Can't promise that I'll be able to add as much as I usually do (not very well atm) so its quite likely I might miss stuff but I've added a few thoughts to that thread re the current set up and tis easier if I just keep it in one place.

I still PMSL that a sniff of a chance of snow and half of Hampshire jumps on the bandwagon You can tell it's a once a year event here!!

Yay! I'm about 4 junctions away

No snow here (West Yorkshire/Pennines) but 'light snow' forecast all day for Tuesday. I've lived up here for seven years and not once has the snow been light. It's either full on or nothing.

Little bit of sleet/rain at the mo but it's getting cold so will probably freeze.

Well according to my Facebook gang the roads are starting to look white north of Cardigan and the Preseli Mountain roads are closed. Guess which way I should be going in the morning?

OYBBK, have just seen your post about the gfs changing its forecast for next weekend. Noooooooo, I wanted snow!

What will be will be and all that with the job. On an interesting note, we live in a little natural amphitheatre on an estuary about half a mile from the sea, we just went out in the car and you can go literally 2 minutes away from the village in any direction and be in a blizzard whilst here it is mildly damp! We have a very cool little micro climate.

Not a flake here - I would quite like some though :) I miss living in the Alps. Might have to rethink the 'Life Plan' and do another season or six.

Another Hants person! We are right on the water and got barely any snow when EVERYONE got snow. But now I have a sled and some plastic skis for DS so we need snow please.

I have banned snow from anywhere immediately west of the Pennines. Sorry. My decision is final.
