There's enough for another book! Prince Harry says he cut his memoir in HALF and stripped out details about his father and brother - as he claims he has 'long-term' aim to 'fix' the monarchy!

What an arrogant and deluded oaf!

The Duke of Sussex told The Telegraph he chose to leave out several bombshells because he was concerned his father and brother would not 'ever forgive' him.

'The first draft was different. It was 800 pages, and now it's down to 400 pages. It could have been two books, put it that way. And the hard bit was taking things out.

'There are some things that have happened, especially between me and my brother, and to some extent between me and my father, that I just don't want the world to know. Because I don't think they would ever forgive me.'

Harry also revealed his motivation to speak out so publicly against the Firm is to ultimately 'save [his family] from themselves'.

He detailed plans to derail the relationship between the Royal family and the press, expressing his belief that in doing so he can protect future divisions in the family.

After the dust has settled, he expressed a hope that he and Meghan can reconnect with his family - even if they don't particularly like his decision to share 'his truth'.

😂😂😂😂😂

When his dad's friend Jim stopped 'fixing it', he required a successor so here we are! 😂

Also just to refer to his comment about wanting to protect future "spares". How bloody brilliant is Princess Anne, she has been the spare and found a way to thrive in the family. Her commitment to service is incredible.

Unfortunately, Anne has never been the spare. She regularly tops the lists for the most engagements of the Royals and has literally visited a tip as part of her duties.

DogBowlsAreMyWeapon · 13/01/2023 20:21

@bakalava it’s a super spot - my mum used to push me up daily in the pram she must e had quads of steel!

b Gordon is clearly a big-hearted woman but - if you’ve read her books - an absolutely appalling judge of character…

I agree.

He sounds dangerous and deluded.

And how can he dare to pose as the protector of William's children? Let him worry about his own, growing up with no relationship with almost their entire family on both sides.

He cannot be invited to the Coronation. I don't care about 'protocol'. He is a diplomatic and security risk.

I'm going to fuck up their dad so I can protect the kids because I am convinced one of them will be as unhinged as me.

Projecting much? Understanding the harm caused by the drama of the family by being the source of it for the next generation?

Living independently of the Royal Family by cashing in on them?

Alighttouchonthetiller · 13/01/2023 20:25

He's horrible. Really, really unpleasant. I am totally flummoxed by the people who are still singing his praises. This behaviour is not morally right and the grandiose stuff about changing the monarchy to his liking is real psycho territory.

How can people look at this behaviour and continue to defend it?

bakalava · 13/01/2023 20:28

It's the shrooms and special tea talking. 🙄
It's definitely a measure of privilege that we move away from a random wired bloke who randomly approaches us in public spouting nonsense of the same level but Harry (as a prince) gets airtime on major shows and fangirls hanging onto his every word as though he is the second coming.

ShamedBySiri · 13/01/2023 20:29

Sorry, no..that was just me speculating on what's left to put in volume 2!

@BruceAndNosh Grin

It's just impossible to know these days.
It'll probably be details of Kate's piles in book 2. That'll pass the Meghan test.

sydneysunset · 13/01/2023 20:36

What an utter moron that man is. Completely repellant.

And yes, I'd suggest he focuses on his own children rather than William's, who are growing up in a happy, stable family rather than being raised by a couple of mentally unstable, unemployed narcissists.

LadyVictoriaSponge · 13/01/2023 20:37

Blackmail pure and simple, what a vile human being he is.

Put it this way. If I were W&K I'd be doubling those children's security and no, I'm not joking. I genuinely think he's deranged and capable of anything after reading that. The levels of delusion are unbelievable.

I’ve just read this on the Telegraph website and the veiled threat is grim and ominous.
I really think he’s even more dangerous now than before.

The Duke also revealed that he felt “responsibility” to reform the monarchy for the sake of Prince George, nine, Princess Charlotte, seven, and Prince Louis, four. “I know that out of those three children, at least one will end up like me, the spare,” he said. “And that hurts, it worries me.”

He admitted that the notion frustrated Prince William, adding: “He has made it very clear to me that his kids are not my responsibility.”

Regardless, he said he liked to “fix” things and was approaching his mission with “long-term, strategic thinking”.

“This is not about trying to collapse the monarchy – this is about trying to save them from themselves,” he claimed. “I know that I will get crucified by numerous people saying that.”

Bloody hell that's horrific. I wonder if he would tolerate that 'I know what's best for your kids better than you do' attitude if it was William talking about Archie and Lillibet like that. The guy is out of his tree.

AlecTrevelyan006 · 13/01/2023 20:40

I can't work out whether he needs more, or less, therapy.

I haven't bought it - though the vitriol on this site makes it tempting. I don't actually care much about any of them.

But get real. The book is a bloody massive success and has broken publishing records for sales. And you lot are helping it. There's no such thing as bad publicity. If you genuinely want to stop this, stop all the bloody nasty deranged threads. Find something else to talk about.

I’ve always been on the fence with regards to whether this country should have a royal family but fuck me this past week I think I’ve morphed into a cavalier.

It's hateful, deluded revenge.

milti · 13/01/2023 20:42

@Wauden I agree - I have no appetite for any further revelations from him of private information about other people. Dirty

bakalava · 13/01/2023 20:42

the media had “a s--- tonne of dirt about my family, I know they have, and they sweep it under the carpet for juicy stories about someone else”.

Due to his paranoia, his modus operandi seems to be to deliberately release/monetize every embarrassing thing about himself since birth that he can think of so that the RF have nothing to blackmail him with in the future. He is trying to control/frustrate the relationship between the RF and the media by spoiling all of their bargaining chips.

He forgets that the media also have a lot of information about Meghan and her family/past/behaviour which has never come out so it could badly backfire. He thinks that it will help her to keep out of this one but it probably wont.

Tamarindtree · 13/01/2023 20:46

He seems to have spent a lifetime filing away for future reference any kind of perceived grievance or slight.

Princess Margaret died when he was 17 and he mentions she gave him a Biro with a rubber fish around it for Christmas one year - which he saw as 'cold-blooded'!

That to me is just nasty to mention. She was his great Aunt and probably only saw him infrequently.

17 and under and quietly seething at reviving a novelty pen from his great aunt is pathetic.

He is spiteful and petty beyond belief!

Well done Harry

Uncover it all.

It can't go on like this

pilates · 13/01/2023 20:48

None of W & K’s children will end up like H as they are being brought up in a loving well balanced family. His children are the ones he needs to worry about. He is a crazy batshit hamster on a wheel.

Jordosky · 13/01/2023 20:49

I thought the royal family usually give joke gifts to each other anyway as they are so rich. So why is he even mentioning that. And in poor taste, she’s dead.

Jordosky · 13/01/2023 20:50

He really has a problem respecting the boundaries of others 🤷‍♀️

He hasn’t actually uncovered anything apart from petty family grievances. The royal family will be just fine.

quantumbutterfly · 13/01/2023 20:52

I wonder if Harry has considered stand-up comedy as a potential career, he's got us all chuckling away.
