I would want to wash my hand after touching m. She is constantly touching face, hair, nose, food, like h she sometimes has a distinctly sweaty, grubby look. I will never forget the sweat stains on the brown satin trousers, I had a beautiful pair of chocolate brown satin trousers and binned them after seeing that.

Pool pic:
What is the rope in the pic? Full length of photo.

I hadn't seen this pic of the sweaty satin trousers before and I'm uncomfortable seeing it rehashed. Choice of clothes, behaviour etc, yes, but a personal hygiene issue....bit below the belt.

I'm afraid so... 😂😂

Lovely legs by the way 😉😂

I can’t work out what I’m looking at

binkie163 · 05/08/2026 19:08

Not really it brings home how she has no idea about appropriate clothing or what suits her. Satin if you sweat a lot is not a good idea and as you say her sweat marks are below her belt.

https://www.dailymail.com/news/royals/article-16031485/Martha-Stewart-Meghan-Markle-UK-visit-King-dinner-party.html

Of course she was talking about it to anyone that will listen Martha! What else does she have to talk about? Business going down the pan, film production company doing nothing, charity arm of Archewell shut down. They literally have nothing going on in their lives and can only talk about the RF

Martha Stewart claims Meghan was 'talking about' her UK visit at party

Martha Stewart, 85, said she recently attended the event in California, which the Duchess of Sussex also went to, and the pair briefly spoke.

They do have the Afghan movie in the pipeline

Do they though? Like the Miss Haversham movie, Meet Me at The Lake are in the pipeline?

I'm now at the "pics or it didn't happen" stage now.

I must just be feeling very cynical today, but my first thought on seeing the t shirt slogan was very much along the lines of "nothing to see here! See, both completely in LOVE. Like newlyweds us. LIKE NEWLYWEDS, honest!" 🤷🏼‍♀️

BasiliskStare · 05/08/2026 19:16

For the avoidance of doubt , I do not have a vineyard , I do not sell wine. But I would have thought that unless you have a very special wine , trying to sell Californian wine to Australia or New Zealand , would be a bit coals to Newcastle. The shipping costs alone if you are a small , lower / mid price supplier must be somewhat prohibitive.

Oh it's from @DaisyDooley 's post earlier about marinading chicken or duck thighs 😂

I didn’t see the bit with the dogs on first watching, they are both definitely pissed. No class.

I just saw the bit with the dogs now too. These are two 'humanitarians' in their 40s? Why on earth would they want the world to see them behaving like bratty kids? Those poor dogs.

Just reporting what I was told!

I’m inclined to agree with you, I’ve been watching some very vintage telly recently through the magic of YouTube. There’s a few good programmes on Diana and fashion.

We tend to remember her in those awful frou frou numbers from her engagement and early marriage but she very quickly found her style and she was supremely elegant.

I love that she had short hair too, not enough of it about!

I totally agree with you I think Princess Di was a style icon in her later years. She also made a real difference in the causes she supported and wasn’t afraid to go the extra mile for them whether she broke royal protocols or not.

BasiliskStare · 05/08/2026 19:31

@MrsFinkelstein I'm with you on that. I am not saying in any way that those who have been married all of 8 years aren't utterly in love and aren't yet ready for "the deep, deep peace of the double-bed after the hurly-burly of the chaise-longue." but those dancing round the kitchen clips came across as a bit performative "look at us , so young and in love" Look I might be wrong and that might be how they are. I don't know them. But after the twerking video I simply don't know what to believe with those two. I do hope they're happy.

I know it’s pathetic.
They will be doing those awful lip syncing videos next

Harry seemed a bit disconcerted really. Perhaps the scales are dropping from his eyes.

StrawberryWasp · 05/08/2026 20:49

Wishing yourself happy birthday on social media is surely embarrassing?
Shouldn't she wait for others to wish her happy birthday?

Did anyone? Any of her friends?

And the photo is so staged and dated looking. That kind of insta look was around 10yrs ago now it's cringe and a much more natural reportage look is mainly used.

I can imagine dancing in my kitchen with my dogs with a birthday tiara the kids gave me on. What I can't imagine is my DH filming it. Unless I asked him to 'film me for insta' (which I wouldn't) he'd never think of it.

Harry was told to film her.
She danced for the camera.
She later went through the footage she'd made him record clipped it and posted it.
So much effort to package and sell her life it's sad and pathetic.

Fromhere1 · 05/08/2026 20:54

I agree with the above... I don't know anyone who wishes themselves a happy birthday on social media. Maybe just a thank you to people for wishing them a happy birthday. Definitely agree that Harry is told to hit the record button. It's just so odd what is picked to go public...trying to put hats on dogs?! They have this incredible platform that reaches so many and this is what they choose to share?

This is part of the problem, we all know how 'influencers' make a silk purse out of a sows ear.

Would that have been possible if comments are blocked?

Starryfifty · 05/08/2026 20:58

I'm a dog lover and I may be over sensitive but I hated seeing those dogs with hats and looking uncomfortable 😰

All her videos have this weird feature where you hear voices, grunts and giggles emanating from outside the frame. Really odd. You never see normal human interaction.

Well Martha isn't keen on her is she?

Starryfifty · 05/08/2026 21:28

M Stewart certainly doesn't seem to be a fan

Worriedmummy1244 · 05/08/2026 21:34

Helium balloons are terrible for the environment, we are quickly running out of helium and we need it for medical purposes not to mention the material of the balloons

savemydrawers · 05/08/2026 21:48

The next video will be them talking in funny helium voices.

It's from the same stable as calling themselves humanitarians and philanthropists, @StrawberryWasp ... all things which are better left for someone else to say (except they often won't because they're not) so maybe they think folk will be convinced if they say it themselves? Confused
