The royal family

Should Beatrice and Eugenie voluntarily give up their titles if they want any public respect ever again?

Just that really.
I think the only possible way forward for them is to choose to give up the princess thing, make a brief public statement in support of victims and to end their middle east business jaunts.

Are you the author of this book? 🤔

🙄 No, but it’s eye opening and it’s frustrating when people say Beatrice and Eugenie are innocent when they’re really not. I wish I was the author because I wish I knew everything else that he knows that he couldn’t put in the book.

No I don’t think they need to, I don’t feel they can be blamed for their parents behaviour and I feel it’s wrong to try to do so.

however I feel all of them have been blighted by the awful behaviour of their parents, all of them, the spouses, and ultimately the grandkids. It is seen as shameful to be part of this family, I don’t think they can recover from it. And their titles are now meaningless.

I am shocked andrew was potentially committing treason, accused of passing on confidential trade information to benefit from it financially, and to potentially damage the uk interests so to create a benefit for him and his friends,

the shagging behaviour was awful but the sheer scale of what was going on as it now is slowly being unveiled, from the grabby behaviour over money from him and Sarah, with their hands out, to the selling the uk out for cash is just appalling.

i don’t understand any of them, take Harry and Megan, they could have lived a life of luxury, they just had to do the job, but they wanted much more money and fame. Andrew and fergie also had a life of luxury, but they were the same, they wanted more money, and andrew couldn’t keep it in his pants.

its fucking tawdry. And I don’t think they can recover. It’s thay sense of entitlement, of sheer greed, of resentment that it’s not them to be monarch, that seems to drive these second sons.

It’s very wrong and shameful of you to lump Harry and Andrew together as if they are the same. Harry has done nothing even remotely similar.

I think some people are getting royalties from this book it gets mentioned so often

PandoraSocks · 22/02/2026 09:59

Everything they have is because of their royal position. Without it they would be nothing

That is true of every single member of the RF!

Zara is an Olympian. She didn’t achieve that by being a member of the RF.

If the victims in their late teens and 20s were groomed and unable to escape their role, why assume that these 2 girls should be better able to resist their circumstances at that age?

They are in their 30s now and still dodgy. They also had access to things that the trafficked girls and women wouldn’t have, so they have had opportunities to escape their parents. One of them has even worked with the anti slavery collective which seeks to end human trafficking so they’re not oblivious, yet choose to be involved with their parents and their questionable friends. Thats a conflict of interest if ever there was one.

socks1107 · 22/02/2026 10:06

I don’t think they are anywhere near as awful as their parents but I don’t think they are innocent either and maybe a step down should happen. They had lunch as adults with a known trafficker. That’s not innocent to me. Although they may well have been manipulated by their mum they are old enough to see that

Take a step down from what exactly?

AgnesX · 22/02/2026 10:33

Nothing like visiting the sins of the father on his children is there 🙄

They're not responsible for their parents behaviour.

@derxa But her privilege would massively have helped here.

AFAIK the young women recruited by Epstein were from non wealthy families and falsely promised a better life.

I cannot see how that even behind to compare with two people born into more wrath than we can dream of but severely lacking a moral compass.

It couldn’t possibly be that people just want the world to know the real truth about this family because they have caused a lot of harm. Why do some people not want this book mentioned?

Well I hate to say it but it's an extremely costly sport and Zara would not have got there on her own. There are hugely talented equestrians out there who can't pull the same strings and don't have the necessary money.

sittingonabeach · 22/02/2026 10:35

Can wealthy young people not be groomed. Which right minded parent would take their daughters to see a sex offender/trafficker?

No, but they are responsible for their own as women in their 30s.

Hilarious.

No, they just want people to know the truth.

sittingonabeach · 22/02/2026 10:38

@ItsThatWayNotThisWay so is the author making lots of money from knowing information about trafficked women. Instead of writing a book why not work with the police

I am not sure if you’re. Super fan of Harry or misread, I do think they are both driven by greed, and a desire for more money, Harry hasn’t exactly been shy about his desire for that, at no stage did I say he had behaved illegally. I will continue to lump them together when I see a similar undertone to both of their behaviour,

What daughter's in their 20s would be happy to go?

Spaghettion · 22/02/2026 10:38

I was dragged up by a sex offender myself.. Am I also guilty by association in your opinion?

You still need the skill set and determination. It’s really not anyone can be an Olympian with enough money and the mindset undermines the hard work and skills it takes to be an Olympian.

Because you're pinning accusations on people (B and E) on 'something I read in a book'.

How do you know he hasn't?

Have you got something against rhe truth finally bring written about the Yorks?

Would you prefer this truth to be hidden from the public, like it has been for years?

I dont know much about them but I do remember one had surgery on her back when she was a child. She reportedly chose a wedding dress with a low back to show the scar as an example to children going through the surgery that it was nothing to be ashamed of.

No idea which one it was or if it was true but it did strike me as a positive thing to do, if she did it.

That was Eugenie who had surgery for scoliosis. And who did choose a low backed dress for reasons mentioned.

After her wedding she wore a jacket with Mrs Brooksbank embroidered on it, so of the two I imagine she'd more likely to be okay with being plain Mrs.

Out of the two, she seems more able to cope without a title.

He’s offered his info to the national crime agency. He has also been very vocal about the need for Andrew’s staff etc to be questioned.

Hopefully the police will be proactive in speaking to Lownie, but we all know it’ll be a huge cover up as it always has been.

BestBefore2000 · 22/02/2026 10:43

@derxa Absolutely. It is wealthy people who are involved in her area of sport.
