poppym12 · 23/10/2024 14:52

Some sort of virus I think @MargoLivebetter. Might be covid I suppose.

Glittermoonlight · 23/10/2024 15:01

Stunning beach photo @NippyCrab. Gosh - you have so much will power to go 2 weeks without weighing yourself, curiosity always gets the best of me!!
So sorry @poppym12 you’re feeling so unwell today, can you try sipping on iced water? It’s really horrible feeling so ill- 🤗💐

MargoLivebetter · 23/10/2024 15:04

@poppym12 there are so many bugs doing the rounds. Most of my extended family have been ploughing their way through Covid. My boss is hacking his lungs up in the room next door and the tube is a like a festival of sneeze and sputum. Keep drinking, even if you don't want to. Can you conk out or are small people or work depending on you to keep functioning?

weaseleyes · 23/10/2024 15:06

Poor @poppym12, you have been through the mill with horrible symptoms from all directions!

I've still no intention of buying new clothes for months so as not to waste money, and most things are still fine - just in a somewhat roomier way. I do usually wear fairly loose stretchy trousers (like straight legged joggers) and whilst my enormous spare tyre is doing a great job of holding them up in general, they have become rather baggier around the waist so that I resemble a flower pot. I have just solved this by buying a very cheap stretchy belt so I can gather them in until the day I have to capitulate and buy more trousers (hopefully nicer ones several sizes smaller in a few months time). I am very pleased and less anxious about comedic trouser incidents in public.

NippyCrab · 23/10/2024 16:29

I don't know if i can do it yet 😂 but having stayed the same the last 3 weeks is it? I'm not depressing myself. I did say i would wait until the end of the month but I don't think I could go that long.
Remember those paper cutters you got at school, like a guillotine but with a slider? I wish I could get my belly flap in it and slice that baggy bit off, it's annoying 😅
I love the beach and the sea, it's mesmerising depending on the weather is think.
I'm going to have an omelette tonight with some Aldi skin on fries, they are the best fries ever. I've not had fries since I started MJ. I've got the notion after DH sent me what the boys were having on site for their tea, with chips 🍟
Sorry I've not tagged everyone, I'm shattered and I will end up tagging the wrong person haha x

NippyCrab · 23/10/2024 16:42

I hope this isn't too weird. I have a Tog24 light fleece in an 18 that's hardly been worn. It was waterproof but ive washed it and not re proofed it so it can be done. If it would tide anyone over for a wee bit over the colder weather I'm happy to post it. I dont want anything for it. It can be a top layer or under a gilet for extra warmth. PM if it would do someone a wee turn. X
It won't let me add the front image haha arghhh

Glittermoonlight · 23/10/2024 11:00

@Blondeshavemorefun I’m definitely hungry by days 6/7 also. In fact all the way through I wake up & plan ahead what I’ll be eating for the day, how many calories etc… I have to have a plan otherwise I’m afraid I’ll just grab something unhealthy. I still haven’t got to the stage where I don’t think about food at all like some people. But I do think very carefully before I eat & what I eat, so that’s a giant improvement.

I am quite similar @Glittermoonlight. My thinking about food has become more ordered if that makes sense.

Timetochange24 · 23/10/2024 18:21

Me too @Motnight - even if I'm not very hungry, I'm making decisions based on nutrition rather than nibbling absolute junk all day like I normally would.

I've just had dinner - a protein and fibre extravaganza 💪 - and I'm very full. I've also just watched the bake off so one half of my brain is shouting at me to get some tasty profiteroles, but the other half is calmly saying "that would be stupid, you've had dinner and you're already full."

SammySays · 23/10/2024 18:38

@Blondeshavemorefun @NippyCrab yes def think 5mg is my new dosage for a while! I have increased my exercise this week so feeling hopeful about my next weigh in.

Is anyone using shotsy or could suggest a similar app? I’ve downloaded as I was curious about the feature telling you how much medication is in your body at any one time, but at £8 per month it seems a bit steep! Is it worth it?

