Is Kate Middleton wearing a blonde WIG?

Saw pictures today of Catherine, The Princess of Wales at the Natural History Museum.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-15064693/Princess-Wales-natural-history-museum-return-work-summer.html

I’m glad to see her back to work and looking happy. I’m also stunned by how different her hair looks. I always admired her amazing brown hair, so the blonde is quite the shock. Maybe it’s the wind and the rain creating the effect, but it almost looks like she is wearing a wig?

Just to clarify, I understand she went through cancer treatment and that can affect the hair in many ways. If she is wearing a wig, I really really don’t see a problem with it. If anything, it would be such a boon to cancer patients and people with alopecia etc who do wear wigs frequently. They could see that even wearing a wig you could look as fabulous as Kate.

Either way what is your verdict, wig or her own hair? Does the blonde suit her or do you prefer her as a brunette?

For the Vote:
You are being unreasonable, Kate's hair is all her own.
You are NOT being unreasonable, it's defiantly a wig.

Also as a side note I love her outfit.

Good Heir Day! Kate returns to duties with blonde post-holiday hair

The Princess of Wales joined her husband Prince William to visit the Natural History Museum in London today as they returned to duties after their summer break.

Hair extensions and wigs are fantastic nowadays. That video absolutely doesn’t show that she’s using neither. She could easily be wearing hair pieces without it looking obvious

Seems more likely you are trying to start that rumour...

No I actually heard it from a friend who is a journalist.

pilates · 23/09/2025 12:25

Of course you did 🙄

.lol, yeah that means it’s true and sure they know her bowel habits. It’s a cruel thing to gossip about.

but then nothing like a slim woman with great hair to bring out all the oh it’s a wig and she’s on laxatives jealous comments,

Well exactly, he should coco, he was a slob himself.

Henry VIII was attractive and fit as a younger man. It was a hunting injury that made him less mobile that resulted in him getting fat and cross.

Oh! A journalist? Well they never lie or make stuff up or embellish stories. Known for their moral compass are journalists, up there with estate agents

Quite a respected one, but why are you so protective of Catherine? Would it matter to you if it was true she had a laxative addiction?

Please stop. Nobody believed you in the first place, and now you’re trying to drag in a so-called ‘source’ to make your made-up rumor sound credible. It’s not working — you’re just embarrassing yourself.

OK whatever you say. Before I offer an opinion, or state that I have any journalistic friends, I will make sure I check with you first, you know, just to make sure everyone agrees with you. 😂

It appears it’s only you it matters to. Can I ask, since you’re so open to discussing women’s bodies, do you have a weight problem and are you suffering from extreme envy as she’s slim, which is driving you to post this stuff?

Don’t be ridiculous. She is not “slim” she is wasting away before our eyes. Skeletal.

No, she isn’t, but if it makes you feel better about yourself to think that, then go ahead.

Makes me glad I haven’t got a lifelong eating disorder, that’s for damn sure

I’m sure she’s glad she doesn’t have one either. The only difference is I’m guessing she’s not on line hurling abuse at women as she doesn’t approve of their bodies,

JaninaDuszejko · 23/09/2025 16:28

Catherine is very very thin. I've said this on here before, but my SIL met her and in the official photos Catherine (pre-cancer) is significantly slimmer. SIL is an ultramarathon runner so has a healthy and toned slim body, so Catherine must be right at the bottom of the healthy range.

I can understand why she would want to maintain a low body weight because the camera adds weight and her image is scrutinised by so many people.

Yes I suspect she’s at the bottom of the healthy range, but I think still in it. I say that as my bmi is 20 and I’m built like her in terms of I’m very narrow framed, as in so narrow framed I was informed I would need a c section early on in my pregnancy as my pelvis was so narrow it was likely, in lay persons terms, my baby would get stuck, it was confirmed again at 36 or 38 weeks as my pelvis didn’t move,

im also tall. So I look similar to Kate in terms of build. Albeit I’m a little heavier. Even when I gained weight my frame stayed narrow, and my body struggled, and I think part of it is Kate has a very narrow frame. When you see her in tight or sports clothing, she doesn’t look skeletal, but toned.

I also think we are so used to seeing overweight people now, that seeing someone at the lower end of s healthy bmi has people concerned, but it is still a healthy bmi, thay woman is not skeletal, she doesn’t have the look of for example an anorexic about her, and she has had cancer.

i also understand her desire to stay slim, the comments on her appearance, likely from other women is appalling, take this thread, someone saying she’s skeletal, got an eating disorder, taking laxatives, wearing a wig.

its awful that some women treat other women like this, often I feel from envy. And I’m fairly sure no one posting these comments would be held up as a shining example that looked better.

Plastictreees · 23/09/2025 17:08

I think that telling people they must be ‘envious’ of someone who does look underweight is as problematic as commenting on anyone’s body in the first place. I agree with the previous posters comments; it is very sad that women in the public eye are scrutinised for their appearance. It must take a psychological toll.

But that’s the thing, I don’t think she looks underweight.

losingstill · 23/09/2025 17:39

Yes commenting on a woman’s appearance must be detrimental to their mental health. It’s a shame the same posters don’t take the same view when criticising MM for her choice of clothes. Apparently it’s ok to criticise her and it’s not jealousy but when there is any criticism of KM the same posters are quick to defend.

Well I disagree, as do other posters. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Ahh deflection & obfuscation
I am challenging you dropping that a journalist told you something as if that irrefutably makes it so
Journalists aren’t all known for their veracity

Oh come on! where has Meghan been described on that thread as skeletal, haggard, lined, wearing a wig, looks old, anorexic or is apparently addicted to laxatives? Just a few comments I’ve picked out. This whole thread is dedicated to picking apart Kate’s looks, hair and figure, the comments on Meghan’s dress not suiting her figure are in no way any comparison, for a start it’s not a thread about Meghan’s looks unlike this one, the thread has commented on her dress she recently wore not looking good on her and not suiting her shape.

Delphigirl · 23/09/2025 18:33

But Meghan doesn’t look skeletal, haggard, lined, wearing a wig, old, or anorexic, so why would anyone say so?
