The royal family

Should Beatrice and Eugenie voluntarily give up their titles if they want any public respect ever again?

Just that really.
I think the only possible way forward for them is to choose to give up the princess thing, make a brief public statement in support of victims and to end their middle east business jaunts.

Zara is an Olympian. She didn’t achieve that by being a member of the RF.

She did have a head start as member of a very rich horsey family, although I agree that the Royals aren't the only rich horsey family.

TicklishNewt · 22/02/2026 11:45

Do you think they were told he had been jailed.

freakingscared · 22/02/2026 11:45

Why ? What have they done ?

So their father’s behaviour now has to impact on his daughters?

Yes. It absolutely does. He hurt children. He assaulted children. Beatrice and Eugenie should respectfully disappear from public life.

If you, as a trainer, had to make the choice between training a child from a rich horsey family and the Queen's granddaughter, would you really turn down the latter?

You still need the skill set and determination. It’s really not anyone can be an Olympian with enough money and the mindset undermines the hard work and skills it takes to be an Olympian.

This is true, to be fair. If it wasn't, Kendall Jenner could be an Olympian but she isn't as sye lacks the talent/dedication.

They are a pair of grifters. Everything they have is because of their royal position. Without it they would be nothing.

They work.

Are you saying they would not have those jobs without the RF connection?

I'm not so sure.

They are both married to very wealthy men and don't need to work.

And she’s a little busy being a supermodel.😂

This is so silly.
Giving up their titles won't change what their father did.

They don't perform many royal duties anyway.

They are daughters of someone 8th in line to the throne.

budster08 · 22/02/2026 11:55

Not sure about giving up their titles but they could validate their father’s lies by saying he did NOT take them to the pizza express in working as he has alleged when interviewed by Emily Maitlis. I don’t think it’s fair that they are being embroiled in his scandal.

Dgll · 22/02/2026 11:55

ItsThatWayNotThisWay · 22/02/2026 11:41

Maybe she has. Maybe she wants to talk about these two. What the problem? Some people want to close down any discussion even relating to Andrew and that makes me suspicious. Let people talk, you don’t have to join in. Beatrice and Eugenie have behaved badly themselves. I wouldn’t want them punished purely due to having a terrible father, but they should face scrutiny for their own bad behaviour.

It is about having some perspective.

pariswindow · 22/02/2026 11:56

The pair of them are forever grifting around the Gulf States.

B was at the World Economic Forum in Davos just last month, rubbing shoulders with the great and the good (to coin a phrase). Quite what talents she has to bring to the global economic stage I can’t imagine.

Those titles are extremely valuable to them. They won’t give them up voluntarily, it would mean too many doors closing.

It was Andrew who originally insisted his daughters be given the title of Princess, after all he already knew how lucrative an in-your-face RF title would be.

Unfortunately no shame gene was available to inherit from either parent.

TrackerTracey · 22/02/2026 11:57

No they shouldn't.
They are not responsible for their parents, and as others have said, there's a good chance they were unwittingly dragged into it at first, when still children.

I think they've done a decent job at distancing themselves from it all - marrying, living abroad, bringing up their own children, working and being involved in relative charities. They don't always use their titles anyway.

At the end of the day AMW and SF are their parents, and they will be having to deal with the horror of discovering the full extent of everything coming out of the Epstein files. There's no guarantee they knew the whole story.

Just leave them alone to get on with their lives. No doubt the media intrusion will be punishment enough.

ByQuaintAzureWasp · 22/02/2026 11:57

Behave!

Livelovebehappy · 22/02/2026 11:59

Don’t be silly. Of course they shouldn’t. Are you saying children should be punished for the crimes of their parents? Or does your theory just apply to the RF, this is another Royal Family bashing thread? I’m guessing they’re already going through mental anguish at reading the full extent of both their parents’ involvement. Assume it’s humiliating and embarrassing for them.

don't think they have to give them up but I'd say they would be wise to at least stop using their titles..... it would make them slightly less vulnerable to criticism & will help reduce chatter about them making money from their titles. If they are not exploiting their titles then why use them

NotReadyForChristmas2025 · 22/02/2026 12:01

Yes.

And what purpose would them now stepping forward to say he didn’t take them to Pizza Express, actually have? Things have exploded massively over the last month, so that the Pizza Express thing is almost irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.

Maybe voluntarily visiting a paedophiles home is what’s having the impact!

No…it shows him to be a liar and them to be complicit in his lies.

I find your question rather peculiar OP. By extension; civilised society should perhaps lock up all offspring of murderers?
But my answer is, as we’re apparently perfectly happy to have a King who has admitted he committed adultery during marriage with his first wife; I think it’s too much of an ask to punish AMW’s daughters for something which happened whilst they were children & hence in no control of.

The question the OP posed is should they give up the titles. This would signal that they are breaking from their father and respecting our constitution by doing something selfless.

They have no place in our country’s constitutional monarchy and they should not have the titles attached to that institution. They are using titles of state. They should stop using titles of state and they should never have been given them.

Were they dragged into Epstein home when they were grown women?

Does this theory apply equally to none Royals too? Ie, are you saying children of paedophiles shouldn’t mix with others, and should hide away in shame? Seriously?

How wrong you are. One lives in Portugal but with a gaff in Kensington Palace. The other lives in the Cotswolds. Beatrice shamelessly uses her title in the Middle East
As news broke about her father she was hosting a tea "We cordially invite you to Afternoon Tea hosted by Princess Beatrice of York," with middle eastern oligarchs and whoever.
The charities are few. Eugenie the Anti Slavery collective for victims of sex trafficking (how ironic) and the charity is sat on hundreds of thousands.
