I can’t see how MC claims MM has been quiet lately …. She’s been as erratic and disingenuously briefing the media as ever - just last week she was claiming she was done with the RF and then she dropped everything and rocked up with a minutes notice and huge conditions (in KC3 favour) for an audience at Highgrove - then she said she supports PH to lead with RF, etc etc She’s been ‘noisy’ not quiet.

If the point of the article was to lay out that MM has now burnt all her bridges with Hollywood elite so has basically zero opportunities to make cash then fair enough - and is this the ‘humiliation’?

I suspect that her about turn to visit UK was a complicated tap dance through tricky reputational terrain for her own benefit - she had planned a high profile schedule of numerous public events in UK with PH - but once the ANL judgement was known she swerved hard out of the shitshow fallout - ensuring it landed solely on PH.

However she would have done the math and concluded that PH court case will have potentially bankrupted them - so a few days after saying she’s done with the RF and once the $$$$$ implications drop she goes with the begging bowl and plays nice to KC3 dangling her kiddos.

If she’s toast in Tinseltown and UK what will she do? With Sentebale exposure of PH imminent and who knows what with Africa Parks and IG - I suspect she is dumping her DH with his MH issues back at his DFs door. I think she does want a reconciliation to get that depressing liability off her back. It wouldn’t surprise me if MM played nice just to return her faulty fox to his home and then fuxked back off to US.

HIHO won’t be an option but accommodation and school fees in UK might be - unless KC3 thinks keep them all out in the US.

I'm sure KC3 will be more than happy to pay the US school and college fees. There's no way those children will move to live in the UK while their mother is alive.

Well according to Lownie and The Sun he didn’t mind stumping up to make Virginia Giuffre’s case go away… .

Irrelevant to the thread title And subject at hand, extremely derailing ( which is against guidelines) and there are threads to discuss that on the board already.

Ferrycrossingmakingwaves9 · 20/07/2026 14:52

Oh fhs 🙄. These threads are such a bizarre mix of extreme pedantism …

( you don’t need to examine trade figures to know that football brings a huge amount of kudos and money in to the UK and that in this, summer's tournament, 39 out of the 48 competing nations have had a Premier League player in their squads.)

… combined with extreme speculation as to what H&M could or would do and their imagined thought processes …

Mind you after 24 threads ranting on obsessively about two individuals you don’t know, it doesn’t really surprise me… .

Who is obsessively ranting?

SqueakyDinosaur · 20/07/2026 16:13

I would imagine KC and RF want to keep the HAMs in the US. If they all arrived back to UK, KC relations with the Wales would be very strained

BemusedAmerican · 20/07/2026 16:47

The weather in Atlanta was very hot and humid. If the players were not used to the extreme heat and humidity, it would affect them. I have trouble with the heat and humidity in NYC and I have lived here most of my life.

The torrential rains on Saturday cleared away most of the Canadian wildfire smoke. We were speculating that the final might be postponed if the smoke conditions were bad in New Jersey.

BemusedAmerican · 20/07/2026 16:49

Sorry about the derail above.

Maybe Meghan asks KC and Camilla for recipes for the cookbook 😁

Tom Parker Bowles is the cookery writer for the RF.
I can’t deny - I love his recipes.
Because of him I’ve been making my own bacon & salt beef for about a decade.
I don’t think Meghans food/cookery knowledge would be 1% of Toms.

Bigcat25 · 20/07/2026 17:01

Bredaa · 20/07/2026 08:39

Absolutely correct. Remember that MM got PH to call David Beckham and bollock him because MM believed that Victoria Beckham was leaking stuff to the press about H&M.

Also most recently H&M made a big splash about hosting / mentoring Brooklyn Peltz-Beckham and his wife Nicola in Monteshitshow after their public fallout with D&V.

So no PH not on DB Christmas card list.

Also David flew out to Australia to support one of H's causes (maybe Invictus?) and H and M refused to see him. Anyone would be pissed.

What Harry did with that comment was to dismiss the efforts of a team who had proudly represented their country and played their hearts out. Their mindset was not at fault. Harry’s is.

This. How Harry can claim to be a “working royal”(yes I know he isn’t, but he likes to pretend he is) and then completely disrespect the national team of one of the countries his family represents, is laughable. William sent them a message of support and encouragement after the loss to Argentina, which is how it should be from the RF

I was very disappointed to see his latest cookery book on sale in Balmoral Castle. Till then I’d thought the Queens children were just going about life without much Royal adjacency but seeing the book in a very prominent position in the Balmoral shop soon put me right on my misconceptions.

