Hello I thought I'd start a thread where we can build up the excitement for tomorrow 😂

I'm enjoying the English Country/ family vibe I'm getting from the setting and wedding prep.

I'm looking forward to seeing Harriet's dress, she's a very attractive women, but the flowers are always of special interst to me.

Who do we think will be bridesmaids? Peters P's and Harriet's daughters presumably? Zara's kids?

I read that Philip and Zara have a half sister who will be attending, I didn't kow about her!

I also read that Peters first wedding to Autumn was sold to Hello and criticised for this. Very tacky. It looks like he's learned and is not cashing in this time, so hopefully we'll get a good look at evryone.

It must be a lot for Harriet's teenage daughter getting two step sisters and the whole circus of the wider family.

Yes, I think there was a paternity suit as Mark denied she was his. Poor kid, father won't have anything too do with her and she grew up with a single mum in Auckland. Meanwhile her half siblings were raised in old money on large country estates and now as adults have sponsorship deals etc.

That's exactly what I think- it's like looking in on a happy family day rather than a state occasion.

I can - I actually still regularly wear one thing I owned when I was in junior school. Admittedly they are lycra and were loose when I was 10, whereas now they fit better 😂 I also have several jumpers and tops from my teenage years that still get worn.

I don't buy many clothes but have loads, because I've rarely grown out of them so don't get rid of them.

However, just because you CAN doesn't mean you SHOULD! Lots of the clothes I can still fit in look ridiculous on a middle aged woman vs a teenager.

I think it's fab that Princess Anne reuses her clothes.

I still remember the actress at Harry’s wedding who wore a dress that had a sort of shoulder cape thing attached, everyone was asking who she was and it took a while for someone to recognise her. But her dress was amazing.

Yes, they are. I have foxgloves but they are in an area the dogs can't get to.

At King's Coronation between Harry and the TV cameras was Auntie Anne with a hat with a plume of feathers 🪶

At Queens funeral between Harry and the TV cameras was a rather large church candle.

It could easily have been pure coincidence or it could have been military precision that there wasn't a straight picture of Harry at either event. 🤔

Both of Peter's daughters are gorgeous but the younger one, Isla, looks astonishingly like her Aunty Zara. Funny how genes work.

I was watching Palace Confidential and they said the wedding planners are the same ones Peter used for his 1st wedding, Bentley's Entertainment, I think? They also did big splashy weddings like the Beckhams' and Elton John's, so it might be one hell of a party!

The weather here is awful, hope it is better where they are.

@Allseeingallknowing I am galloping up to 70 and can still wear clothes I bought in the early 90s. For example, a pair of M&S shorts labelled size 12, waist 26", hips 37". In those days the measurements were included on the label.
I have a waxed jacket and green wellies bought in 1986 that are going strong, too.

I must be missing something as I find the comments about Isla looking very like Zara very odd. Other than being blond and a similar face shape she doesn’t imo. Different eyes, nose and mouth.

When you look at younger photos of her mother, Autumn Kelly, Isla very obviously takes after her.

It’s a royal watchers thing- they are always quick to say children of the family take after the royal family members, not the “married in” side! I guess it’s a combination of having remembered the royal family members as children, while only having seen the “married in” family as adults, and confirming that child belongs to the royals, not illegitimate.

It’s not good weather for a wedding is it? Pity they didn’t go a couple of weeks earlier. That said, the rain might keep away a lot of people so they’ll get a more private day.

Well my mum says dcs look like me, MIL dcs look dh! Think people see what they want to see tbh.
