Autumn 2024

So in a few weeks time (1st September), it’s the start of meteorological Autumn. TheWeatherOutlook has some early thoughts about it here and Netweather’s thoughts are here.

Chilly is ok, endless wet days/storms ~ not wanted.

We were in the red in S Wales. Lots of
trees down in my town and in Cardiff nearby. Friends of ours had a large tree which fell from the street into their neighbour’s garden poke a few branches through their front window at 3am! Thankfully just smashed the glass and woke them up, nothing worse.

Given it’s not autumn anymore is that a winter thread?

It's not windy anymore. I can't hear anything out there 🍾.
