Thank you for allowing me to rant, share our ups and downs. Our group blows my mind of how we are so supportive of each other.
Some of us are now hitting the 12 week mark, some of us are nearly at their goal, some halfway and some still have a way to go, but we are all losing even if it’s half a pound a week. We have all come so far and are making a difference to our health.

I was just looking at Shotsy - I think there is a mistake. I jabbed on Tuesday 10mg and it says yesterday over 19.

does anyone know if I can adjust something to correct it? I couldn’t have got more than 10mg in!

attached to show what I mean.

@PoundsLost I’m not sure exactly how it works, but you can definitely have a level higher than what you injected - not everything from the previous shots is gone by the time you jab next. I’m on Wegovy, but when I look at my levels a day before the jab, they grow with every week, meaning there’s cumulatively more semaglutide in my body week on week if that makes sense. For example, I jabbed with 0.65mg and two days later my levels are over 1mg.

think it’s because the level increases with each jab as only 50% disappears after 5 days.

did my third 7.5 last night and my level is just under 10 and will go up to just over 10 later today. Last week it peaked just under 10

so I think the longer you on the jab and higher the doses the more is in your system after jab ? Have a look at the graph

Just catching up with all your successes! Well done everyone, can't believe some of you have lost over 3 stone since March!

I think I am experiencing a 5mg plateau with my current pen (number 4). My suppression has almost disappeared these last two weeks, and have actually put on 1lb in last 3 weeks. I had a video call booked with Oushk on Friday anyway, so had a chat about that. Was advised that I could try jabbing every 5 days for last two shots of current pen. Giving that a bash, so jabbed yesterday instead of waiting for Friday.

Definitely going up to 7.5mg for next pen.

SW 14.11

Total loss 1stone 10 lbs

Not one single person has noticed (except DH who knows I'm on MJ). Gutted at weekend, as wanted to buy a couple of new outfits, and had to still buy an 18 dress! FFS!

Crepey neck still looking horrendous. Have tried Retinol and collagen, not made any difference. Has anyone tried Boost Labs? It keeps popping up on my fb. Have also seen Trinny Elevator being advertised, but it's nearly £70 which is over my budget unfortunately.

BLOODY DPD!!!

FIrst delivery problem and I am so cross. It should have been delivered on Tuesday which gives me 2 days of grace before using it on a thursday night.

DPD update on monday saying arriving 11am-12pm Tuesday.
Tuesday 10am update to say the courier (named) is running late but will be delivered by 3pm.
Another update at 12.30pm saying delayed and then app says it will be delivered Wednesday but no timeframe.

Come wednesday morning it says the same.

Come wednesday afternoon it stops saying it will be delivered wednesday and just says delayed.

Went back through my provider (Juniper) and sent screenshots of the various messages on the DPD app and they apologised and investigated. To be fair, the first reponse was only a couple of hours later and told me DPD said there had been an 'issue' with the package and were running an internal investigation.

Overnight I get another update saying it wasn't going to be delivered and so Juniper care had instigated a new pen. It will be dispatched today and arrive in the next couple of days.

I can't fault Juniper customer care. They dealt with things as quickly as they could under the circumstnaces.

But I am so cross because I do the shot on a thursday night to minimise side effects but also to maximise effects over the weekend. I am on 10mg.

WHat do you think I should do?

  1. Just take it as soon as it arrives, even if that is in 3-4 days and make that my new shot day going forward
  2. Not take it this week at all and wait until Thursday as normal but risk being off for a week and risk higher side effects when i eventually take it again (is that a thing?)
  3. Take it as soon as it arrives and then the next few weeks slowly work backwards to a thursday. How would I do that?

Any suggestions welcome.

seasidehunter · 19/06/2025 12:48

@needtolose70lb I'd take it as soon as it arrives and then work on readjusting your injection day back to Thursday over time (depends how late it arrives as to how long that would take). I have always had my injection day as Sunday evening but I'm moving it forwards to Friday morning ahead of my holiday in a couple of weeks time (so I can jab before I go and not take pen with me) - just means jabbing every 6, rather than 7, days for a couple of weeks.

needtolose70lb · 19/06/2025 13:00

OK perfect, thanks @seasidehunter . Sounds like a good plan.

seasidehunter · 19/06/2025 13:03

@needtolose70lb I've also had a delayed delivery with DPD with some weird message about packaging. Although they did actually deliver it eventually, rather than my supplier having to send a new one. However, since then I've adjusted my ordering a bit to make sure I have the next pen in good time ahead of when I'll need it.

