I’m somewhat fascinated by the instagram following of Kate’s former stylist and personal assistant of 15 years.

Understandable to monitor fashion blogs like whatmeghanwore but what’s the interest in Heather Dorak or Daniel Martin?

She even followed Meghan and asever before hastily unfollowing - why hide now?

Perhaps part of her new luxury fashion consultancy is keeping tabs on in-laws friends and associates.

But it makes no sense!

Can you explain why you think Catherine would want to copy Meghan? Meghan’s life is literally thousands of miles away from C’s. This is a tenet of the SS’s religion - but it baffles me. Why on earth would C wish to even think of Meghan after what she did, let alone copy her.

Meghan’s style isn’t appropriate for C’s line of work either….they live completely different lives.

It’s totally bonkers on every level. But the SS cling to this idea like an article of faith.

The Sussex Squad concocts various narratives to attack the Princess of Wales. Social media is filled to the brim with their overt malice. The whole copying is one such narrative along with the lies that the Princess did not have cancer.

The various ladies in the European royal households have at various times worn clothing that was similar as they are on trend in that period of time. No one has accused Queen Mary of copying the Princess of Wales when they both wore the same gown. Most people are aware that fashion is cyclical, and the fashion is trending towards the less formal.

It is pure desperation that causes them to try to attach their spread drop-shipper to the Princess with the tiara at the State Dinner.

I don’t know, maybe someone should ask Kate and her staff, like Natasha, why they were following Meghan and copying her outfits. It really doesn’t make much sense unless it was about insecurity or chasing headlines.

“Kate and her staff”? Why link the two? Who NA follows on SM is absolutely nothing to do with her (ex) boss. I think the heat may be getting to some people.

Spectre8 · 11/07/2025 21:02

@CoffeeCantata and if this was the other way round and it was Meghans stylist following Kates people what would your response be?

To say oh its nothing its perfectly okay. Ha! We all know you would be here criticising her and saying look more evidence of Meghan being obsessed with Kate.

wordler · 11/07/2025 21:07

To be fair the narrative is driven by the tabloids too. A really good example is Kate wearing a yellow sheath dress to Wimbledon after Meghan had worn a yellow sheath dress for something. So the Mail or the Express had a headline which was something like Kate copies Meghan's dress.

But if you google Kate and yellow sheath dresses she'd worn two on two different occasions years before Meghan was even on the scene.

There are actually many more 'copy' incidents of Meghan following Kate's outfits.

However... I don't believe Meghan is copying Kate - it's just fashion is fairly repetitive and unfortunately for Meghan Kate had many years of engagements and hundreds of outfits in her past - covering almost every colour, style and brand available. It would have been nearly impossible not to replicate looks.

And brands come into fashion and everyone under the sun starts wearing them while they are popular - the Aquazurra shoes for example. Yes, Meghan wore them first but then everyone was wearing them so it wasn't odd that Kate might fancy a pair too.

It’s only you and the SS who keep banging on about ‘Kate copying Meghan’. It’s an obsession (a soothing one for Meghan fans) but it’s just fantasy and paranoia.

It’s all in your mind! Catherine is Princess of Wales - why would she want to copy someone like Meghan,(who actually tried to destroy her)?

Its completely bonkers and illogical.🤔

But this didnt happened, right? Meghan's friends and associates didnt follow Kate friends back. The fact is that Kate closest staff was stalking not only Meghan but her associates that are private people

Just to note - following someone’s public instagram page is not absolutely not stalking, and likewise you cannot claim that the posts people make on their public pages are private.

CoffeeCantata · 11/07/2025 21:18

@Nagginthenag

Wow - that’s definitely…different!

But in terms of how the British RF operates it wouldn’t work. They’re not supposed to grab the limelight, which you certainly would in these get-ups.

Exactly - it was all public.

Nothing to see here.

