Meg n Harry trick or treating with booze?

Meg appears to have wine tumbler cooler and Harry has a bottle of something to take their kids tricking or treating.
Why the hell would you be drinking while looking after your kids? I mean, it’s definitely a chore taking the kids round the houses…..but I’m sure most people can do it without resorting to hitting the vino!

Be a love and look in the mirror OP and argue with yourself there. TIA .!

I feel like wind would be lovely to make the whole thing bearable. I was at a kids Halloween party and I was v jealous of the Prosecco drinkers as I had to drive.

Because its a wine tumbler and the glass bottle with a brown liquid. Could be witches brew (cola and irn bru)

It’s got a metal ball top like most Chillys bottles that come in brown…

And I'm guessing they look a bit cranky because they're trying to trick or treat with their kids and randoms are taking their photo and selling it to the DM!

I’ve just read that in California, that some people take a drink with them to go round the houses and some houses put out drinks for the parents. Any Americans know if this is true?

I was talking to someone who had lived in San Francisco this evening about exactly this. Apparently the parents go from house to house and get a wine top up as the kids trick or treat. It's totally normal.

Well the DM is the least of their problems. The DM hasnt published pics of their kids trick or treating. Page Six have.

Yet it’s always the British press Harry seems to go after…..

Jesus. So what.
Why do you care so much.
it’s unhealthy OP

Yes, reading from Page Six it’s a tradition to have a drink/ take the kids round the neighbourhood

I've never taken DC trick or treating. I'd be slightly more up for it if I thought I'd be able to take wine tbh.

Photos are by Backgrid and it is well known that Meghan has them on speed dial .

Page 6 is owned by the same media billionaire that owns The Sun, The Times, Fox and Sky and so so much more. We are in the age of global media. It doesn’t matter anymore. I could almost guarantee the DM will pick this up anyway, if they think enough people want to bash Harry and Meghan about having a drink in a situation where it’s perfectly acceptable to have a drink.

Ticktockwatchclock · 01/11/2025 22:50

Scraping the barrel trying to paint H&M in a bad light for attention. How about get the log out of your own eye before removing the splinter from someone else’s. In other words look at your own faults and don’t be so judgmental over something you know nothing about. You weren’t there.

what would we do without you to regularly remind us of this?

jaelato1 · 01/11/2025 22:51

Haha OP cracks me up. Many people have said it's a coffee mug but she is adamant it's wine bottle. How does this affect the price of bread...ffs

Greenfinch7 · 01/11/2025 22:53

I have never been offered interesting beverages while trick or treating in the US. I am in NYC- perhaps I should move!

This thread is really inspired

ThePoshUns · 01/11/2025 22:53

I’m really not a fan of M&h but this sort of thing is rather the press leave them be.

Do facts annoy you ?

steepdreams · 01/11/2025 22:55

Definitely saw a few Dads on my street trick or treating with a beer yesterday. Was a big group of parents out with their kids & why not have a sociable one. It’s their Friday night too! No big deal

Terrytheweasel · 01/11/2025 22:55

I don’t blame them. It’s hell out there!

Dagda · 01/11/2025 22:57

This woman certainly doesn’t look like she drinks too much wine. Although I can’t judge as usually I drink wine after trick or treating. If there was a socially acceptable way for me to drink while actually doing it with the kids I’d be there with bells on.

Get a life OP. It’s a fucking Sho bottle or similar. Could have anything in it

Noiamnotalison · 01/11/2025 23:01

So? I’ve definitely drank a bottle of beer, or a bottle of wine, or had a bottle of whisky in my hand in order to pour drinks or drink some of it. So what?

I mean, I’m making myself sound like a drunk 😂 but I don’t actually drink very often! Just, if the occasion calls for it and it’s a nice time out with friends or an event or the done thing. Which this is for them?