Amjam2025 · 19/06/2025 20:14

@needtolose70lb that's a pain! If it were me, I'd take the pen as soon as it arrives and then jab every 6 days until you get your day back to Thursday. I've seen comments from others saying jabbing every 6 days actually gives optimal effects ( i think thats according to studies/research) but we are told to do it every 7 just because it's easier to remember so im sure you'll be fine. But Juniper sound supportive so you could always drop them a line and double check.

soupforbrains · 19/06/2025 20:28

@needtolose70lbI’d do as the others have said. Just jab as soon as you receive it and then shift the day when you can. It’s incredibly straightforward to do a 6day week so it will only take you one or two weeks to get back on track.

I’ve not experienced dpd delivery for my MJ but I’ve got significant concerns about EVRI. Despot the fact that the packages have a huge label on the outside which screams NOT TO BE LEFT ON DOORSTEP. As well as others which say temperature controlled medication. Twice now the evri delivery driver has knocked the door, left it on the doorstep and fucked off.

I know this because I’ve been at home at the time, but the delivery driver doesn’t know this. Both times I was unable to rush to the door as I was on work calls so I was slow to the door and the driver was pulling away in her van by the time I got to the door. I’ve complained both times it happened but I’ve had zero response from EVRI about it. Obviously it’s not a big deal because by chance ive actually been at home so it’s not sat on the doorstep all day so I’ve not complained to Lloyds yet but I will if it happens again.

soupforbrains · 19/06/2025 20:34

Oh. I got distracted by my rant about the delivery driver and forgot what I’d originally come to post.

I live as a preach in terms of the food is not a moral choice and no foods are good or bad we just have to be balanced in our eating etc. but today I have royally screwed my balance. The weather has been so beautiful and after having my favourite delicious salad for lunch (with protein) this afternoon I decided to have a treat with my son and we got delicious ice creams. They were so good and cooled us down nicely in the stagnant heat of the afternoon BUT I’m now so full I don’t think I’ll be able to eat anything at all so around half my calories consumed today are going to be delicious but non nutritional. 🙄

it dawns on me now that this is why we usually eat dessert AFTER our main meals. 🤭

Thank you. I guess my slight fear is getting hooked on a 6 day window then stretching back to 7 but I’m sure it will be fine.

i can see that DPD are now awaiting the new parcel so fingers crossed I get it tomorrow or Saturday which would be a lot better than Monday or Tuesday!

Evri are bloody awful!! They give such insane time targets to delivery drivers that there is no wriggle room at all for even ringing a bell.

thanks for adding to the 6 day plan comments. Sounds like it should be quite straightforward.

GiveMeWordGames · 19/06/2025 21:02

@soupforbrains I gave into ice cream temptation today too. 😂

These delivery tales are BAD! I've yet to find a consistently reliable courier firm and in the 15 odd years we've lived here I've lost track of the many stupid places things have been left/dumped nowhere near my house. Even Royal Mail once just left a supposedly signed-for parcel on the doorstep of same number house in similarly named road (think Acacia Avenue versus Acacia Drive etc). At least their helpful geolocation dot lead us to it. 🙄

All of this is why I get my MJ in person otherwise the monthly stress would be unreal.

Fatmumslim01 · 19/06/2025 21:14

@needtolose70lb hope your get your delivery and jab day sorted! I've also read that it was meant to be every 6 days but they'd said 7 for ease.

