Meg n Harry trick or treating with booze?

Meg appears to have wine tumbler cooler and Harry has a bottle of something to take their kids tricking or treating.
Why the hell would you be drinking while looking after your kids? I mean, it’s definitely a chore taking the kids round the houses…..but I’m sure most people can do it without resorting to hitting the vino!

Yes, reading from Page Six it’s a tradition to have a drink/ take the kids round the neighbourhood

So why the need for this ugly, miserable thread?

Figgygal · 02/11/2025 08:21

I had wine friday night while husband was out and we were back from trick and treating so i was in charge of the kids. I really dont think it would have been worst thing in world if had taken it out in my huski tumbler either

Some people drink - oh the horror

dahliadream · 02/11/2025 08:21

I like to think of myself as a very responsible mother but I had a little cocktail in a can whilst on an organised spooky Halloween walk with my four year old and husband last night. He really pushed the boat out and had a beer.

Unbelievably, the world didn't cave in and myself and my child are both still alive and well.

What absolute pearl clutching.

butterdish93 · 02/11/2025 08:26

So what if they were?
my husband and his friend were drinking a beer whilst we were tricking or treating with the kids on Friday. It’s no big deal.

GagMeWithASpoon · 02/11/2025 08:30

Harry is very clearly carrying two stainless steel water bottles. While I have no idea whether they contain the tears of Swiss nuns or absinthe , you made an assumption and ran away with it without even bothering to look at the pictures properly.

HeartyViper · 02/11/2025 08:34

I took my DCs to watch some fireworks last night. Both DH and I had a gasp half a mulled cider - I can assure you everyone is still alive and well this morning, and not emotionally scarred from the experience.

What an odd thread.

bigdecisionstomake · 02/11/2025 08:35

I'm no fan of Harry & Meghan but blimey this is a nasty thread to create.

HardyWeinbergEquation · 02/11/2025 08:38

Christ who cares!!!

MrsLeonFarrell · 02/11/2025 08:39

If i had to trail round trick or treating with my kids I'd definitely prefer a little tipple whilst doing it!

PuggyPuggyPuggy · 02/11/2025 08:39

Well at least they are not shagging trafficked teenagers.

I’ve just read that in California, that some people take a drink with them to go round the houses and some houses put out drinks for the parents. Any Americans know if this is true?

It happens here in Scotland you’ll be horrified to know. Can’t talk for America

WashYourDamnRice · 02/11/2025 08:51

Put your phone down and go outside op for a bit. Or as my teens would say, touch grass.

It’s alright. The schools go back on Monday.

There is still time for them to be accused of doing this too. The day is young.

You have very wise teenagers.

LomotheGreat · 02/11/2025 09:00

What a bloody good idea! I might do this next year. Might start taking a hit flask to the play park as well.

Tbh, I don't know why I've never thought of it before!

JoeMarlerseyes · 02/11/2025 09:03

the desperation of the "fans" to grab on to anything that they can pretend H&M have done wrong is hilarious .

DickDewey · 02/11/2025 09:07

If they are drinking booze -
1.Good for them
2.Who cares?

If anyone ever wonders why they escaped the UK, just direct them to batshit spiteful threads like this.

SayWhatty · 02/11/2025 09:09

I got a free insulated tumbler like that with an order of a supplement. Nothing booze related. My DD aged 9 uses it all the time. Not for wine. A bit strange to insist the only thing in an insulated tumbler could be wine.

AhWeNoss · 02/11/2025 09:09

If anyone needs examples of how obsessive people can be when it comes to H&M, this thread is a perfect example.

They are simply existing and OP is looking for ways to throw mud.

Absolutely nuts.

Don’t parents dress up. I know M is wearing that butterfly top thing but I thought that was a thing too. It might make them less identifiable, or maybe that’s not the point.

I assume Harry can’t fit into his SS uniform anymore.
