Is Kate Middleton wearing a blonde WIG?

Saw pictures today of Catherine, The Princess of Wales at the Natural History Museum.

I’m glad to see her back to work and looking happy. I’m also stunned by how different her hair looks. I always admired her amazing brown hair, so the blonde is quite the shock. Maybe it’s the wind and the rain creating the effect, but it almost looks like she is wearing a wig?

Just to clarify, I understand she went through cancer treatment and that can affect the hair in many ways. If she is wearing a wig, I really really don’t see a problem with it. If anything, it would be such a boon to cancer patients and people with alopecia etc who do wear wigs frequently. They could see that even wearing a wig you could look as fabulous as Kate.

Either way what is your verdict, wig or her own hair? Does the blonde suit her or do you prefer her as a brunette?

Of course we don't know what type of cancer Catherine had but I thought it was pretty much agreed the initial operation at least was a stomach issue. Bases on this it's extremely unlikely she'd be chugging down laxatives.

This is pure speculation. The only information released was that she had abdominal surgery, which could have been for many different reasons, not necessarily to do with the stomach

You must be new. There are threads over years to date picking apart Meghan's complexion, the way she makes herself 'darker' when it suits her, her hair, her feet (endlessly),her toes, her short torso, her nose job (apparently) her smile, her hands and the way she holds them to her face, her awful dress sense, her hypothetical pregnancies, that's just some of the criticism.

There are plenty of ways to pick apart Meghan’s looks if people wanted to, they just tend not to. Criticising her choice of outfit is not the same as criticising someone’s face and body. Imagine a thread that starts with a question about Meghan’s dental work for example, and ends up picking apart her body shape, criticising her weight, declaring she is addicted to laxatives, has an eating disorder.

What’s weird is I have been on a long running thread with you in the past and thought you were great - funny, kind, a sensible, professional person. I really wouldn’t have expected you to be one of those posting such awful comments about anyone, much less another woman who is recovering from cancer surgery and chemotherapy. I mean skeletal? Eating disorder? What has she done to warrant that (and many other comments across multiple threads) in your mind I wonder? Really odd.

MN have had to delete so many threads about Meghan because of the comments.
I am amazed this thread is still up given the comments about Kate, there must have been multiple reports about lt. Maybe MN are happy to let it keep going because of the clicks it’s getting- shame on them.

If, embedded in just every thread about Meghan, there are comments about every aspect of how she looks, and endless criticism over years, it is there

I do not doubt there is a thread out there particularly focusing on just her appearance, but bearing in mind she has been criticized for about 8 years now, I have a life and I am not prepared to go and spend hours looking through the hundreds and hundreds of threads denigrating her to link it for you.

I have lots of experience of people with eating disorders. It does not help anyone dealing with those sorts of issues to look at someone so much in the public eye as she, and so obviously struggling as she, and hear people saying she looks marvellous and is just “slim”. It is clear that she needs help. I hope she is getting it but I fear she is not.

I’ve seen a lot of criticism of Meghan’s outfits over the last few years, that they’re creased, too beige when brighter colours suit her better, or they’re the wrong outfit for the occasion, like the ball gown for the premiere in Jamaica or the shorts and sliders for leading the veterans parade at Invictus. Or that they don’t fit properly, including the wedding dress. But not much about her face and body. I’ve seen people say that Meghan reportedly dislikes her feet but no actual criticism of the feet, probably because as far as I can see they look completely normal. I haven’t seen anything like this thread - “Has Meghan had VENEERS?” “Is Meghan wearing A WIG?” “Has Meghan had WORK DONE?” And then moving on to whether she’s too thin or too fat, speculating that she must have a mental illness and/or addiction that makes her body the shape that it is, it’s crazy. And Meghan isn’t recovering from cancer treatment, which would make it even more inappropriate.

Thought you couldn’t, though you knew that already, you appear to spend a huge amount of time on the royal threads defending Meghan so I’m surprised you couldn’t spend an extra 2 minutes linking a thread denigrating her looks seeing as they are so frequent. I don’t doubt there are hundreds of threads about her, couldn’t possibly think why, it’s a complete mystery.

I don’t have experience helping people with eating disorders, not professionally if that’s what you mean. I have close experience of people with eating disorders.

I just cannot see “skeletal”, “obviously struggling” and “eating disorder”, I don’t get it. (Have posted some photos which might take a while to be approved.)

And the nastiness of your posts about her over weeks and months suggests that there is more to it than concern for her health.

I’ve said nothing about laxatives or veneers and said she wears hair pieces but so does practically every celebrity these days. So don’t plonk that on me.

I also think she is the laziest woman in England but that is hardly news. She always has been!

It seems that MN is leaning into celebitchy conspiracy theorists. Otherwise deranged threads with no basis in reality would be deleted!

Wish the mods luck with the strategy which will, as ever, backfire.