I started off with Asda as I was worried about the delivery thing but so far my post ones have been left in the porch and not needed signing for. I think if we didn't have a porch I would habe continued with the Asda collection in person thing. Going to have to seriously consider what I'll be doing for delivery long term as I'm hoping to stay on MJ for life basically and we won't always have a handy porch 😂 we are hoping to move house in the next few years and literally one of my things is it needs a porch and utility room otherwise what to people do with all their parcels or maybe people buy less than me 🤣

Speaking of days for injections I jabbed a day late this week (sat rather than Fri) so don't know whether to go back to Fri or stick with sat or move to Sunday. I started on Fridays so I would have high suppression over the weekend when we tend to have more treat food but I'm actually missing joining in with weekend treats so maybe move it to sun, but that means waiting 2 extra day's this week, decisions decisions 🤣

Puddingpiper · 19/06/2025 23:49

@AgnethaFi am a self confessed Trinny addict I will say that all her products I have used are amazing. I buy a lot of Vinted as they are brand new but about 20-25% cheaper. From memory the retinol takes a few months and collagen at least 4 weeks before you see any subtle difference. Your provider sounds very flexible btw.

Outsidebeanshop · 19/06/2025 23:59

Oh my goodness I’m so disorganised! I have jabbed my last shot from 5mg (I started mid-March but have stayed on 2.5 and 5 extra weeks) last night and went to order next pen and a) it’s going to take over a week and b) my local Asda doesn’t seem to be doing it anymore and no other Asda is handy enough! So I think I’m going to have to revisit who I go with - any recommendations for fast approval? Preferably so I can pick up as DH doesn’t know I’m on it and I won’t be at home to take cold delivery.

LilyLondon · 20/06/2025 00:25

@needtolose70lb I’ve jabbed every 8 days to move my injection days around travel plans, I’ve not noticed any difference to 7 day gap - so that could be an option for you if you’re too worried about getting used to a 6 day gap?

popdepop · 20/06/2025 06:11

Morning, very busy week so not caught up on thread. Weigh in day, W 14 D 1
21.3.25 16 stone 11
CW 14 stone 2
GW 11 stone initially
total loss 2 stone 9 pounds

Happy with that. I haven't done any exercise other than walking but will. NSV not out of breath going up stairs or having to hold handrail down to take pressure off knees. Back much better. Can tie shoe laces.
Size 14 fits but not bought new clothes. I still look overweight and don't feel how I look reflects the weight loss. Want to get into the 13s ASAP which will feel a huge milestone.

Have a great day all

MrsAlwaysRight · 20/06/2025 07:25

Anyone else plateauing at a similar weight to they've previously been? For a very long time I used to be around 12.7. Currently 12.5 but struggling to drop. I have read that other people have had similar and it's like the body remembers previously being at that weight.

I'm on 5mg and would prefer not to up my dose yet but wondering if I need to, to kick start things again. My suppression is still pretty good but I have noticed that a few times sweet treats have been more appealing and I've given in whereas before my interest in treats was massively reduced.

I strongly suspect that I'm back at the weight I was for a long time before lockdown and menopause whacked another 2 stone on. I don't know for sure because I didn't weigh, didn't even have scales.

I'm fitting into clothes that I was last comfortable in around 2019. It does feel like squeaking under 15 stone is going to be hard work. And similarly still on 5mg.

Yes I’m definitely plateauing on this pen. Hovering between 13.1 and 13.0 last three weeks.

suppression not great recently either. Oushk have said I can jab every 5 days for the remainder of this pen (2 jabs). Then I’m moving up to 7.5.

feel the last pen has just kept me in a “holding area” of not progressing. Time to change it up again!

That’s interesting regarding Vinted. I will have a look. Never bought toiletries as worry they might not genuine.

I did a while ago -stayed the same for 3-4 weeks but then started losing again - did nothing different except maybe up water slightly but it was a point I can remember being at a long time ago.
Keep going and it should start shifting again :) good point is I read if it's a bit of a fixed point for you it'll also be harder to go above it in future - fingers crossed that's true haha

seasidehunter · 20/06/2025 09:10

@MrsAlwaysRight I plateaued for 3 weeks just above 11st. This was the weight that I never used to go above (until the pandemic, perimenopause and bereavements all came along one after another) - is a BMI of just over 25 and I'd often hit it just after xmas and then get rid of about half a stone again relatively quickly to bring me back below BMI 25. I didn't change anything diet/MJ wise during my 3 week plateau, just kept going and finally got some lbs off last week to bring me below 11st. It might be slow going from here because this does now seem like a weight range that my body sits comfortably at, but I'm okay with that. I would like to get closer to 10st but we it might take a little while. I'm not upping my dose because I feel like I've got a good balance of diet, side-effects, and I'm still making progress with the weight loss (albeit slow).
