There's enough for another book! Prince Harry says he cut his memoir in HALF and stripped out details about his father and brother - as he claims he has 'long-term' aim to 'fix' the monarchy!

What an arrogant and deluded oaf!

The Duke of Sussex told The Telegraph he chose to leave out several bombshells because he was concerned his father and brother would not 'ever forgive' him.

'The first draft was different. It was 800 pages, and now it's down to 400 pages. It could have been two books, put it that way. And the hard bit was taking things out.

'There are some things that have happened, especially between me and my brother, and to some extent between me and my father, that I just don't want the world to know. Because I don't think they would ever forgive me.'

Harry also revealed his motivation to speak out so publicly against the Firm is to ultimately 'save [his family] from themselves'.

He detailed plans to derail the relationship between the Royal family and the press, expressing his belief that in doing so he can protect future divisions in the family.

After the dust has settled, he expressed a hope that he and Meghan can reconnect with his family - even if they don't particularly like his decision to share 'his truth'.

😂😂😂😂😂

Fucks sake Harry STFU.

He will be colluding with Simon Dorante-Day next !

Jordosky · 13/01/2023 19:35

Same Marsha, he’s also made me look at William differently. Previously I would have described him as a malevolent egg. And Charles. Feel sorry for them having to put up with a tantrum throwing history revisionist with a martyr / saviour complex

bakalava · 13/01/2023 19:35

Is there really an appetite for a part 2? Part one may have sold well upon the basis of costly publicity but it wasn't exactly a page turner.

The todger is now established as an unlikely protagonist. Will the whole book be written from it's perspective?

How is this compatible with the loving and compassionate life raising young children together in a free range environment? Oh hang on, that's M's intended angle. She gets all the positive, cute stories by keeping her past and her family well out of it. Doesn't he see how this exposes him?

IGoWalkingAfterMidnight · 13/01/2023 19:29

Two words....Elizabeth Arden.

That's all 🤣

What a testimonial, though. Not just cuticles and chapped lips, todger repair as well. Sales should rocket after that.

Serenster · 13/01/2023 19:37

I really doubt that The Telegraph has any exclusive scoop from Prince Harry this week, given that the whole message of his book is that the UK outrage media are "dangerous".

You know Harry is a massive hypocrite, right? How on earth do you think the Guardian got an an advance copy of the book in order to “leak” the most explosive excerpt in advance to tease sales?

Ohgodthepain · 13/01/2023 19:37

I reckon H will certainly have a target on his back now.

pastypirate · 13/01/2023 19:38

Brill!!! I loved Katie price biog series maybe this will be like that

feellikeanalien · 13/01/2023 19:38

Well at least the Queen isn't here to see her "favourite" grandson trashing her legacy.

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 13/01/2023 19:38

Ah. So is this "I have worse. Be my friend or I'll spill?"

teapotfullofsquash · 13/01/2023 19:38

So, if the Queen had allowed them to stay with the half in half out they wanted. Then I'm assuming he would of kept all this "awful life" crap to himself and they would of carried on within the Royal Family smiling like there was nothing wrong?

He just sounds like a spoilt rich brat who didn't get his own way so is telling (and making up) tales. I didn't realise he was as dim as he actually is. I hope he fact checks his next books correctly.

Ohgodthepain · 13/01/2023 19:39

Yes good point @teapotfullofsquash

Indeed. Nice monarchy you have here, shame if anything happened to it.

Sorry, are you saying 'The Telegraph' invented an interview with Harry?

I'm saying OP should post a link to the interview or whatever the relevant content is rather than expecting people to fish around. And maybe a share token too, as this content seems to be paywalled.

Jordosky · 13/01/2023 19:41

Yup Harry is ok with the media when it says what he wants it to say. And shows enough obsequiousness towards him. Scary, he wants 1984 to be a reality.

also has he only just found out that the media has its own agenda and biases? And most people know so read between the lines and look at a variety of sources then make up their own minds. Maybe he thinks the public str too thick and so he is going into saviour mode for our benefit 🤯😂 also, most of us know about racism and unconscious bias and condemn it. Just cos he’s just found out about it, no need to mansplain to the plebs

He's only against the tabloids because his family brief those against him and anyway, common people read those. Briefind a quality paper that the right sort of people read is different.

If that is what you were saying, you had a remarkably inarticulate way of saying it.

You were clearly casting doubt on the credibility of 'The Telegraph'. It's not my favourite paper, but the interview exists. It hasn't been invented to make poor Hawwy look bad, as he seems to be doing that with great ease all by himself.

cheeseandbreadisthebest · 13/01/2023 19:42

It's either hilarious or it isn't. I think he's shown himself as a nasty piece of work. Not even mildly funny.

It's hilarious

JonahCL9 · 13/01/2023 19:47

Is this from Bryony Gordon's interview with him? I've just seen on her instagram there's a photo of her and PH outside Montecito home (complete with what looks like a Sussex Royal branded doormat which I'd never seen/heard reference to previously 😂)

Cabella · 13/01/2023 19:50

Didn't the publishers refuse the 1st draft, as it was too emotional and whingey?

Vinniepolis · 13/01/2023 19:52

I think his experience with ayahuasca has basically fried his brain, and like Don Quixote he sees himself as some sort of saviour, fighting the evil forces of The Media, who took his mum and Caroline Slack - and nearly Meghan (cos she was crying while breastfeeding a newborn Archie - maybe just a painful latch?)

ShamedBySiri · 13/01/2023 19:53

He admits to picking his nose, and devotes an entire chapter to Meghan's pregnancy problems with details of how he lovingly used to fetch the bag of frozen peas for her piles

WHAAT??? Really???

Well I suppose at least he's sharing the over-sharing around but I'd probably file for divorce if DH publicised details of my piles. Meghan must have found it all too much even for her and given up on the proof reading. 🤷‍♀️

The OP includes a lengthy quote from the interview. They have put inverted commas around it.

DogBowlsAreMyWeapon · 13/01/2023 19:59

“My idea to reform the RF is to open up the big jobs to all of us. Especially me and my wife. Nommos are open and the votes close 7pm Friday”.

Or maybe it’ll be photos of the todger.
