He's said it looked like fun!

He works so hard he must've prepped for months studying his lines etc.

The actresses certainly didn't work half as hard as he does and we're simply having fun telling such a traumatic story.

Whats wrong with finding film superficial anyway? Of course it is. Hardly useful is it? Yes it makes more money than other industries but it's literally make believe fun, nothing like eg teaching or nursing or working in food production. Of course people can love it but you can't really deny the whole media industry is shallow. Maybe news is a bit more valid but its still just for clicks. Or to entertain. Ergo superficial.

But the ‘royals’ took all they have at the point a sword . They dress up in unearned military regalia . They parade with the forces and are ‘head’ of regiment despite being totally unsuitable . They identify with war and violence and much of their ‘glory’ relates to colonisation

Possibly listen to the important film makers of this generation and why they pursue their particular art, or embrace particular subjects. Spielberg on Schindler's List for example. The subject matter there is regrettably the polar opposite of 'make believe fun'. Spielberg didn't take any profits from the film either, precisely because of its subject matter.

Most of us are able to obtain and process information about real life atrocities such as the holocaust from better sources than Hollywood movies.

how about Harry for how he’s implicated in the African parks scandal? And for overshadowing a native woman?

It's about reaching a wide audience though, and that's its unique value.

The entire family deserve roasting on Twitter on a frequent basis. But for today, William deserves it the most.

Issue is, movies always dumb down, as there are time constraints and their main objective is to keep the viewer hooked, entertained.

Far better ways to learn about nuanced complex issues.

It looks like he lied about watching a film. Why can't people just accept when he is wrong? It makes all the fans seem deluded.

He should have been prepared or just said, congratulations - and if asked, no I haven't had an opportunity to watch.
I think everyone would understand and sympathise given their current family circumstances. There was absolutely no reason to lie.
