞🤣

I weighed today instead of yesterday, I’m usually a Sunday weigher but with the schools being off I’ve lost track of the days.
2.2lbs lost this week and goal weight achieved🎉🎉

took my 3rd jab today and still have a jab for next week and then hoping to be finished but I’m still swaying on maybe ordering either a 5mg and just doing 2.5mg or ordering a 2.5mg and seeing how coming down the dose goes.
i guess I have 2 weeks to make my mind up.

I moved up from 7.5mg to 8.75mg last week as losses had been really slow for the last month or two and it seems to have done the trick. I'm not sure whether to go up to 10mg tomorrow or stick at 8.75mg and make the pen last a bit longer. Once I've finished this pen I think I'll start moving down the doses gradually.

I've barely done any exercise and really need to start. I was staying with family for a long while until recently and couldn't really exercise there and I'm not in a position to join a gym at the moment so need to find something I can do from home now I've moved. I thought I'd buy some weights and find some YouTube exercise videos. Can anyone recommend any?

That's a good idea @LnicMJ to increase the days between jabs as moving down through the doses. I might try that when I start moving down.

Having started a pretty much stone heavier than you I continue to mirror your loss and weigh in at 11st 13lbs today. We have the same original goal but like you it’s flexible and I am going on feel more than anything.

On the YouTube front, I can recommend Yes2next. They’re suitable for all
abilities and cover a wide range of exercises from walking, t’ai chi, resistance work and weights. Two very funny ladies (mother and daughter), it reminds me of the relationship I had with my own mother!