AdeloreSmore · 23/10/2024 18:58

Hello shiny new thread ✨️
I got home and settled to catch up on everyone's days and then thought 'Its bloody jab day'! How could I have forgotten ffs!
Anyway that's my 3rd 7.5mg in my belly and will weigh in, in the morning. Think only a lb this wk, but that's OK. Considering sticking with 7.5 for a further month, will decide next week.
I was gonna swap to a cheaper supplier this time, but I now see Pharmacy2u are offering 20% off for repeat users - anyone used that code yet and know if it works??
The fog was beautiful as I drove past Stonehenge early this morning - was looking down on a layer of cloud. I love Autumn 🍂 And I also enjoy the photos, thankyou

Fortunately my dependant is all grown up and we don't live together so no one is nagging me for anything. I've slept for most of the day and lay down for the rest of it.

I do feel a bit better tonight so I've had a few oven chips and some hummus (husband was having oven chips and I CBA to do anything else).

I'm definitely going to take it easy as I have asthma - really don't want a chest infection to develop - and ME which often means that something usually brushed off in a couple of days can flatten me for a fortnight.

Glittermoonlight · 23/10/2024 20:27

@Timetochange24 & @Motnight exactly the same for me, my diet is the healthiest it’s been for many many years, I’m having a really well balanced diet, I’m eating 3 meals a day, but I’m being putting so much thought into each meal, & unlike other diets I’ve done in the past when I’ve included “treats”, this time I’m not doing that, at all, I’ve not eaten crisps, biscuits, cake or chocolate since I started. I’m loving my wholemeal bread. I just had a pear for my snack as I was feeling peckish.

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/10/2024 20:37

@AdeloreSmore how can you forget it's jab day 😂

Are they ? I hope all suppliers do this

I said on previous thread they should a discount for loyal customers

Mum0ntherun · 23/10/2024 21:50

@Blondeshavemorefun completely agree. I wish MedExpress would do that as they’ve been good but I’m considering a move next pen just to get a better price.

@Mum0ntherun That's how I feel

I've ordered 10 this evening

As didn't want the hassle of waiting /being approved /pics of another supplier

Esp as half term is about and I'm
Likely to be out and miss the delivery next week or week after depending how long new one would take

But think I might have to after

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/10/2024 22:36

And just had the email saying being dispatched so that was like 2hrs 😂

Assume will come fri or sat

mm81736 · 23/10/2024 22:52

I seem to have fallen off the wagon a bit the last couple of days.I have had a niggling back ache that has kept me from doing much exercise and I have been snacking too much too.
I am coming to the end of the second month on 5mg and I think I am ready for 7.5 now

mm81736 · 23/10/2024 23:03

Also I have moved from Numan who wanted £250 for 7.5 to Oushk for £159.When I told them they offered me £149 fir this month.I want to be with a,supplier who has consistently reasonable prices, not one that you have to threaten to leave to get their best price.

Timetochange24 · 24/10/2024 06:37

Morning all! Can anyone help explain what's going on here? If there hadn't been the big drop then big increase I just would have grumbled about sts. If it's at all relevant, after losing 10/11kg I think the signs are that I ovulated for the first time (that I've noticed) in a long time this week so I wonder if that might have affected what my body is doing with the energy and water I put into it?

NippyCrab · 24/10/2024 08:07

Morning all, it's still dark here urgh! @poppym12 how are you this morning?
@AdeloreSmore that would have been a fantastic photo to get at the stones. I love Autumn too.
I don't feel like anything this morning, had a coffee and a banana, there's a half an omelette left with lots in it so I'll have that before a walk for fuel.

MargoLivebetter · 24/10/2024 08:56

Crikey @Timetochange24 I have no clue! In all honesty, I'm not even sure I understood your post, but I am a bit slow on the uptake about graphs. Hate having to do sniveling pies or whatever those godawful pivot table things in excel are called.

Had a rage filled morning - I know it is only just coming up for 9am. To cut a very long story short, I had asked DS to do a job and he hadn't done it, so we both had to wake up super early to get it done before 8am today (it is builder related). Obviously, I wanted to batter him (as I've come to realise that there is a simmering wannabe boxer lurking inside of me). In the past I would have wolfed down copious amounts of buttery toast and jam to make all the rage go away. Today I allowed it to permeate every cell in my body and was a scary woman (but without any battering just in case people are concerned that I might actually thump anyone). DS got the job done pronto!!!!!
