It's clearly meant to have a "wild and spontaneous" vibe, but it's been carefully set up and the photographer is there to capture just the right angle.

Also, didn't she post the pics at what would have been morning time in California?

So while I guess it's possible that she scheduled the photographer and did all the pre-posting editing early in the morning, chances are the photos were taken at least a day before her actual birthday.

And yes, as ever, noone there to celebrate the Duchess' birthday with her. Not even her beloved husband and children.

Well H filmed her dance so at least he had something to go that day 🙄

All of her "spontaneous" family fun photos look like catalogue shoots where the creative team has spent 6 months nailing down the details!

And are we meant to be impressed by that unappetising looking breakfast? Doughnuts and tomatoes? Yuck!

If I'm honest I can't get too worked up about what influencers post on their instagram - and I think that's what M mainly is now. So if she wants a photo jumping into a pool why not?

Where I agree with @Serenster is , this and more so the clothes merching at hospitals / Bondi doesn't sit entirely happily with the philanthropist / humanitarian side she also wants to promote. I know they need to earn money but keeping the one One-off of things completely separate to faux Royal / charity visits would , I think , quell a lot of criticism. The problem they have , in my opinion , without H being a Prince of the Realm , they don't have an awful lot, so the faux tours get them publicity, the constant drip of photos keeps them in the public eye,

They haven't scored a serious project in years, either individually or as a couple. I don't see why that would change now.

If they stuck to being influencers, that would be fine but they don't. There is a shadiness surrounding them. Ingriftus funds for example. Why haven't they clapped back over these questions? The entitlement, expecting public funding from a country they are so critical of. Too many to mention. That's what makes them both so odious.

Also I am inclined to think as an executive producer M won't have put too much money into this , more bringing publicity , so how much could they actually make out of this ? I think it keeps them being able to say they are film producers , but frankly if the films never make any money is that going to matter two hoots to any serious backers , in fact if they are the ones behind duds ( H's Polo doc, the Invictus doc , Live to Lead ) it can only lower their standing I would have thought. .
I read they had bought the rights to a book based on a memoir about a military operation in Afghanistan. But a proper feature film ( Unless NF take it up & even proper NF series / films cost a lot ) costs so much money - beyond H&M's means. I can imagine that being more the kind of thing which is commercial , but where they get the people to actually invest in it I don't know. The more duds they do , I would imagine , the more their judgment isn't taken seriously in the industry.

MM doesn’t want to be taken seriously by the BRF, she can’t be taken seriously by them, and Harry will be unable to make them be seen in any sort of official or public family setting with them.

The Diana cosplay photos were deliberate or a convenient coincidence imo. She’s done with them. The sorry “It’s Giving Mrs” video is a challenge to Harry: my husband or one
of them.

Im not well so im on about 50% productivity - I’ve made breakfast & lunch for DH, DD and my darling dog. I’ve walked said darling dog.
Ive early opened my birthday pressie which is a sous vide machine. I’ve rinsed off marinade from 6 duck legs , picked herbs from garden , put the legs in twos in magic bags which I’ve added duck fat, the herbs, homemade butter and put them in sous vide. I think I’ve set machine correctly but it’s just beeped so im not too sure. Hung out washing, done another load, started dinner prep, hoovered and watched some telly.
Im fucking amazing but I wouldn’t be seen dead in that t-shirt and I’ve never made a fruit rainbow or danced while husband films me. Suppose I’m not up to Mrs Sussex standards!!

Oh and since I feel bitchy -her legs with those giant feet are horrific. Diana had glorious legs. My duck legs look better.

@DaisyDooley I've tidied our one spare room for my SIL who is coming over from Tokyo and might be a wee bit jet lagged. I've got some chicken out of the freezer to make a Delia quick and easy recipe for this evening and I've confirmed I am going to help water the Church garden ( which is open to people in the day time who need somewhere to eat their sandwiches at lunchtime or just sit when they have no garden of their own ). I am a veritable Domestic Goddess and a philanthropist .

Sadly none of these things appear on Instagram so it didn't happen 😂

I'm just worrying about who is going to scoop up the deflated balloons from the water and the possible pollution issues they may cause. Hardly environmentally friendly.

I've just watched that video. It's just embarrassing. Two dogs rolling around on the floor, two bare feet . A weird t shirt and some embarrassing dancing. It says nothing at all. What a pair of absolute pillocks..
