So in a few weeks time (1st September), it’s the start of meteorological Autumn. TheWeatherOutlook has some early thoughts about it here and Netweather’s thoughts are here.

Chilly is ok, endless wet days/storms ~ not wanted.

We're having 'orrible drizzly stuff at the moment so not sure we're going to get any storms today.

Typical, dull, drizzly autumn day here (Leicester) Think it's supposed to brighten up later.

I'm down in the south west and it's okay here. Slightly chillier than it has been, but sunny and a slight breeze. 18 degrees instead of 24/25

it’s not rained properly and is really humid but I see the forecasts vary wildly for the next few days

the flat is incredibly humid and claggy. I couldn’t sleep last night, went on the balcony and there was no air outside. It’s weird.

After all the rain yesterday it's humid here. I picked today to clean out cupboards. 🥵 I'm going to need another shower

We've gone from drizzle to heavy rain. I was going to wash the car this morning! 😆

Swear a heavy rain warning popped up on my phone this morning but it seems to have disappeared. Cloudy but quite bright here today.

RafaistheKingofClay ~ There's one issued by the metoffice here for tomorrow night into Thursday.

I think they must have adjusted the position because it normally only send me an alert if it covers here. When I went into the app there was nothing for here and I’m not under that yellow bit.

Sun is making an appearance for now so might nip out for a quick walk while it’s nice.

We're just outside of the weather warning so I'm expecting a fairly miserable rest of the week!

My rain warning is back. Tomorrow in particular looks pretty grim. Might need to get my daily recuperation fresh air and exercise in early.

Forecast changing every five mins here but the main thing is horrible humidity for at least a week. None of the forecast rain has appeared but I think it will tomorrow.

it’s so weird how the flat traps humidity even when it’s not hot outside. I can’t work out whether it’s better to have windows open or closed, am I just letting in more humidity?

Grey and rainy here and chilly enough last night that we lit the fire. My Facebook memories popped up this morning to tell me I was in London on this day a year ago and it was boiling hot! Rubbing salt in the would that is.
Local forecast not looking good for the next few days either.

Bit wet here. Might give the walk a miss today.

That's distinctly not what I expected - schools are back - where's the blast of warm sunny weather that should happen!

BBC weather saying 18c Ventusky 17c. I'm absolutely freezing, same as yesterday. It's more like 12c again 😡

No wind or rain, Ventusky says feels like 17c Bally liars. The cat won't get off my lap because I'm lying on the sofa under a rug, she's leeching away any heat warmth I'm producing 😀

Looks like it's going to be a nice-ish weekend. Looks ok tomorrow but there's going to be (mostly showery) rain overnight/during Sunday for the south/midlands.
