There's enough for another book! Prince Harry says he cut his memoir in HALF and stripped out details about his father and brother - as he claims he has 'long-term' aim to 'fix' the monarchy!

What an arrogant and deluded oaf!

The Duke of Sussex told The Telegraph he chose to leave out several bombshells because he was concerned his father and brother would not 'ever forgive' him.

'The first draft was different. It was 800 pages, and now it's down to 400 pages. It could have been two books, put it that way. And the hard bit was taking things out.

'There are some things that have happened, especially between me and my brother, and to some extent between me and my father, that I just don't want the world to know. Because I don't think they would ever forgive me.'

Harry also revealed his motivation to speak out so publicly against the Firm is to ultimately 'save [his family] from themselves'.

He detailed plans to derail the relationship between the Royal family and the press, expressing his belief that in doing so he can protect future divisions in the family.

After the dust has settled, he expressed a hope that he and Meghan can reconnect with his family - even if they don't particularly like his decision to share 'his truth'.

😂😂😂😂😂

if he’s telling the truth, I feel a bit cheated he left out the good stuff 😂

idonotmind · 13/01/2023 19:00

Great stuff

SchrodingersKettle · 13/01/2023 19:01

His reasoning is unhinged. I can’t see why they would ever engage in conversation with him ever again - the risk of his one-sided presentation of “his truth” is too great. Fool me once, and all that.

He is not a clever man, and he seems to have bad advisors. I hope I’m with the majority in feeling exceptionally sympathetic to W&K. H&M have lost my sympathy. I wish them well, but even more I just wish they’d shut up, for their own sakes.

Can it really be worth the cash? I’d be mortified if any of my relatives sold personal conversations for profit. I could never forgive it.

Id wouldn’t blame W for disowning H, let alone never reconciling. I’d be embarrassed to be associated with him at this point in time.

PeekAtYou · 13/01/2023 19:01

I thought he had a 3 book deal ?

Wauden · 13/01/2023 19:03

I thought I had seen it all.

I find it sneaky rhat he has alluded to much more, just leaving that open to wild speculation without anything more.
I do not want any more.

Ohgodthepain · 13/01/2023 19:03

Where did this come from?

StormzyinaTCup · 13/01/2023 19:04

Sounds a lot like blackmail to me - what a knobber!

CoffeandTiaMaria · 13/01/2023 19:04

I’ve just read this on the Telegraph website and the veiled threat is grim and ominous.
I really think he’s even more dangerous now than before.

The Duke also revealed that he felt “responsibility” to reform the monarchy for the sake of Prince George, nine, Princess Charlotte, seven, and Prince Louis, four. “I know that out of those three children, at least one will end up like me, the spare,” he said. “And that hurts, it worries me.”

He admitted that the notion frustrated Prince William, adding: “He has made it very clear to me that his kids are not my responsibility.”

Regardless, he said he liked to “fix” things and was approaching his mission with “long-term, strategic thinking”.

“This is not about trying to collapse the monarchy – this is about trying to save them from themselves,” he claimed. “I know that I will get crucified by numerous people saying that.”

Wauden · 13/01/2023 19:04

Please make it stop.

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 13/01/2023 19:05

Dear God,what else does he have to say?!

Ohgodthepain · 13/01/2023 19:05

And I don't believe he's held back in order to help his family, he's just dangling a carrot so people buy his next book.

purpledalmation · 13/01/2023 19:06

Sounds like blackmail to me too. Apologise and reconcile or the next book comes out with more shit.

Publish and be damned harry you little

MrsDanversGlidesAgain · 13/01/2023 19:08

The Duke also revealed that he felt “responsibility” to reform the monarchy

What an arrogant deluded arse he is. Is he so addled that he forgot he left?

Jordosky · 13/01/2023 19:09

I was initially so indifferent to him but the constant mud slinging, tarnishing reputations with hints which can then quickly be retracted, now the implicit threat made in this way! makes him sound like an abusive partner coercively controlling in public

and white saviour / martyr mindset - wtf, almost as gross as discussing his penis and mother in the sand paragraph 😓🤮

Wauden · 13/01/2023 19:09

Regardless, he said he liked to “fix” things and was approaching his mission with “long-term, strategic thinking”.
Harry, you taunted a disabled matron at Ludgrove, you made fun of a person with disabilities.
You have lost my respect. Shut up.

Ohgodthepain · 13/01/2023 19:10

Someone really needs to have a word with him .

MarshaMelrose · 13/01/2023 19:10

Ugh. Just when you think he's hit the bottom of the pit of vileness, he goes and digs a little bit deeper. He is a foul human being. I feel sorry for his children. Imagine what he'll be like if they don't give him the perfect relationship he expects from them.

Sucessinthenewyear · 13/01/2023 19:10

Bollocks. He held back because he needed something else to write in his next book. He needs to write more books because other than dishing the dirt on his family he doesn’t have any other specialist skills or knowledge to gain an income from.

Josette77 · 13/01/2023 19:11

This is gross. His ego is insane. Sounds like blackmail.

Jordosky · 13/01/2023 19:11

Couldn’t hack the job, that’s fine, move on, he has so much else to focus on.

But now he’s the great reformer? 😂 ok cool story millennial Oliver Cromwell 😂

MrsDanversGlidesAgain · 13/01/2023 19:15

Given that the chances of him being welcomed back by his brother seem to be precisely zero, I don't rate his chances of being welcomed with open arms as some sort of reformer who is going to save the monarchy from itself; and IMO it's the lowest of the low to imply he's doing it for the children because no-one else will. He'll be like the Duke of Windsor - sending letters and proposals that everyone ignores.

AgathaX · 13/01/2023 19:15

The guy is such a tosser. Gobsmacking that he believes his own bullshit.

I agree.

He sounds dangerous and deluded.

And how can he dare to pose as the protector of William's children? Let him worry about his own, growing up with no relationship with almost their entire family on both sides.

He cannot be invited to the Coronation. I don't care about 'protocol'. He is a diplomatic and security risk.

smilesy · 13/01/2023 19:17

He admitted that the notion frustrated Prince William, adding: “He has made it very clear to me that his kids are not my responsibility.”

Wtaf? Who the hell does he think he is trying to dictate to anyone what happens to their kids? He has really lost it!

Jordosky · 13/01/2023 19:17

He’s already given the bullys plenty of material to use against those kids. Plus all the aggro he’s caused, they’ll be feeling the fallout and tension between all the adults. Plus their uncle has suddenly disappeared from their lives.

but yeah he has their interests at heart 😂 his reasons and motivations change a lot!
