Natasha Archer’s Instagram Following

I’m somewhat fascinated by the instagram following of Kate’s former stylist and personal assistant of 15 years.

Understandable to monitor fashion blogs like whatmeghanwore but what’s the interest in Heather Dorak or Daniel Martin?

She even followed Meghan and asever before hastily unfollowing - why hide now?

Perhaps part of her new luxury fashion consultancy is keeping tabs on in-laws friends and associates.

Maybe she didn't realise other people can see who she is following. I do think that's a bit embarrassing for Kate's team. If they're so bothered they're following the make-up artist guy, it's a stretch to believe they didn't read Spare and watch the Netflix documentary (they've always liked to give an air of 'we don't watch/read that kind of thing' - certainly it was said that the Queen would only be given an overview of the content of the Winfrey interview but wouldn't watch it herself).

She is unfollowing a lot of people now. Maybe to differentiate between her old and new role.

Not that the old role explains why she was interested in a hair stylist from L.A. or a Pilates instructor based in Texas.

Der…and I thought Daniel Martin was a novel by John Fowles.

I’ll get me coat…

What’s confusing? The future Queen’s right hand woman (as defined by the press) is recently revealed to have taken an interest in Meghan’s inner circle.

That clear things up?

Frankly - no! I’m even more confused now.

Do you mean ‘the Queen’s right-hand woman’? I thought this person was Catherine’s stylist. But I’m not up-to-speed on this story, I admit.

I don’t see anything odd about her following Meghan. Blimey, the SS are always claiming that Catherine copies Meghan (as if), so she might have kept tabs for that reason - precisely to try and avoid clashes.

Aah -the future Queen. I’m sorry.

I don’t see anything strange, though.

Not2identifying · 11/07/2025 10:22

I agree that keeping tabs on what Meghan's wearing to avoid clashes would be a good reason to keep an eye out but not to follow all those people. In fact, I wouldn't have wanted to have been caught following any of them, I would have just looked at the best fashion one without actively following them (I assume this is possible - I don't use Instagram).

You don’t find it strange that she was following Meghan’s hair stylist, make up artist, pilates instructor, close friends?

Why would she be keeping tabs on those people?

Natasha has previously styled Kate in the outfit Abigail Spencer wore to Meghans wedding. So she did take some fashion inspiration from her, at least once.

Well no - for the reasons I gave above. I don’t know if you go on Celebitchy, or are otherwise au fait with the fantasies of the Sussex Squad, but that crowd are absolutely OBSESSED with the idea that Catherine copies everything M does - hair, clothes, makeup. If I were this lady I’d see it as part of my job to avoid giving them any fuel.

It’s a reach but I’ll take it. Still doesn’t explain the Pilates instructor or close friends. Especially Heather who’s a pretty private person.

@tataler I don't think wearing a dress once worn by M's friend is a sign of copying. There are loads of overlaps because the world of expensive dresses is limited in size (I think just about all European royal women have worn a buttoned, belted Beulah dress in a variety of pastel shades!). And Kate has worn Aquazzura heels since M first wore them regularly. So she's not avoiding labels associated with M completely, but will probably just need a general idea.

I still think Natasha following all those people was weird and embarrassing for Kate.

I think exactly this.

Quite.
So, in the same way, it makes sense for a stylist to follow Meghan rather than the PoW herself.
It would be odd to think the RF don't keep an eye on H&M.
If there's a wasp in the room I prefer to know where it is.

Soonenough · 11/07/2025 10:36

I thought this was about The Archers Radio 4 show 😂 And wondered what it had to do with the Royal Family.

Still weird behaviour from Kate’s stylist. She and no reason following the likes of Heather. I’d have had her blocked immediately.

I know!

I’m not very hot on who some of these people are myself. I bet this woman will be able to forget about Meghan if she’s moving on from royal service though.

I’ve always thought the C copiesM narrative ridiculous because they are in totally different situations in life. Meghan can wear basically what she likes and C will have all kinds of considerations to restrict her choices. C is dressing for her job - and a very formal one at that. M is a celebrity who has complete freedom over clothes. But that’s SS people for you - they (and Meghan) never did get that royalty and celebrity are very different things.

But the optics are terrible are they not? Why not have a private account to do your research? Celebitchy will dine out on this forever more.

I let them have that one but it’s interesting that all the watching out for clashes didn’t stop Natasha from styling Kate in Meghan’s exact blue and black Aquazzura’s.

And I love the way folks pretend Kate didn’t go from structured coats as a staple to a more modern wardrobe after Meghan married in. Even tabloids will tell you that. Drab to fab they called it.

But Celebitchy has no power. Kate has the tabloids and establishment press like the Times and Telegraph behind her. I wouldn’t be bothered by the likes of that blog tbh

Oh no -I don’t know if we are talking about the same thing here but I hate Meghan’s open coats. They looked awful on her official duties - just like someone who couldn’t be bothered.

Fasten your coat up, woman!
