I am currently reading Russsll Myers Catherine & William. Enjoying it but one thing that stands out is how the Middletons have never put a foot wrong.
Carole was not from an aristocratic background nor was Michael but they raised their kids not to put a step wrong. Kate also had embarrassing family members (Uncle Gary) but she still invited him to the wedding which was the right thing to do & it nipped the media scandal in the bud & took the wind out of any sails.. Meghan invited none of her extended family or her dad & it caused massive media speculation.
Kate was born for royal life & is a natural. Very proud of our future queen. Her parents did an amazing job.

Now she's back in the UK demanding the taxpayers pay for their security after saying she would never live here again.

How often has Meghan commented on security?

There was the Oprah interview, where there was the deliberate obfuscation between titles and security.

Has she commented since?

That doesn't excuse her for all the blatant lies she made on that Oprah interview and on Netflix. She is toxic. End of.

Just because we haven't heard much from her it doesn't mean her behaviour can be considered in the past.
It's great that we have all the video evidence from Oprah & Netflix of what she said. And her husband's crazy ramblings in Spare.
The press will never forget either.

You can't behave like that & try to then rehabilitate your public image & reputation. That's not the way it works

Exactly it's all there & never an apology given either. I am so glad William & Catherine are taking such a hard stance against them.

It's incredible & utterly humiliating for them to be here especially after boarding their freedom flight as private citizens, saying they will never live in the UK.. it's just all lies, lies, lies...

The whole thread is a total embarrassment. What's the word when a thread is started and titled for a completely different purpose than the title would lead you to believe.

Your posts OP are dripping with venom. I see threads all the time here criticising Meghan but this is a whole different kettle of fish.

Your comments and rationalisations are very rigid, OP.

I hate hypocrisy. I cannot understand how people can sell stories about their in laws & tell lies yet then expect to be allowed back into the folds of said family.
It's the chaos, inaccuracies & the refusal to take accountability. It's just not right especially if they feel entitled to taxpayers money.

It was certainly a surprise to everyone- hence all the threads on here. I confess I’m baffled by it and honestly never saw it coming.

Maybe time will tell.

William and Catherine are now close to the throne; their detractors are finding this difficult and so we have all the nonsense about the "saint" narrative, which is often claimed, never verified, and certainly never clarified!

It's completely hypocrisy.