No one’s attacking anyone, just stating facts. It wasn’t Meghan’s stylist stalking Kate and her friends; it was the other way around. The media was vicious toward Meghan, not Kate. But deflection is real.
Even with clear receipts showing that palace staff—specifically Kate’s right hand, her stylist Natasha—was following Meghan, her closest friends, and copying her outfits and overall image, Kate’s fans still deny it. That level of projection says a lot.
Let’s be honest: Natasha was following people of Meghan's inner life who didn’t even follow her back and then when she left the palace she unfollowed. That’s not casual interest, that’s deliberate. This is serious, and no amount of denial or “what ifs” of situations that didnt happen will change what the receipts show.

Serenster · 11/07/2025 21:30

“Keep your friends close, keep your enemies closer” no? Still not stalking though.

Also, people with far more time and energy than me have pulled together detailed collages showing (a) how royal women tend to wear similar styles and (b) plenty of outfits Meghan has worn are very similar to styles Kate has previously worn. And yes, Kate has also worn styles that are very similar to what Meghan has previously worn. Two very different women doing different jobs in different countries. Is it a deal?

'This is serious, and no amount of denial or “what ifs” of situations that didnt happen will change what the receipts show.'

This is serious.....? No, it really isn't! There is no 'stalking', someone who works in style and fashion followed someone else who works in style and fashion on social media. Quelle surprise. These people aren't just working for Meghan (in her inner life - good grief...) they all gave other clients.

MSM have been appalling to Kate at times - remember the 'Where's Kate' narrative. For a woman who's done absolutely nothing to warrant the vitriol which comes her way from the Sussex fanatics, or MSM, she's regularly on the receiving end of pretty vile stuff.

It clearly shows that palace staff were obsessively stalking Meghan, monitoring her life, copying her move, while simultaneously allowing her to be bashed publicly. This isn’t just messy, it’s serious. It’s another receipt that proves how calculated and shady things were behind the scenes.

They weren’t just following Meghan, they were tracking hate bashing accounts, "What Meghan Wore" pages, her close friends, business partners, even her hairstylist. Private people from her inner circle. That’s not coincidence. That’s stalkerish, deranged, and deeply disrespectful behavior. There’s no way to spin this as anything other than deliberate surveillance.

Unless we’re expected to believe that Meghan’s friends and hairstylist are somehow palace “enemies” Kate's staff needed to monitor? That logic doesn’t hold up. The truth is clear and disturbing.

The keeping your enemies close comment was tongue in cheek. But Meghan gives every appearance of having an agenda against Kate. In Kate’s shoes, I would definitely keep tabs on her.

Natasha Archer folllowed Abigail Spencer, Meghan’s friend. Kate was seen wearing an Alessandra Rich dress that Abigail wore to Meghan’s wedding. Maybe Natasha Archer saw that and liked Abigail’s style?

By the way, Meghan also later wore the same Heidi Merrick white dress (to the Sentabale polo tournament) that Abigail Spencer was also seen wearing on her instagram. Is that also disturbing? Or did Meghan also like Abigail’s style?

Do you also agree MSM has also been pretty vile towards Meghan too and there are people who continue to be like towards her aswell

Why would the P of W want to copy Meghan, though? No-one has ever explained this.
C is a royal - she’ll be Queen one day. Yet you honestly think she wants to emulate Meghan- a cookie-mix salesperson ? But why?

One answer seemed to be "chasing headlines".

Yup, the PoW wouldn't get a look in if it weren't for sweet nods to Meghan's style.

Oh, definitely, MSM are generally horrible to women who marry into the rf. But I don't think anything about Meghan has been on the scale of the Sussex Squad vilification of Kate (and William) - that is truly, mind bogglingly unhinged. Completely deranged. About a woman who has done precisely nothing. Well, didn't want to share a lipstick.

I thought Catherine was an old fashioned frump yet she apparently copies Meghan…..🤔 make it make sense.

I think nothing women get there fair share. There's plenty od vilificsfion of Meghan on this board by the constant threads about her over the years. Its never stopped. So I sont see why there needs ro be some sort of competition about who has it worse. It shouldn't happen to either.

Still waiting for examples of Catherine copying Meghan. Looking forward to wrinkled, too big trousers, price tags hanging down from
ill fitting dresses and tits out at the polo dupes.

You were around when all the 'Where's Kate' posters slunk off, no doubt embarrassed by their cruel posts about a woman, who it turned out, had cancer.
