Amber thunderstorm warnings for northern Ireland, flash flooding likely. And three days of thunderstorm warnings in a row.

There's a lot of big trees round here that are at the limit of what they can stand, and the farmers are getting desperate (edge of East Anglia), bring it on.

The storms across Soctland looked quite impressive on radar.

We need steady rain, any storms hitting dry areas will just cause flooding and then go down the drains.

We've had some thunder up in the Highlands. Didn't last long and the rain has stopped. Almost like it didn't happen. A few places have flooded about an hour away from us.
Due to have more in the next few days I can't wait!

Just checked the met office and looks like wed is our best chance of a storm. Lower possibility for tuesday. Im in the SE and we desperately need a decent stretch of rain

Very jealous of anyone having a storm. Was promised one after last heatwave and it never arrived.
Right up until an hour ago met office app was forecasting one for tomorrow afternoon and Tuesday all morning but all gone now as have the forecasts of rain.

It's been thunder and lightning here for around 2 hours now - east Scotland.

No rain for the first hour or so where we are but lashing down now!

I'm in a very dry part of the SE. Looking at the forecast for the week there's not a huge amount of rain in there and not very high percentages, but we SO need it.

Not a drop of rain in Dublin. The radar showed a lot of rain heading our way but it never turned up.

We didn't get a storm in the end. The lightning (which seemed to be Blackpool way) moved into the Irish Sea rather than south.

Our forecast rain for the next couple of days has also gone, though we still have the yellow thunderstorm warnings.

Near East anglia here and desperately longing for a good stay drizzle followed by a cracking thunderstorm. If it could all be done with by Thursday that would be nice though, as we have plans 😎

The thunderstorm has pretty much went on all night here, with spells of torrential rain. Still a few rumbles of thunder now.

Can't say I'm looking forward to driving in it
