Hi! I have been ravenous this week (in comparison so how I have been)! I had been on 3.75mg for 4 weeks and this week would have been my 5th week on that dose, but I have been so hungry that after a few days, I injected a second time for a top up dose of 1.25mg to take me up to my first week on 5mg. Not had much in way of side effects except a little bit of nausea last night but apart from that I’m fine. Next injection is due on Thursday. I have also hit my 10% weight loss and as a result seem to have hit a plateau over the last 3 weeks.

I have been counting calories since i started on MJ, aiming for a max of 1700 cals per day. This week I’m averaging 1900 per day, so still in a deficit just not as big a deficit as I’d like. This is the first time I’ve had food noise and feelings of hunger since August and it’s really thrown me tbh.

Good suppression today. Bit of nausea but better than previous weeks. Should really have ordered a new pen by now but holding out a little longer trying to line up delivery with when I’ll be at home. I’ve still got at least one more dose in the pen so should make it. Going to order a 5mg again, but keep at 3.75mg per week for now, maybe increasing by 5 clicks per week. Still a little bit scared of the full 5!

Turned down chippy fish & chips tonight. Used to love it but the thought of it now doesn’t appeal at all. Must get out and do a proper food shop though, running low on ‘good’ choices can still send me towards convenient sugar and carbs, so I need to keep that in check.

Had a little browse through Vinted and ‘favourited’ lots of things but didn’t order. Don’t think I’m brave enough to order the next size down yet, even though my existing clothes are looking saggy. I’ve been a size 20 forever, and even though that feels too big (in my existing clothes) I can’t believe that I’d get in an 18 either. Suppose I should go to a real shop and try things on, but got a busy couple of months ahead so goodness knows when I’ll get round to it.

I've got no appetite at the moment. I don't think it's mj related this time, more likely whatever virus I have brewing. Been sweating all day (apologies to neighbour who probably saw me wandering around the house in just socks but they really shouldn't have been looking right at the window). Throat feels scratchy and generally feeling crap.

Had to resort to protein powder today as all I've felt like eating is toast and menthol sweets.

@SammySays sounds like you need to go to 5

Many of us aug are on 7.5 and going up each month

Many on 5 but losing and supression

You seem to be on a too low lose dose imo

@ChunkyMunky if everything is super loose I'm sure the 18 will be fine and if it's snug it'll fit soon enough anyway. Get buying!

@ChunkyMunky I'm the same, I'm putting off trying on the couple of things I've bought in case they don't fit but realistically I think they will. I've been exactly the same on Vinted 🤣 I've only bought leggings because I know they will definitely fit! I really should up the weekly dose but instead I'm doing 2.5mg every 5 days (just started) I have a 5mg pen in the fridge.
@poppym12 that sounds really awful, mind keep your fluids up, get better soon 🙏

@SammySays I think you should move up too, I'm in between too and decided to shorten my days between doses. I'm really sensitive to MJ so I don't want the side effects i had before.

Thanks again for everyone that welcomed me yesterday to the thread and everyone is so right when they told me that the threads move so quickly that it's hard keeping up !!! My plan for today was that I would spend a couple of hours this morning around my plans for the day to read from page 1 but WOW, woke up and now there is another thread .... !! 😂 So i may have to ditch my previous plan and catch up slower than originally anticipated ! BUT appreciate the welcome overnight from others too....

Official weigh in day today : 1st full week on the full 7.5mg dose; even though I had gained yesterday 1lb I seem to have lost that overnight plus a tiny bit extra so my weekly loss from last Wednesday is at 4lb !! Happy with that... but the thing that got me more this morning was that on my app my BMI is now under 40! I know its only slight at 39.8 but I'll take it !!!! It started at 46 so am grateful...

I'm finding the side effects managable, but tbh I have felt SO cold throughout the journey so far.... and it doesn't seem to be subsiding whatsoever.. increasing if anything! Anyone else feel the same?? I am honestly not looking forward to the harsh winter months ... 😓

Medexpress keep emailing me saying buy but as we are all using the extra dose as our 5th week im now like a month behind

I think I will go for a 10 as don't seem to have suppression with 7.5

But I did at 10 when double dosed

@Changinghabits1973 the coldness is a reoccurring topic on these threads so you're definitely not alone in that side effect! Invest in an Oodie and a hot water bottle and you'll be fine. Well done on the weight loss

@Changinghabits1973 I'm so used to walking in woods etc. I wear noise cancelling headphones so to be fair I'm pretty easy pickings to sneak up on 😳😂

@NippyCrab I'm another 2.5 weakling. I am so surprised by the strong effect this stuff has had on me at what is supposed to be the loading dose!

Almost a week into my first 7.5mg jab & apart from feeling really tired the first couple of days I feel guilty for having to say that I have no other side effects. I’m so sorry to all those who are suffering. I honestly thought I’d be that person before I started, it’s come as a real surprise that I feel ok.
Felt thinner when I woke up this morning, so sneaky weigh & I’ve lost another 2lbs since Friday- crazy! I’ve not done anything different from the last few weeks, same calories etc… only thing different is that I’m on a higher dose.

@WitchDancer thank you... makes me feel slightly better that its a common side effect - the only time i feel warm is when i am in the steam room at the gym!! Good idea about getting an Oodie - hopefully they don't have a dress code in Tesco's'/Aldi/Lidl as I think i will be wearing it when i get one every single day 24/7 ! Hope you're ok ..xx

Well done @Glittermoonlight you must be chuffed..
It's weird when you lose when you least expect isn't it but such a boost.. it's when the scales go up but you're doing everything right when it feels like a blow but I feel like I have got my head round that at the minute.. have to keep remembering it's a marathon and not a sprint and I am not going to wake up next Wednesday and be a size 10 !!
I would love the 7.5mg to be my sweet spot but only time will tell over the next few weeks I guess.. I'm only on my first week of it.. xx
