Meg n Harry trick or treating with booze?

AtIusvue · 01/11/2025 22:16

Meg appears to have wine tumbler cooler and Harry has a bottle of something to take their kids tricking or treating.
Why the hell would you be drinking while looking after your kids? I mean, it’s definitely a chore taking the kids round the houses…..but I’m sure most people can do it without resorting to hitting the vino!

@AtIusvue apparently Harry is carrying a water bottle....hmmm looks like beer to me 🤭😁

SunshinePlease24 · 01/11/2025 22:18

Andrew? Is that you?

Yes, they’ve not cut off the wifi off at Royal Lodge yet 🙄

It's an insulated cup - I have one the same, I use it for coffee.

And Harry clearly has a chilly's type waterbottle in wood effect.

Why would you assume they were from that photo? 🤷‍♂️

its a wine tumbler - like this

I have a cup like that for coffee/tea. But last night I had a glass of wine and dc survived. I can’t stand Megan and Harry but even I think this is a desperate reach.

Arlanymor · 01/11/2025 22:23

A thermos cup and a water bottle. I don't like them, but I wouldn't make reaching 'observations' about them.

Because its a wine tumbler and the glass bottle with a brown liquid. Could be witches brew (cola and irn bru)

I have a Sho one in light blue. I use it on my desk at work (because it doesn’t fit in the bloody car cup holders). I’m not drinking wine at work. But this is a very amusing thread.

AtIusvue · 01/11/2025 22:26

I’ve just read that in California, that some people take a drink with them to go round the houses and some houses put out drinks for the parents. Any Americans know if this is true?

Well done you. Tracking down a cup because Meghan’s carrying one. Time well spent was it?

It's a travel coffee cup that looks exactly like my one.

His drink could be root beer or anything.

Weird how you'd jump to the conclusion they're both on the booze.

Page six

‘Harry carried two bottles of an unknown drink while Markle held a stemless wine cup. The photo agency claimed it’s a local tradition to hand out candy for kids and wine for adults.’

So it is a wine tumbler. Coffee thermos cups aren’t typically shape.

So very likely they are drinking. Seen as its tradition …seemingly.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle take kids Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4, trick-or-treating in rare family outing

The Sussexes were spotted going to door to door to collect candy in Santa Barbara, Calif., on Friday.

It’s true in a lot of places in the US. Some houses give out jello shots for adults or cans of beer / wine miniatures.

Bobiverse · 01/11/2025 22:37

I’ve gone to many evenings at friends with my kids and I’ve had wine. I have wine at home. I’ve also done a progressive dinner, and carried wine with me whilst walking to the next house with my kids. Street parties - yup. Dinner out? Yup.

If they walk around with a small drink on Halloween then so what? If that’s the done thing over there then it isn’t weird or problematic.

Whats wrong with you, OP? Is this really
how you want to spend your time?

I don't think they look jolly enough to have been drinking.
Unless it's a hell of a lot and they've got to the argumentative/maudlin stage (joke).

It’s not a small drink though, he's carrying a bottle.

He's carrying a water bottle but I'd lay odds there's a cheeky tipple in there. It's completely normal here for parents to drink while they're walking their kids around. Also Dads on golf carts handing out free booze. It's a great night!

RecoIIectionsMayVary · 01/11/2025 22:39

I am not a cheerleader, but if they are on the booze at Halloween... I understand!

Yeah says more about them than M&H to assume this.

I don’t drink alcohol at all and I have a bottle that looks like Harry’s I use for water and one that looks like M’s I use for tea.

And also even if it was a bit of wine or whatever in them is it really such a big deal assuming they didn’t get bladdered. And I say this as someone who is teetotal.

SunshinePlease24 · 01/11/2025 22:39

This is such an odd thread OP. Why do you care?

True

This must be a gated community so they must be pissed off with people taking pics