If anything the team showed a great mindset, especially in the Mexico game. They did the country. I am so disappointed in Tuchel. His tactics in the Argentina match were such a mistake. I have a football obsessed son so base my opinions on his - I am not just spouting hot air like H!

Yes, I agree @JSMill and @Dontevenlookatme

The team mindset was not the problem.
That’s PH just being PH, wanting to look like he knows what he’s talking about.

I’d say the Mexico game and certainly the France game on Saturday were up there among the best games of the tournament.

From AI:

10 sites
The Home Office and RAVEC (the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures) agreed to conduct a new threat assessment and security review regarding Prince Harry's taxpayer-funded protection in the UK. This marked the first such reassessment since 2020. 1, 2, 3]
Following his move to California and stepping back from senior royal duties, Prince Harry's automatic high-level protection was removed. He challenged this decision in the High Court and Court of Appeal but lost his bid and subsequent appeals. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Subsequently, Harry wrote a formal request to Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood in late 2025, arguing that RAVEC had not properly assessed his current threat level. In response to this intervention, RAVEC instructed its Risk Management Board to review his security needs. 1, 2, 3, 4]
The UK government's protective security system remains rigorous, and it is standard policy not to release detailed information on these security arrangements to the public. 1]
If you'd like to know more, I can:

  • Provide details on the Court of Appeal rulings
  • Outline Prince Harry's stated concerns for his family's safety when traveling to the UK

has the review been conducted

Yes, the review has been conducted, and the Home Office ultimately declined Prince Harry's request for full, round-the-clock taxpayer-funded police protection. 1, 2]
The evaluation process and its outcomes unfolded over several stages:

  • The Risk Assessment: Following Harry's formal request, RAVEC's Risk Management Board evaluated a comprehensive security dossier. This included a 40-page report submitted by Harry's private security team detailing six specific terrorist plots—five originating in the UK—and threats from "lone actors". 1, 2, 3]
  • The Decision: In late June 2026, the Home Office and RAVEC concluded the review, deciding not to grant full public security or allow his private security team direct access to intelligence from MI5 and MI6. Instead, they maintained that he will only receive limited, "bespoke" protection on a case-by-case basis. 1, , 4, 5]
  • The Immediate Impact: Because full protection was denied outside of designated royal residences, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had to alter their travel plans for their July 2026 trip to the UK. Meghan and the children stayed at a European base while Harry initially travelled ahead. They eventually completed a low-key, heavily managed family reunion with King Charles at Highgrove. 1, 2, 3, 4]
Reports indicate that Prince Harry remains deeply dissatisfied with this outcome and plans to continue lobbying the Home Secretary for an urgent reassessment ahead of future travel, including the upcoming Invictus Games in Birmingham

Win for Prince Harry as Home Office 'agrees to review his UK security arrangements'

The duke said security concerns mean it is ‘impossible’ for him to bring Meghan and their children back to the UK safely

Mylovelygreendress · 20/07/2026 18:04

So there has been a review but he is still not happy ??

BreadInCaptivity · 20/07/2026 18:09

In brief the Home Office and RAVEC have done what they said they would do - to review his security. This was done in June this year.

This did not result in the outcome H wanted.

He now wants yet another review (notably after his family visited KC successfully when the visit was kept quiet).

He appears to think he should be able to waste more taxpayers money by conducting review after review until he gets what he wants.

Yes in June this year.

Mylovelygreendress · 20/07/2026 18:21

I really hope someone tells him no , he will continue to have a case by case assessment.
If that means HAM and the HAMLETS don’t visit the U.K. tough .
End of .

I was very disappointed to see his latest cookery book on sale in Balmoral Castle. Till then I’d thought the Queens children were just going about life without much Royal adjacency but seeing the book in a very prominent position in the Balmoral shop soon put me right on my misconceptions.

Why?
It’s a book about Royal food. Tom has researched it himself and has already written several cookery books. It’s hardly like he is just using his royal connections and writing on something he has no knowledge of.
It’s a lovely book and I’ve cooked several things from it which I would never have known about without Toms research.

Mylovelygreendress · 20/07/2026 18:04

So there has been a review but he is still not happy ??

So, is this, from the article,
"that includes convening a Risk Management Board to assess threats against him. HELLO! understands Harry has not undergone one for seven years.",
incorrect? Or is a review something other than assessing risks against Harry?
