@Desperatetimeshavetoend Please post this in the discount code thread, which is the only place where codes are permitted to be shared.

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/10/2024 10:43

@Desperatetimeshavetoend codes need to be on the referral thread

Well done on loss

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/10/2024 10:44

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/10/2024 10:46

I want /need something now at 1045

But won't

But having urges

Ahhhhhhhhh

Roll on Friday and jab

owlyboo · 23/10/2024 10:56

@NippyCrab @MargoLivebetter I do find it strange how it all affects us so differently I had loads of suppression on 2.5 but it dwindled as I was due to go up and that pattern has followed on every dose so far.

Thanks @Glittermoonlight final walk photo for my morning walk. Now this I was more scared of! They didn't even bat an eyelid just stared at me as I walked past! Well done on the 2lbs!

@Wingingit11 I regularly think this looks like I'm in a channel 5 murder drama... 😂

@weaseleyes especially now we're all smaller to spot!!

@Blondeshavemorefun hang on in there!! Jab day is round the corner!

@owlyboo just going to keep on thanking you for the outdoor pics! love that this is now part of our MJ journey :)

Glittermoonlight · 23/10/2024 11:00

@Blondeshavemorefun I’m definitely hungry by days 6/7 also. In fact all the way through I wake up & plan ahead what I’ll be eating for the day, how many calories etc… I have to have a plan otherwise I’m afraid I’ll just grab something unhealthy. I still haven’t got to the stage where I don’t think about food at all like some people. But I do think very carefully before I eat & what I eat, so that’s a giant improvement.

Wingingit11 · 23/10/2024 11:06

@Blondeshavemorefun baileys hot chocolate is so seasonal !

@lookathatbookcase ah I'm glad you like them! I'm always worried people are like oh for god sake she's uploaded another one 😂😂

To be fair @Glittermoonlight that's a very good
Place to be at for after MJ. I get massive food suppression so don't really think about food and 'have' to eat. So being in a place that you're considering what food to eat and when but without the food noise being overwhelming I would say sets you up brilliantly for post MJ!

lookathatbookcase · 23/10/2024 11:14

@owlyboo Given that we're all being (rightly) cagey about what our faces look like, it's nice to see some wildlife instead :)

SilverSprings510 · 23/10/2024 11:15

Morning all - gosh the last thread moved fast.
Weigh day for me and managed to shift the slight gain and then some - lost a lb this week. It’s week 6 on 5mg for me and I do think I will move up to 7.5mg after this pen inc bonus dose.

Weigh ins: -7, -5, -3, -2, -5, -5, -1, -3, -1 ✨
Total lost: 32lb/2st4lb/14.5kg

Again you could be my twin 😂

I don't think it's mj stopping me eating

It's me thinking fuck if I've spent ££££

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/10/2024 11:21

Well done @SilverSprings510

WorriedRelative · 23/10/2024 11:28

@desperatetimeshavetoend

It is really rude to come to a thread that isn't relevant to you, to ignore the discussion, fail to engage and just spam your unwelcome discount code.

Use the proper thread.

Whoyoutakingto · 23/10/2024 11:37

@Wingingit11
Thanks for starting the new thread. Amazing that almost 6000 post for us August starters have been written/read, what fantastic support thanks all.
@poppym12 hope you feel better soon, sounds like what I had a couple of weeks ago awful!
After worrying about moving to 7.5mg all yesterday I took the plunge and feel fine so far. Thanks for the hand hold everyone.

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/10/2024 11:53

Wingingit11 · 23/10/2024 11:06

@Blondeshavemorefun baileys hot chocolate is so seasonal !

I love it anytime

I don't drink coffee but it's lovely having at end of a meal

Changinghabits1973 · 23/10/2024 12:40

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/10/2024 09:14

4lb loss. That's amazing. Well done @Changinghabits1973

Medexpress keep emailing me saying buy but as we are all using the extra dose as our 5th week im now like a month behind

I think I will go for a 10 as don't seem to have suppression with 7.5

But I did at 10 when double dosed

@Blondeshavemorefun thank you... !

Do you mind me asking... you say you're on the 7.5mg same as me; how long have you been on this dose? If it's the first month, in your experience did you get the suppression etc from the first injection week and then closer to the end of the month it wore off? Or if this is not your first month, how many have you done?

When I was on the 5mg, my first month was amazing but then re-ordered the 5mg for the second month and after the first 2 weeks of month 2 it literally happened overnight and had no suppression, no side effects, food noise back greater than ever and was absolutely ravenous.... it was so weird when it had worked so well for the previous 6 weeks..

