I’m somewhat fascinated by the instagram following of Kate’s former stylist and personal assistant of 15 years.

Understandable to monitor fashion blogs like whatmeghanwore but what’s the interest in Heather Dorak or Daniel Martin?

She even followed Meghan and asever before hastily unfollowing - why hide now?

Perhaps part of her new luxury fashion consultancy is keeping tabs on in-laws friends and associates.

It’s perfectly fine to have hated Meghan’s outfits. My point was the shift in Kate’s overall style.

Yes, at one point it was a relief to see Kate not wearing a trouser suit and that definitely seemed to be influenced by Meghan.

Keeping an eye = perfectly valid
Visibly keeping an eye = embarrassing

I have no idea of the reach or power or number of subscribers of Celebitchy. (Looking at the usernames, it does seem pretty restricted). I hope for all our sakes that these twisted and vicious people are a tiny minority. It is most certainly the most ridiculous echo chamber I’ve come across.

But it is a hate site, perpetuating the false allegations made by M against Catherine and since C is in line to be Queen, that’s more than just a personal, trivial matter. Fashion choices may not be important, sure, but the anti-British venom on there is very depressing, and based on ignorance and misunderstanding of UK culture.

The cruelty and callousness towards a mother with cancer and her husband who has committed the crime of losing some of his hair has to be read to be believed.

What they write is pretty tame for all the vileness I see about Meghan in the mainstream media.

Kate is fetted every where else. She will be just fine.

These threads both sides are pure stupidity, nearly all outfits can be traced back to Diana, not because Diana was some sort of fashion icon but because that's how style works. Thankfully both Catherine and Meghan wore clothes before 2016 as there is often proof even then there can be cross overs. There is nothing to suggest that the following may have happened when Meghan was still in good terms. Neither of them have invented a fashion style. They both wear clothes.

I think this is a genuinely interesting point but I’d argue that Covid and all the societal changes that brought, as well as C’s illness and her re-assessment of what matters in life are just as likely to be factors in a move to increased informality in all kinds of aspects of her style.

I really don’t think C would choose to emulate the very person who tried to destroy her. I know I wouldn’t!

Agree 100% with this. Whatever M wore/said/did in the recent past needed to be completely avoided by Kate for weeks.

It would be part of this woman’s job to keep tabs on this information.

she has recently left to start her own business, so she is not going to be “right hand woman to the future queen “

and I fail to see why a previous assistant to the royal family cannot follow whoever she likes on any forum , she was an employee not a slave , they are allowed their own thoughts and opinions.

Of course, she can follow whoever she likes, but on a public, professional account it looks really odd to follow people closely associated with MM. People will read into it. Surely you can see that??
