I’m somewhat fascinated by the instagram following of Kate’s former stylist and personal assistant of 15 years.

Understandable to monitor fashion blogs like whatmeghanwore but what’s the interest in Heather Dorak or Daniel Martin?

She even followed Meghan and asever before hastily unfollowing - why hide now?

Perhaps part of her new luxury fashion consultancy is keeping tabs on in-laws friends and associates.

And as I've pointed out several times, Kate has done the square root of bugger all to deserve the vilification.

Serenster · 11/07/2025 22:32

There’s a big difference though. Threads about Meghan are about what she’s actually done - most recently her instagram posts, As Ever business, her podcast and her With love, Meghsn to series. Meghan has done a lot this year.

In contrast, Kate, self- confessedly finding it hard picking up the reins of her normal life after cancer, has not been out so much, and last year was hardly seen at all. And was subject to an extraordinary degree of highly unpleasant speculation for simply bring on sick leave.

The two situations are not the same.

Why would the P of W want to copy Meghan, though? No-one has ever explained this.
C is a royal - she’ll be Queen one day. Yet you honestly think she wants to emulate Meghan- a cookie-mix salesperson ? But why?

It’s bizarre isn’t it, the superstans probably think if Meghan wears a jacket and then Kate wears a jacket she is copying Meghan 🙄 we have to remember the mentality of the superstans.

Sunnyfox · 11/07/2025 21:24

No one’s attacking anyone, just stating facts. It wasn’t Meghan’s stylist stalking Kate and her friends; it was the other way around. The media was vicious toward Meghan, not Kate. But deflection is real.
Even with clear receipts showing that palace staff—specifically Kate’s right hand, her stylist Natasha—was following Meghan, her closest friends, and copying her outfits and overall image, Kate’s fans still deny it. That level of projection says a lot.
Let’s be honest: Natasha was following people of Meghan's inner life who didn’t even follow her back and then when she left the palace she unfollowed. That’s not casual interest, that’s deliberate. This is serious, and no amount of denial or “what ifs” of situations that didnt happen will change what the receipts show.

Well show us the pics then! With the dates so we can cross reference.

The idea of Kate copying Meghan or visa Versa is ridiculous. What would suit one would not suit the other.
but threads like just feed the WS v SS.

Oh come on!

It just sounds silly when you say stuff like that!

@LaMarschallin LOL sorry! Missed the sarcasm!

PigeonDress · 11/07/2025 23:05

@Sunnyfox you have asserted that Catherine copied Meghan and changed her style to match Meghan's. Can you provide some time stamped pictorial examples? What do you say about @Serenster 's post of 21.30 showing numerous instances of Meghan wearing styles very similar to styles worn by Catherine years before Meghan came on the scene? Including Meghan's first wedding dress.

What is your opinion of Serenster's post at 9.30 and the pictures therein?

Honestly this is creepy, but I will try to not reach conclusions.

Kate has also repeated Diana’s exact outfits and even looks worn by William’s exes like Jecca. So she just tends to take deep inspiration from other women? Personally, I like to think it’s more of a homage or admiration, but when it's done while another woman is being publicly targeted, it becomes a lot more complicated, lets hope thats not Kate's fault, who just wanted to show admiration and sisterhood, more fault of the media smearing and trying to pit women against each other. I see no problem in using outfits of other wonen, it's flattering and shows she appreciates the style of people like Meghan.

Have you got any evidence that Catherine has copied Meghan? Because so far, posters like you are asserting this is the case without showing any evidence. Whereas evidence of the reverse situation (Meghan copying Catherine) has been posted.

What a very strange post. I'd be interested to see where Kate has 'repeated Diana's exact outfits and looks worn by William's exes.

Or it could just be that there's a finite amount of clothes and styles, and even if someone's not wearing M&S bestsellers, there's a pretty big chance they're going to wear something similar to a thing someone else once wore.

really just takes some basic research, surely you don’t expect me to post every single example one by one, right? This has been obvious for a while to anyone who’s followed the royal family even casually and has a basic understanding of fashion. Or not even that as in many cases, Kate didn’t just take inspirationshe wore nearly identical outfits, sometimes with minimal or no changes at all, not even swapping out a similar piece like trousers.

Btw I don’t see a huge issue with it. Neither Megan nor Diana owned any brand or used look, so if another public figure wears the same even repeatdly, it’s not the end of the world. Honestly, I think it’s more flattering than anything, Kate being is kind enough to take inspiration from other women or her own family doesn’t have to be seen as negative, better for the brand getting more exposition, as long theres no gasslight about It ofc

At least Catherine has not taken to hugging Diana’s gravestone, or having her photo in the bedroom when ttc. Or wearing Diana’s
perfume 🤷‍♀️

So you can't provide an example, then.

Well, no, but you've been so insistent that Kate is copying every man and their dog, with literally zero evidence, that a few pictures to prove your point would help your specious argument.

jeffgoldblum · 11/07/2025 23:49

Unless Catherine starts wearing multitudes of beige and too long baggy trousers, I fail to see how she is copying Meghan 🤷‍♀️ .

Oh yeah, that’s bizarre of Harry too. We really don’t know what she and William do or doesn’t do in her private life we’re not privy to it the way we were spilled with Harry’s book. But honestly, the whole family seems a bit messed up… and delightfully dysfunctional.

My2cents1975 · 11/07/2025 23:52

Why on earth would any woman ask a pregnant woman for lip gloss?

After age twelve, most girls know better than to share makeup. And all the public complaints came after A was born so M would have known that pregnant women have lowered immune systems.

M and her superfans should be completely embarrassed but as evidenced by the raw chicken fiasco on the cooking show, hygiene is not an imperative.

jeffgoldblum · 11/07/2025 23:53

Serenster · 11/07/2025 21:30

“Keep your friends close, keep your enemies closer” no? Still not stalking though.

Also, people with far more time and energy than me have pulled together detailed collages showing (a) how royal women tend to wear similar styles and (b) plenty of outfits Meghan has worn are very similar to styles Kate has previously worn. And yes, Kate has also worn styles that are very similar to what Meghan has previously worn. Two very different women doing different jobs in different countries. Is it a deal?

Now let’s see the collage of all Diana’s looks that Meghan copied!

Anyway as predicted a thread started by a self confessed member of the Sussex squad, was actually a clear cut case of pushing an agenda of criticism towards Catherine, only this time it’s through the lens of her ex stylist!

Why all the agitation that’s exactly what the numerous threads on this board are used for as an agenda of criticism towards Meghan. Don’t see why you are getting so worked up about it as it works both ways. Or is it the case no one can criticise the saintly Kate.
