Mounjaro October starters

Hi,
I've taken the plunge and ordered Mounjaro through MedExpress. My prescription was accepted today and as long as it arrives in time I plan to start on Thursday (my birthday is on Wednesday 😂😂). I thought I would start a thread for any new starters if anyone is interested 😊

@Rockfordpeach I’m a late September starter (and on that thread) and I’m on day 4 of week 1 but just wanted to come and give your thread a bump, wish you good luck and a happy nearly birthday. :)

I've not ordered it yet or decided where to get it from but planning on sorting it this week and starting next Sunday so I'll join!

Approved yesterday for Mounjaro from zava my bmi is 35 😩

Will be great to start this alongside others, feeling a bit nervous!

I ordered from MedExpress with a discount code, got it for £113 with postage and packaging

My first injection is due to arrive Monday night so I’ll start then before bed in hopes it helps the side effects.
Looking forward to going on this journey with you all.

Will anyone be following any sort of diet whilst on the injections?

I'm going to be calorie counting with nutracheck, my friend who is on it advised high protein foods

I started a month and a half ago, and some of my incentive was "if I start now, I should see some results by my birthday..." and sure enough, I'm down almost 9kg.

I'll be an October starter! Ordered today from Curate, waiting approval and dispatch but hoping I will be approved- bmi of 35, 20st, dream is to lose 5 stone but I'd be over the moon with 3 stone!

Hoping I can join the journey! I've ordered on Thursday but still awaiting approval. BMI 29.5... really wanted to start at the beginning of next week

@cakewench my birthday is in 7 weeks and that's my exact thought process! I don't want to go into another year of my life still struggling with my weight.

@Rockfordpeach how long did your MedExpress take to approve? Just trying to work out when to do it ready to start next weekend!

Literally ten minutes. I placed the order, uploaded my picture and ID and got an email ten minutes later saying my prescription was approved. It hasn't been dispatched yet but it's the weekend

Also a late September starter - first weigh in 9lbs off. Poping in to offer support.

Don't worry too much about your first injection - I built myself up for nausea, headaches, tiredness, insomnia air bubbles and immediate death (!) I've felt a little tired, queasy and burpy -& it's obviously different for everyone, but have felt fairly good all the way through. It's a tiny little needle. Barely a scratch.

How do you all manage delivery if you work full time? If I ordered and it got sent by RM I’d never be in for the postman and can’t pick it up till a Saturday morning because of their silly opening hours!

Hi - I'd like to join as I've just done injection 1 (2.5ml) and it's practically October

So far so good. Although I am quite tired (but that's not unusual for me).

I’m starting tomorrow evening, quite nervous about the side effects, but hopeful I can work through them.

Not quite October starter, had my first injection last Thursday, no side-effects, but seems to have started working, no longer mindlessly snacking

Now I've decided to do it, I can't wait to start. I really want the food noise to quieten down more than anything.

I've just started a degree with the open university. My dream would be to attend the graduation ceremony feeling confident and happy in my appearance. Short term, I want to be able to concentrate on my studies without being in a constant mental war with myself
