I agree he wouldn't survive in the US alone but I don't think he would diss Meghan. He seems to have kept very positive about his exes from the past. What she would do is another matter. Perhaps they might both reach the conclusion that they are better off apart.

So if Netflix aren’t promoting WLM’s Emmy nomination, just who did nominate the show? 🤔

You can self nominate for a daytime award

Her team in fairness were good

Not sure Sasha (?) would agree !

I think the filming or lighting crew were probably good, but the rest of the Production team left a lot to be desired, particularly the post production team. As for the host, it was clear she does not have the personality for fronting a show, and I would hope the wardrobe team had nothing to do with choosing her outfits, they were so unsuitable, cooking in a white sweater with another sweater flung over her shoulder, heavily styled hair that was not appropriate for the type of show she was doing, everything about it was rightly panned. The only good thing about the daytime Emmy nomination is that it resurrects how terrible a presenter she is and how dreadful that show was.

binkie163 · 21/07/2026 08:57

I didn't watch the wlm show but saw clips. The raw chicken sitting on fridge shelf was horrific, hair dangling in everything 🤢 hands all over everything and touching her hair/face, jewellery in the food. All very unhygienic.
I remember the two fat ladies always having a hand up a chicken or mangling something with a full hand of rings but it was well known that they were drunk as skunks doing the show. Clarissa Wright Dickinson's autobiography was an eye opener!
The other thing I find odd is you never hear of ham throwing dinner parties, when is she actually doing any hosting? Other than re bagging pretzels for the kids.

I think he was very disrespectful to Chelsey D dragging her into his nonsense court case. Unless she gave her permission to do so. I really don't think he'll be respectful to Megs when they part

RepublicOfPirates · 21/07/2026 09:09

AccordingtoTaz on YouTube thinks Megan self nominated because the Eugine Levy programme featuring Prince William is up for a Prime time Emmy.

That is your opinion stated as though it is fact. . Many people disagree with you,

You mention the game against France. Had we been so far down at half time, we would have given up! So yes third place was fantastic, but we only just managed to stay ahead!

Which is also just your opinion 😊

bluegreygreen · 21/07/2026 09:49

Netflix'x Emmy summary page only refers to Primetime Emmy nominations

Netflix Emmy Nominations 2026

Dontevenlookatme · 21/07/2026 10:16

Does anyone really care about the Emmy nomination? If it makes them happy to have a trophy cupboard full of bought awards, no harm done.

I’m a lot more concerned with the campaign of UK bothering which seems to be their latest project. They’ve realised the US market is exhausted and are now looking at others. The failed Australia trip was one such effort, and now it’s our turn.

My view is that the only reason H wants to reconnect with C is to re establish his family’s place in the royal family for future exploitation, and to open the UK market for his wife’s products. I don’t believe there is any sentiment on his side at all, other than his own self interest. He wants the King to find a role for him that will unlock all the benefits of royalty, including worldwide security.

I understand completely C’s desire to reconnect with his son, but not one penny of public money should be committed to the process. Not one penny.

The big difference for me in a lot of things the Sussexes do is that there only seems to be forced, not genuine fun and enjoyment. The two fat ladies and also the hairy bikers did at least seem to be having a good time and there was a lot of spontaneity and joking. Meghan in particular always takes herself far too seriously or seems to be engineering the laughs, neither of which work in what is essentially a bit of frothy, easy viewing. She seems to even make watching her a chore 🤷‍♀️

Justdancevance · 21/07/2026 10:29

At this point I just want to see transparent invictus games finances and then the money being used to support athletes in Invictus Games.

The only potential negative is Sussex trying to get their mitts into the Paralympic’s, which would be a disaster

We will never see these finances. There are a lot of questions around this but silence as usual

Agree. It's so inauthentic and including "friends" who she appears know nothing about

Didn't they consider Australia a huge success?

They definitely want back to the RF. They will now take any role. However, she won't be selling anything. Bankruptcy on the way for As Ever. She hasn't promoted anything in ages.

He's doing his very best to push his old tiresome "lovable cheeky Chappy" schtick.

A role within the RF is all they have left now and unfortunately KC will probably relent. The obstacle is PW

Do we think Andy Burnham might be more robust with these two?

His proposed actions on homelessness certainly dovetail with William's project.
If you look at what happened in Manchester, and what the PoW's Homewards initiative are working in, they match well.

Would imagine he has a lot more priorities than a feckless ex royal

Starryfifty · 21/07/2026 12:02

The only way HAM will get this bells and whistles security will be as working royals. It definitely looks like this is their next "strategy/ project"

And it will damage the message that he wants to help with the cost of living to give more money to rich expats. Burnham literally and figuratively can't afford to indulge them on this.

That's definitely was they are after. Back to square one. All that pontificating and drama and they want to end up where they started. It'll never happen anyway.

BigWillyLittleTodger · 21/07/2026 12:23

They won’t want the grunt work of being a working royal though, just the glamorous stuff, state banquets, trooping, overseas tours, they won’t want to open the new recycling centre in Norwich or the new waste processing plant extension in Bristol. However if Princess Ann wants to retire or cut down on her public engagements maybe KC could send these two? In fact if I was KC and they were begging to come back that’s exactly what I would do! 😂

The problem with Meghan in particular (and Harry to an extent) is that she becomes the main event on these visits. Princess Anne and Sophie, for instance, do their homework, arrive looking lovely, are friendly and polite and they LISTEN to what they are told by their hosts. It is not about "them" but the charity.
Meghan clearly didn't read that memo or, if she did, ignored it. She needs to stop with the gurning and the fake sympathy smiles and DEFINITELY knock the promotion of her own (gifted) outfits for money nonsense.

They wouldn’t be back to square one, it would be even worse for them, William wasn’t the heir when they left, W&C weren’t the Prince and Princess of Wales, now their status is much higher and William has much more power, no way could their over inflated egos cope, they couldn’t before, it would be a hundred times worse for them now.
