Thank you for allowing me to rant, share our ups and downs. Our group blows my mind of how we are so supportive of each other.
Some of us are now hitting the 12 week mark, some of us are nearly at their goal, some halfway and some still have a way to go, but we are all losing even if it’s half a pound a week. We have all come so far and are making a difference to our health.

Thread 6 blows my mind

Today I weighed in at 79.75kg. First time my weight has started with a 7 since I was a teenager! (39 now)
Ive lost just over 16kg since starting 13th March. Life changing for me.

Checking in 👋

popdepop · 13/06/2025 18:35

Can't believe we are at thread 6. 2 stone 6 pounds down, W13 D1. ❤️

GameOfJones · 13/06/2025 18:41

Thank you for the new thread! It still blows my mind that I was in the 14s at the start of thread 1 and am now in the 11s!

Week 15 and 30lbs gone.

Ingangoolie · 13/06/2025 19:02

Crikey, here we all are, thanks @TheSpoonyNavyReader

Yellowsubmarine55 · 13/06/2025 19:12

Thread 6 already?? Great chatting everyone 🙂

ShineyGreen · 13/06/2025 19:27

Thank you @TheSpoonyNavyReader for the lovely shiny new thread :)

So much to catch up on, I’ve been reading bits and bobs during the week but not got round to posting.

I’m sure someone said they were off on holiday soon to Greece, but they only mentioned it very briefly, once, and didn’t make me envious at all. I can’t even tag her because she’s not on the thread yet 😂😂

@TheBossOfMe really pleased for you- you have been so focused and consistent. Hurrah! Bit disappointing of juniper though. Your post about maintenance has made me wonder, quite a few of you have also said that MJ makes you feel generally better and so are many of you planning on staying on it longer/post target as well?

Bipaloss · 13/06/2025 19:53

Evening all, this is me checking in on Thread 6 from 18.1 st on thread 1 (16 March starter) to current 15.8 st

thank you @TheSpoonyNavyReader for keeping the threads going

seasidehunter · 13/06/2025 20:05

Well… after a 3 week stall with not even the slightest budge on the scales I have… wait for it… lost 0.5lb 🫣🤪 Now 11st 1lb!

In fact it’s not even weigh in day - that’s Sunday so who wants to bet I’ll have put that back on before my official weekly weigh in?

Amjam2025 · 13/06/2025 20:09

Thanks for the new thread @TheSpoonyNavyReader
Just checking in :)

ShineyGreen · 13/06/2025 20:49

Quick stats check in:
SW 17st (I think) 238lbs 108kg
CW 14st10 206lbs 93.5kg
TW 11st4 158lbs 70kg

Lost 2st4 32lbs 14.5kg

I've not written those all out for a while and there have been lots of milestones that I’ve gone past and not realised!!

I am losing steadily without even having to think about it which is really nice on one hand, but I have realised that I have lost interest in food to such a point that it is a complete ballache to even think about. I don’t look forward to food, I am not excited about trying anything new, food shopping for something tasty for a celebration meal is just another chore. I can’t muster up any enthusiasm for anything to do with it. My sister and I are taking my dad out for lunch on Father’s Day and normally it would be something to look forward to, a real treat- this year I’d rather do anything else 😂

I think the ADHD meds are what’s changed it. When it was just MJ I would still enjoy what I ate, I just didn’t need to eat as much to feel satisfied. Last 3 weeks have been lower dose of MJ and then basically medical grade speed, and I don’t care about eating AT ALL. I am having to set an alarm on my phone to remind me to eat otherwise during the day I would have no calories at all and this is just not healthy.

it also means that I am not making thoughtful choices- a bowl of granola /yoghurt/fruit for dinner isnt really a great/sustainable option, but I just cannot be arsed. Meh. I miss enjoying food.

Yetanotherusername2000 · 13/06/2025 22:21

Hi all Smile

I’ve lost 2 stone 5 and about to consider maintenance - I’ve got a call booked with oushk next week. I did read the maintenance threads, but as someone else said, it feels safer in here with people at the same stage as me.
I’m trying to push an extra couple of days, I was to jab on Thursday, but wanted to wait until tomorrow. My feet have been really sore tonight and I’m so worried about inflammation returning.

I am on 5mg, but think I will count the clicks and try 3.75 for next few weeks. I’m wary about stopping if the inflammation (long covid etc) returns tho, I’d be happier to keep a low level forever if needed!

Bipaloss · 13/06/2025 22:23

I have an odd NSV for you all

we are a 2/3 dinner household, due to being a multicultural household I cook one dinner for kids and another for DH and sometimes one for me or I either eat DH food or kids food

since MJ I eat very less dinner and focus on lunch being my main meal , but has also meant I’m not focusing on cooking for DH 😂 even don’t think about when I shop. Tonight he said you lost complete interest in food so you forget about me 🫣 so I can completely relate @ShineyGreen

i didn’t say it but it feel sort of nice of prioritising me instead of him for once without realising 🤣🤦‍♀️🫣

JudgingJudy · 13/06/2025 22:37

@seasidehunter I'm your dieting sister! A slow loser.

