I am currently reading Russsll Myers Catherine & William. Enjoying it but one thing that stands out is how the Middletons have never put a foot wrong.
Carole was not from an aristocratic background nor was Michael but they raised their kids not to put a step wrong. Kate also had embarrassing family members (Uncle Gary) but she still invited him to the wedding which was the right thing to do & it nipped the media scandal in the bud & took the wind out of any sails.. Meghan invited none of her extended family or her dad & it caused massive media speculation.
Kate was born for royal life & is a natural. Very proud of our future queen. Her parents did an amazing job.

Also, calling her “African Chelsy” is just yuck. Talk about micro aggressions.

Amazing this thread is now going on about Chelsy whose relationship with Harry finished over 15 years ago. I am having trouble working out how she fits in to this Kate and the Middletons thread title.

Umm , not sure how to say this….I don’t normally think addressing a woman by her last name is an issue….however I do detect that you are using it about Meghan in a negative way, threads do meander but why are ham ( particularly Meghan) being introduced so early on?
I would have said nothing and left you to it but the introduction of Chelsey just tipped the scales.

I am wondering if Chelsy brought some party hats and party blowers from Party Pieces and the blowers didn't blow so she had to send them back and the Middletons felt so awful that they invited her for tea?

I am pointing out that Chelsy would have had no real understanding about the Royal Family as she is African but she coped no problem & never felt the need to go on Oprah or sell her story.

Also please explain what is "yuck" about Chelsy being from Africa? What a weird comment.
Markle's hamsters often try to defend her horrific behaviour by saying she's American & didn't understand the culture. My argument is that Chelsy is African but had no problem fitting into the Royal Family.

Pure class, also like Cathrine Chelsy came from a loving ,supportive, functional family who Harry loved to spend time with in Zimbabwe. He spoke very warmly of her family in Spare!

Both women would have had know knowledge of the workings of the Royal Family but Chelsy coped so much better & never uttered a bad word to the press about the Royal Family. She was also much younger than Markle & obviously much more mature to have been able to cope so well.
Chelsy was fabulous & would have been a great asset to the Royal Family had shr decided to stay around.

It's interesting to me that both of Harry's significant partners were from different continents Chelsy from Africa & Markle from America . Both women grew up without knowing too much about the Royal Family unlike Catherine who is English..

Markle's fanclub try to excuse her behaviour & lack of decorum due to her being from America but Chelsy is from Zimbabwe & had no problem fitting into royal life.
Markle being from the states has absolutely nothing to do with her complete lack of knowledge about royal life.

i am the last person who would be considered a fan of Meghan, however criticism of actions isn’t hate ( despite what has been said previously) but your posts are clearly dripping with hate of her and yes , the constant use of “ markle” when typing Meghan is no longer, does seem to be a purposeful insult.

She didn't want the Royal Life & all that came with it so she left & never once sold a story or said anything derogatory! She never tried to make money out of being Harry's ex or through her royal associations

Markle also left on the "Freedom Flight" saying they want to be private citizens & would never live in Britain again. Then went on Oprah & Netflix slating the royal family & making millions out of the connection.
Now she's back in the UK demanding the taxpayers pay for their security after saying she would never live here again.

A massive difference between Chelsy's behaviour & Markles.

To be fair to Meghan…we have heard hardly anything from her since they arrived in the U.K. , it appears to me it’s Harry who is desperate for taxpayer funded security anyway.
