Natasha Archer’s Instagram Following

I’m somewhat fascinated by the instagram following of Kate’s former stylist and personal assistant of 15 years.

Understandable to monitor fashion blogs like whatmeghanwore but what’s the interest in Heather Dorak or Daniel Martin?

She even followed Meghan and asever before hastily unfollowing - why hide now?

Perhaps part of her new luxury fashion consultancy is keeping tabs on in-laws friends and associates.

Of course, she can follow whoever she likes, but on a public, professional account it looks really odd to follow people closely associated with MM. People will read into it. Surely you can see that??

No I don’t see that!
all I see is a thread started by a self confessed member of the Sussex squad, designed to speculate and push some kind of agenda.
as far as people know the royal family have never said anything negative publicly about Harry or Meghan , the negativity comes from one direction only , there is no “war” or “feud” with people who don’t reply .

tataler · 11/07/2025 13:06

I think it’s been a nice discussion. Some don’t see the issue with it and a few do.

Shes unfollowed nearly all of them apart from Meghan’s hair stylist and friend Abigail.

I still think Natasha following all those people was weird and embarrassing for Kate.

Maybe it just signifies that Kate and her inner circle are very well aware that Meghan has a clear agenda of coming after Kate, and they keep tabs on what Meghan’s associates are saying and doing?

(I agree, she should have had the foresight to clean up her following list before going public, but it makes me think more of Kate, not less, actually. Who wouldn’t keep an eye on someone who’s got it in for you?)

Serenster · 11/07/2025 13:15

Also, as for the posters at Celebitchy dining out on this forever - they still fondly believe that Kate has been severely constrained in what she can wear and what events she can attend because she and William have separated and therefore she’s kept on a very tight leash pending the official divorce announcement. So they were confidently asserting that Charles won’t let her do evening functions and won’t let her wear tiaras any more.

It must have been a tough day at Celebitchy when the Princess of Wales attended both the official welcome ceremony and the state banquet, wearing QEII’s pearls and her usual tiara, and was seated right next to the guest of honour. They live nowhere near reality, so something else they can twist to fit their narrative is neither here nor there. If it didn’t exist, they would make it up…

jeffgoldblum · 11/07/2025 13:19

@Serenster I’m just hoping this poor woman will be left alone and not drawn into any Sussex nonsense.

Serenster · 11/07/2025 13:23

She has worked for Kate for 15 years. Sadly, of course she will be a target for the Sussex nonsense.

True !
but I naively hoped mn would be the exception.

My2cents1975 · 11/07/2025 13:29

Investigative journalism has dropped the ball on the Sussex Squad and its links to unhinged forums like celebitchy or on reddit where a forum has a headline that the Princess of Wales is missing.

It is very concerning that someone can parrot unhinged forums where people are happy to post that a high-profile woman is being harmed and abused for sport and is not flagged by mumsnet moderators.

Inventing false narratives of domestic violence, abuse, adultery and delighting in their two minutes hate is par for the course from superfans, who are so bitter that the character assassination did not work, and the Princess of Wales remains the toast of the town.

Nagginthenag · 11/07/2025 13:35

'What they write is pretty tame for all the vileness I see about Meghan in the mainstream media.'

Sorry, do you mean what is written on Celebitchy about the royal family (especially Kate and William) is tame to what's written about Meghan in the mainstream media? Have you ever seen Celebitchy? It's an absolute cess pit, seriously depraved tbh.

FancyBiscuitsLevel · 11/07/2025 13:39

Kates style clearly got more relaxed /fashionable after Meghan arrived - the bitchy interpretation is Kate felt she had to compete. The more generous is that Kate felt when she married in, she had to wrap herself in an older, dated style, and Meghan let her see it was ok to wear more what she fancied. It might be a bit of both. It’s hardly surprising that two middle aged wealthy women have similar clothing styles.

it does make sense that someone styling Kate would stalk Meghans inner circle- if Kate is seen wearing exactly the same thing it would be a bit embarrassing, but as Meghan doesn’t do many public engagements, details of what Meghan’s wearing are more likely to be gathered from the socials of her friends/staff/contacts/own business posts. If they fuck up and put Kate in something Meghan was seen wearing the week before, the Daily Mail would run so many stories about it. Not worth the risk.

However, yes embarrassing to be so obvious about it when the official line is an aloofness about the Sussexes. A fake account to monitor would have been much more sensible.

Who Natasha Archer follows isn’t necessarily a reflection of C’s interests. It could just be professional due diligence at work. Conversely it may be entirely personal interest, and she’s entitled to those.

Off topic but Meghan should feature fictional Natasha Archer as one of her female founders and inspirational businesswomen. They could talk about veg boxes and the Tea Room.

Compared to the utter vileness about Meghan. Kate is in paradise.

Have you seen the saint Meghan Markle subreddit?

I let them have that one but it’s interesting that all the watching out for clashes didn’t stop Natasha from styling Kate in Meghan’s exact blue and black Aquazzura’s.

Princess of Wales re-wears £645 Aquazzura heels favoured by Meghan Markle to reopen National Portrait Gallery

Didn't Meghan steal hers from the Reitmans shoot?

It’s perfectly fine to have hated Meghan’s outfits. My point was the shift in Kate’s overall style.

I thought Catherine is still too old fashioned according to the regular Kate haters on this board? In any event, her style has changed since QEII died, coinciding with her much elevated status and autonomy within the RF and her post baby phase life. Meghan very rarely dresses appropriately or even chicly for an occasion, whereas Catherine is always on point for her royal - note royal, not celebrity - duties. You would never catch Catherine in the vast majority of clothes Meghan wears, especially some of the inappropriate horrors she has worn on her faux royal tours. Meghan does have great casual style, but that's not exactly rocket science when it comes to dressing, is it, nor especially unique to Meghan.

fredscat · 11/07/2025 16:05

why does someone have to tear Meghan down to defend Kate.
IMO they both dress well and have their own styles.

This thread is about Catherine apparently copying Meghan. Keep up.

she definitely got more modern

munchingmunch · 11/07/2025 16:13

I think her style has improved but she is still
quite old fashioned. Both things can be true. I'm not a hater, it's just critiquing clothes. Kate doesn't seem that interested in fashion which is her prerogative.

itcontinuesforever · 11/07/2025 16:39

Any criticism of Kate seems to gets the Kate defenders riled up and very defensive. Not everything is black or white eg Kate good Meghan bad no one is perfect.

I think this thread is a sign of desperation tbh!

And if it was the other way round and it was Meghans stylist who was found to have been following Kates stylist and other related ppl what woukd your response be? This? Or ur usual ripping her apart. Yes we all know tou wild be here ceiricisng her and talking hwondesperate she is to copy Kate and how she is obsessed with her.

So what's the point of this thread then? If not to create this division. The OP is card carrying Sussex Squad and a Meghan Stan (she says as much on other threads, so that's no insult to her).

I think it’s perfectly obvious that Meghan follows what the British Royal family are up to. She pops up often enough with some activity to coincide with theirs!

Not2identifying · 11/07/2025 17:16

Yes, @Serenster, Meghan is definitely paying attention to the BRF as well. Way too many coincidences with dates/events/launches.

But I'd say H&M have generally been a bit undignified about everything to do with the royals whereas the royals have tried to maintain distance and dignity by not commenting, etc. That's why I'm genuinely really surprised that Natasha was openly following so many people in M's orbit.
