Meg n Harry trick or treating with booze?

Meg appears to have wine tumbler cooler and Harry has a bottle of something to take their kids tricking or treating.
Why the hell would you be drinking while looking after your kids? I mean, it’s definitely a chore taking the kids round the houses…..but I’m sure most people can do it without resorting to hitting the vino!

God-I’m going mad too! So MM was in 108 episodes of Suits. Are you saying that she was in for an average of 1.2 minutes per episode?? That’s $29,666 a minute (according to Google-don’t quote me.) Nice work if you can get it!!!

LOL, maybe not where you live, but even as a kid I know of multiple houses that passed out beer to my dad as we went trick or treating in our neighborhood. You obviously haven't been in suburbs much.

I only lived in the suburbs, until I went to uni. Lol

@mathanxiety I didn't say an out-of-court settlement 'had no legal significance'. I said it wasn't a 'legal victory', which was what a previous poster had claimed.

I do understand the principles on which civil cases are based.

What... And? So? So what if she had wine and he had beer? What's the problem?

I don't drink wine, but love beer and drink it often, kids or no kids around. As most of my countymen and countrywomen do. Same with other Europeans, lots are wine and/or beer drinking countries. What's the problem here?

I'm in the UK currently, and seen multiple dads standing and nursing beers while their kiddies knock on houses for treats. What's the issue? Did I have to call the cops on them or something?

Are you presuming what, that people are wasted after one/two wines or something and unable to take care of their kids?

As very many others on this thread have explained...it is very normal in the US to trick or treat in an area that you don't live in
So it's not the massive H&M gotcha that you think it is. Sorry. They weren't (in your words) grifting in Santa Barbara, they were doing what other Americans do

A nation of grifters then? 😂

For someone who doesn't watch 'American cable output', you certainly seem to have plenty of opinions on how residents of the greater Hollywood region and their offspring spend their Hallowe'ens...

And also - 'cable'?

Yes I do. Thanks 😊

You’ve taken the time to find out Meghan’s on screen for 138 minutes in order to minimize her career? Weird.

Ooh aren't you so clever with your little attempt at dissing me ? 😂 you forgot to say how sorry you feel for my children and family and dog yet here YOU are taking the time trying to get at a stranger on line.. now that's weird. Begone ! 👻

I don’t think you understand the meaning of ‘grifting’.

And she wasn’t overly successful; a bit part in a cable show …..
Not the first mixed race person to join the Royal family but the first to make a pig’s ear of it .

So who is the first mixed race person to marry into the Royal Family who has made such a success of it? I assume that they can't have been in the limelight and under constant scrutiny like Meghan has been because I've never heard of them.

Who had heard of her prior to Harry ?

Me. From Suits which was actually very popular.

CreepingCrone · 03/11/2025 13:48

I couldn't care less about those two, but we used to love sharing a bottle of red between 6 of us when we met up to take our kids Trickle-treating 🎃

VanessaSanessa · 03/11/2025 14:53

This thread just proves that MM can't get out of bed without being commented on.

I think the two of them are utter twats but to get abuse for this.

So what if they had a drink while out with their kids. I doubt they are falling down and endangering their children.

Give me all the wine when it comes to some of the kids activities.

I saw Suit - it was on Dave in UK a minor digital channel more known for comedic repeats.

She was I thought good in it but didn't see her as the star and her name recognition wasn't there yet but did recognise her face from it. I was only one in my friends and family to have seen any of Suits - and I only watched first two seasons.

So in UK Suits wasn't very well known prior to her engagement that pushed it to a much wider audience - in UK at least though think initial US audience figures weren't huge. It's done much better in recent years on streaming services and I think a lot of that that's to Meghan's fame getting it in front of more eyeballs - and people think yes it's entertaining. I think the show producers have a lot to thank her for.
