Can't promise that I'll be able to add as much as I usually do (not very well atm) so its quite likely I might miss stuff but I've added a few thoughts to that thread re the current set up and tis easier if I just keep it in one place.

OYBBK and Gloria, can you say where any more snow is likely to fall this week?

It's still there this morning but gone all slushy. Mr Snowman's carrotty nose lies forlornly in the snow.

Bah. It was belting down late last night (South Oxfordshire) and I had high hopes of it mounting up, as we only had an inch or so by then, but this morning it's already melting back. There's nothing on the trees already, and big circles of dripped-on grass under them. I can see the grass, which never really got covered. It was all too wet.

So much for the cataclysmic Snow Peril we were all expecting, courtesy of media hype.

The snow is goingto to be gone by tomorrow morning here good.....it makes me feel all cold looking at it and then i stay in the house and do far too much housework
