Hi all, hope you don’t mind me dropping in! I’m from the October thread..

I just wondered what week you all reorder your pens? I’m thinking week 3. Thanks so much!

They recommend after their jab. But it doesn't usually take long to come so can wait a little longer especially if you're using the golden dose! Hope it's going well.

After that jab not their!

@owlyboo haha can totally relate to wearing whatever when working home! That was the only reason I didn’t need a new wardrobe when I gained the weight! Hope you manage to find a lovely dress for Halloween!!

@Blondeshavemorefun yes, starting 10mg properly next week and can’t bloody wait! Looks like I’ll end up at 15mg at this rate!! How was 7.5mg for you?

@poppym12 no problem. I struggle with regulating my body temperature sometimes too. But since watching that, any time I sweat now I tell myself I’m losing weight! lol

@MabelSpan that sounds really scary, I’m glad you made it through that okay. It’s seriously concerning that’s a side effect of this medication, we shouldn’t have to choose between our physical & mental health

@HansHolbein I tend to jab Fri but I order usually mon/Tue so that it will arrive thur /Fri so that I don't miss them say and sit in depot melting Sunday

And yes I usually order 3rd week so mine is coming Tom with jab 4 but still have a weeks grace with bonus

@eeeeeeeee no real suppression tbh on 7.5. Odd day have b at 11 so no lunch and tea 7/8 so 2 meals but usually have 3

I'm hoping 10 will be my number

I've one think one sts and two small losses on 7.5. Weigh in ton and jab 4 and hope for a loss but who knows - will be peeved if a sts again

Thanks @eeeeeeeee here's hoping. It's the first time I've gone shopping in years that I'm quite excited about it... hopefully it doesn't disappoint! Going with my mum though as sees being super lovely and supportive over my weight loss so I know she'll be a little cheer leader!

How do we get medical supervision then?! The NHS can't prescribe it, and isn't particularly knowledgeable when we go in to discuss side effects (of which there are many). So the only supervision we have is a tick list and a photo. I thought I was looking pretty good in my pen 3 photo (size 14 jeans are getting baggy on my short little still-obese frame) and no questions were asked. The calendar behind me in my pen 2 photo was a month out of date and nobody questioned it, just took my money and sent a pen.

Articles like this are just going to make people more judgey about weightloss medication, but the system isn't doing anything to help so we all have to pile in to online prescribers and be criticised alongside the healthy weight people who are putting themselves at risk by lying.

its a burp that really strongly tastes like the smell of sulphur…..very chemically and it’s horrible xxx

Thank you to whoever it was posted the Oushk discount code . I’ve just ordered with them (was Medexpress before) It’ll be my 2nd 5mg pen. Been slow loss, but supression very strong so struggling to eat 1200 cals a day,
No side effects to speak off , hoping to see 11 on the scales tomorrow!

Weigh in this morning and .5kg loss. @Blondeshavemorefun after bonus dose next week I'm going up to 10 with you and the others. Fingers crossed for everyone else but as this thread shows we are all doing amazing and we have support from each other.

my losses are really slowing but I guess that’s to be expected given how long we have all been at this. 13 weeks I think now - a quarter of a year! Hurrah 😄

@owlyboo - let us know how the shopping trip goes! I have managed to find one brand new rain coat from 5 years ago sitting in my wardrobe and 4 pairs of boots (2 never worn) that now fit. I am still wearing my normal sized clothes - obviously they were a lot tighter on me than I thought 🤔 Although I have bought a couple of tops in smaller sizes. I think that I have lost around 20 lbs, just bought some new scales so will be able to start charting my weight loss accurately from Sunday on.

A quarter of a year! That's a great amount of time for us all to be living more healthily!

Yes really cold, like ice is running through my veins! I have noticed purple hands.I used to have Raynauds at primary school, and I think it's come back!

Oh @NippyCrab I'm so annoyed for you! I was manifesting a loss for you. How bloody annoying. I'm not even going to bother with the 'it's just your body holding onto bla bla blah' and it's annoying and you're allowed to be annoyed and have a flounce!

@NippyCrab so sorry for sts. I think you need to increase your dose but equally I get you are a sensitive shell and struggle

But think how well you have come

Honestly @owlyboo it's making me think what's the point, I've looked at my chart and it's 4 weigh ins at sts ffs!
I can't let this tip me off the wagon. We are heading shortly for a good walk with climbing hills so that will burn some flub.

I agree, instead of 2.5 every 5 days I need to up the dose. I'm going to be a big girl and do the hard click bonus dose on Sunday then work out what dose won't knock me out. X