Motnight · 23/10/2024 12:56

Thank you @Wingingit11 😊

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/10/2024 13:32

@Changinghabits1973 this is my first month on 7.5

I have literally done a month on all and moved up

I don't really have any suppression and I eat 3 meals a day

I did 5 and bonus on same day so ended up with 10

All thought I would be poorly esp the 2.5/3.75 ers

But no side effects at all

That was the week I lost the most after a 3w plateau that was very painful for me and all on the thread 😂😂

On that I left half a breakfast and didn't eat all of tea on some days

But whatever dose I'm on - I jab Fri - I'm always more hungry /peakish wed and thur

I think I have one dose left on 7.5 plus bonus

I will order sat so gets sent Monday due to no post Sunday

I have been caught out before ordering wed/thur and missing it sat as been out - then in depot all weekend and finally get it Monday and not chilled

I do really feel that low doses do nothing for me where did some they literally can't eat all day or have a coffee and full up

I'm very envious of those people !!!

I'm hoping that 10 will be my magic number

weaseleyes · 23/10/2024 13:48

@Blondeshavemorefun your constitution never fails to amaze me 😀I'm one of those weaklings on a low dose (up to a mighty 4 now, I'll have you know). Apart from initially, and once when I crept up a slightly higher dose than usual, I've never had that total suppression you talk about though, I think that's quite uncommon unless people are having terrible side effects.

I do eat three meals a day, usually look forward to them and don't struggle to finish (though with my daughter currently away I am able to be pretty disciplined about what's in the house and what I prepare in the first place). I do quite often think wistfully about crisps or wonder if I fancy a drink or not, but so far I've been able to resist fairly easily. I do think some of this happens anyway when I'm in the going well phase of a diet as I've broken my compulsion to eat or drink certain things, but MJ has mainly helped me in moments when I might show more weakness. I've had the odd day or time when I felt randomly hungrier and it's reminded me that there is some suppression going on, otherwise I wouldn't feel that aware of it, but I think that would be underestimating the impact of MJ. It's definitely helping me potter along consistently instead of having to battle my urges as much.

I'm with you on the incentivising effects of it being so expensive, though!

poppym12 · 23/10/2024 14:02

Thanks (sorry, CBA to tag everyone).

I'm feeling grim. Food today has been a mint humbug and a solero lolly. I'm not hungry and not thirsty (very odd for me as I'm always thirsty). Can't face the protein stuff today either so I'll try to swallow some supplements later.

NippyCrab · 23/10/2024 14:09

@owlyboo that is so eerie, I'm laughing at the cows staring you out!

I love Baileys, and it was my wee MIL favourite tipple. We got her a glass that said Mummy Bears Baileys. On Christmas morning our first coffee would be with Baileys and cream on top 😋 we will still do it this year without the old soul.

I had a good walk today, my leggings and knickers are saggy I'm glad my jacket covered my bum, I'm tempted to weigh tomorrow but I've decided I will wait until Friday. DH is home for his 3 days then and I will weigh every 2 weeks when he's home. Unless I feel superly dooperly slimcia haha. I'm also going to convert into KG so I'm not as focused on the st and lbs.

Well done on the losses everyone
For those looking at switching to Oushk they have been fab with me, when I had a period of low mood the lead pharmacist called me and spoke to me about why this could be happening etc. I got sorted with my meds at my own GP but I really appreciated the way they personally gave me support like that.

I've rambled, sorry, tired now. Pic of the beach i was at today, its about a 20-25 min drive from me but so worth it, there's a variation of walks to do.

@poppym12 hugs, the lolly is good, some fluid anyway. Xx

Changinghabits1973 · 23/10/2024 14:18

@NippyCrab stunning pics - the beach looks great and hope you enjoyed it; being by the water always seems to make things slightly better -
I don't think i could go two weeks without weighing !! Will be slightly envious if you manage to do it - will take great determination from you ! When i first started I weighed on a Wednesday and Sunday - that was it and i stuck to that religiously - but over the past 3 weeks i have started to weigh every day as the curiosity gets the better of me - but if i have gained for some reason literally puts me in a right arse bad mood for the rest of the day - and the day started at 7am! I am going to try though to go back to the 2 days as before... or give my scales to someone to confiscate and I will just knock on their door when i want to retrieve them !! 😂😂

MargoLivebetter · 23/10/2024 14:23

Loving the walking photos @owlyboo and @NippyCrab . Cheers me up no end and I feel like a get a vicarious walk too!

@poppym12 how come you are feeling so grim today? Is it MJ related or something else unpleasant.

I ate fish one day past its best before date for my dinner last night and it did taste very 'fishy' for want of a better description, but I was desperate and the fridge was otherwise bare! Was very nervous I might have poisoned myself, but so far so good.
