As per the DM, we are told Meg is using Fairwinds Estate winery for her rose. Sounds nice.
But a Reddit user has discovered, that Fairwinds winery is just a brand under the umbrella of Wine gift shop. They do corporate gifts and print on demand. Oh Meg, as ever

Its kind of looking like she has little or no influence on where the goods are sourced though, considering Netflix are handling the business side of AsEver.

It seems the Wine Gift Shop buy Fairwinds Estates wines , maybe already bottled, and then labels and packages them for personalised corporate gifts etc, which means there are probably low minimum orders, (20 bottles labelled with As Ever, sold out in less than an hour).

No it does seem that way.

There was a really interesting thread on Reddit the other day saying the same. That she has no control and this is all Netflix. What I think she gets full control over, is the aesthetics and what she wants the brand image to be - her live, laugh, loving in the Monticeto sun. I think that’s what makes her think she has control, but she cleary isn’t when you see the companies that are being used.

It’s a brand deal and NF are using all their usual partners- she just picks the colours….beige

She's made no attempt to promote the provenance of her products, explain the ingredients, how they are made, where they are made, how she's worked with producers etc.

Celebrities linking themselves to food production will usually want to demonstrate their involvement in development and how close they've been to production. How important the authenticity and quality is to them etc etc.

But meg has just put out nebulous photos of her in her garden and then slapped labels on some mass produced shite which she can't even pretend she's had any involvement in sourcing ingredients, developing recipes, working with producers etc.

It's so clear this is just a cynical exercise in slapping a label on basic mass market products that she has no connection to.

It's embarrassing.

ThePoshUns · 29/06/2025 09:39

It’s fine if she wants to do this but do t make out like she’s running her own business, building her own brand etc;
So full of shit. As Ever.
The likes of Emma Grede, Gwyneth et al must be laughing up
their sleeves at her .

JSMill · 29/06/2025 11:57

Are they still launching it on July 1st?

AtIusvue · 29/06/2025 12:07

Think so

There is definitely money to be made from drop shipping. However you are reliant on suppliers being ethical and honest businesses who are able to deliver the promised quality. If you don’t do your due diligence that could leave a careless person very exposed.

PullTheBricksDown · 29/06/2025 12:18

This does surely mean though that there can't be problems with stock levels? In other words, if we get the 'everything sold out within hours!!' message, then that's obviously a put up job, contrived to make it look more popular than it is.

Exactly. There’s no stock issues at all. They can easily increase inventory.

It’s all a PR tactic to get headlines and hype the business.

Can’t stand the woman but I am supportive of the As Ever venture.
They need money to live their lifestyle and it appears she’s found her niche.
It can’t be easy having H for a hubby who does nothing but sulk and whinge.

Exactly. He’s a petulant man-child who needs to STFU.

Vespanest · 29/06/2025 13:59

If this could make the money, there would be no need for the drop shipping and the limited to sell out PR. I'm having trouble believing that this is covering the cost of the PR/Communication that is forever changing. I'm confused with the wine, was yesterday links false paperwork? Nothing screams unsuccessful more that PR hirings and firings and crisis PR.

Because she’s an idiot woman baby.

Celeb wine labels aren’t my thing, but I thought I’d seen licenses for sale/shipping from this winery in Sonoma: https://www.kunde.com/

They do a rose, but it isn’t cheap.

Why all the criticism she is trying to make a living she isn’t harming anyone. Perhaps some posters are only happy if she is trashing the almighty RF. If there is legitimate reason to hate then do so but not when she is trying to make a living. Or is that the reason you want them to come back into the fold and live off the tax payers like the rest of them.

Please - don’t let them come back - the horror!

The reason people are mocking her is because of her pretension. She has no genuine interest in, or skill, where food and drink is concerned but she’s posing as a connoisseur and lifestyle/food guru. Her As Ever products are not personal to her in any way. They’re generic white-label items with her labels stuck on. Meghan is doing interviews and putting out promotional SM giving a false impression of her involvement with these products.

i hope that answers your questions.

I can't stand either of them, but H and his royal status is the only reason anyone in Hollywood will look twice at M. She's nothing without him except a washed up ex-actress with some gossip to pedal.

She's a businesswoman not a puppy. Stop infantalising her. She's selling a product/lifestyle brand as "authentic" and needs to convince the public that's what she and it is. So far she has failed. No business is owed anyone's goodwill or is free of critical discussion.

I agree. It’s time they dropped the royalty and links and relied on their own talent.

itcontinuesforever · 29/06/2025 14:59

You can only work with what you have. They obviously don’t have much talent but as far as I am concerned they are trying to make a dollar and not harming anyone. I can’t really get worked up about what she is doing unlike some posters who seem to scrutinise every minute detail of what she does.