Down 1lb today after STS last week. A total loss os 17lbs since I started.
I feel it's very slow (compared to others) but I'm hoping that means 17lbs of fat.

My weight loss is slow and appetite supression middling. I certainly experience hunger for meals.

While I'm delighted with 17lbs loss, and I have failed repeatedly to do this without MJ, the SE are considerable. I am sleeping poorly, and I'm constantly tired. I would describe my mood as anhedonia/ennui - a slight fed upness. I'm putting up with it but i'm looking forward to cutting down the MJ.

My BMI is now 25 and I have ordered a new 5mg pen for next week. I took 7.5 today using the surplus from the current 5mg pen.Hmm I intend to get down to 160lbs which would be a BMI of 24, and then titrate down to some level of maintenance. I've an appointment to have my bloods done in 2 weeks - I'll be very interested in my cholestrol levels , which are why I was prescribed MJ at a BMI of 27.5.

soupforbrains · 13/06/2025 23:53

I’m not sure if it will be a disappointment or a relief to hear that I did not, in the end, bring my scales with me to Lincolnshire for the weekend.

i will weigh myself while im
here using my cousins scales
bit obviously they won’t necessarily give the same read as my home scales.

as such instead of giving my weekly weigh in tomorrow on ‘foreign’ scales I am going to give it today based on my this morning weigh in.

SW: 19st19
CW: 17st2
GW: 11st7

loss this week: 3lb
total loss: 2st 8lb

this brings up my 2 and a half stone milestone which is great. Especially as in pre-menstrual so the next week loss should be reasonable anyway.

thanks for the new thread @TheSpoonyNavyReader

Puddingpiper · 14/06/2025 01:16

Thank you for the new thread @TheSpoonyNavyReader

I have done 3.75 as my dose today the increase has reduced the food noise, I am finally consistently drinking enough water.

for those struggling the farm yard bovine collagen I’ve found a good trick of drinking it out of a travel mug then you cannot smell the contents - I’m having mine in iced coffee since Wednesday

TryingMJ · 14/06/2025 07:51

Absolute TMI for a Saturday morning but…

Has anyone else not had a solid bowel movement since beginning mounjaro 🙈😂

Paulahoust · 14/06/2025 08:43

SW 23rd March 13st 4.6lb!
CW 11st 4.6lb
GW 10st 6lb as that's the last weight I remember feeling happy in myself 15 years ago!

Cannot believe I have lost 2 stone it's mind blowing!! I would love to see a 10 on the scales in 4 weeks when I go on holiday, keep up the good work everyone 👏

TheSpoonyNavyReader · 14/06/2025 09:03

Good morning all

I am going to post this for accountability as this week I have gained 2 pound this week, over the last few weeks I have not been mindful in what I am doing. My wine consumption has gone up, I am not drinking enough water went from drinking 2.5-3 litres a day to maybe one glass a day, eating out.
I have started a new job after not working for a few months and I am now travelling with work, staying over night.
When I am in the office I am not organising lunch from home and just pop out mindlessly and grab something that I really do not want.
I really do have to work on this.

I am also waiting for TOTM to arrive so that could also be the issue and when I injected last week with a tiny needle I did not feel that the MJ was working.

SW 13st 4Llbs
CW 10st 6lbs 2 pound gain
TW 9st

Puddingpiper · 14/06/2025 09:04

@TryingMJive had the opposite problem with a lack of movements and definitely solid

Aboutmeabouttime · 14/06/2025 09:20

Hi everyone! Thanks for the new thread :)

Week 13 complete and 2lbs loss means 2 stone gone (little happy wiggle!) was so hoping to make it this week!

SW: 13st 7
CW: 11st 7
GW: 10st 7 (which is beginning to feel possible and would be a BMI of 24.5)

Treated myself to some new bras… M&S 🤣 and now wearing clothing in sizes from 12-16 so it’s all a nonsense! At least with the hot spell coming I have some nice floaty dresses to wear and still swear by my snag chub rub shorts!

Mostly I am looking forward to putting on my wetsuit this summer and feeling better (as let’s face it very few people can pull off looking great in a wetsuit). Sadly not the Greek islands (is someone going there? 🤪) but Suffolk 😆🐷

Whatever you are up to, happy Saturday all!

GameOfJones · 14/06/2025 09:32

@TryingMJ mine are definitely "looser". Although because I suffered from constipation for the first month or so that's been a welcome change as I'm back to going every day. But rarely solid so you're not alone!
