There's enough for another book! Prince Harry says he cut his memoir in HALF and stripped out details about his father and brother - as he claims he has 'long-term' aim to 'fix' the monarchy!

The Duke of Sussex told The Telegraph he chose to leave out several bombshells because he was concerned his father and brother would not 'ever forgive' him.

'The first draft was different. It was 800 pages, and now it's down to 400 pages. It could have been two books, put it that way. And the hard bit was taking things out.

'There are some things that have happened, especially between me and my brother, and to some extent between me and my father, that I just don't want the world to know. Because I don't think they would ever forgive me.'

Harry also revealed his motivation to speak out so publicly against the Firm is to ultimately 'save [his family] from themselves'.

He detailed plans to derail the relationship between the Royal family and the press, expressing his belief that in doing so he can protect future divisions in the family.

After the dust has settled, he expressed a hope that he and Meghan can reconnect with his family - even if they don't particularly like his decision to share 'his truth'.

I haven't bought it - though the vitriol on this site makes it tempting. I don't actually care much about any of them.

But get real. The book is a bloody massive success and has broken publishing records for sales. And you lot are helping it. There's no such thing as bad publicity. If you genuinely want to stop this, stop all the bloody nasty deranged threads. Find something else to talk about.

The book has been successful ( in monetary terms) therefore of course he’s doing part two. Like he cares about the rf - he is a man on a high and loving it. That self-congratulatory message on the Archewell website… it’s egomania on steroids.

I just cannot imagine how betrayed I would feel if one of my siblings took private things that occurred between us in the course of our family life, and published them openly in a book, naming me explicitly, for all the world to read, whether for profit or not.

I feel really sad for William.

Also think yup he’s on a high from all the attention and ego massaging. He’s trying to keep all the new friends interested and sitting on the edge of their seats. Plonker doesn’t realise what this has cost him. You only get one family, and they all have their issues

I am really enjoying it. It’s a great read (or listen, I’m doing the audiobook). Nothing like the salacious, out of context crap that’s been reported.

He admits to picking his nose, and devotes an entire chapter to Meghan's pregnancy problems with details of how he lovingly used to fetch the bag of frozen peas for her piles

He’s tried v hard to character assassinate then but under a veneer of plausible deniability so he can back track (gas light) when it suits. I take it back he isn’t w plonker hes actually v crafty indeed. Even the way he’s tried so hard to make people feel for one of the most privledge people on earth. V manipulative

I really doubt that The Telegraph has any exclusive scoop from Prince Harry this week, given that the whole message of his book is that the UK outrage media are "dangerous".

Just as a reminder, the book describes how this works, albeit with a different tab: “It was just a trick, a way to bait readers into buying the paper or clicking on the story. Once the reader discovered there was nothing there, too late! Ad money was in the purse of The Sun.” In this case, there doesn't even have to be an article or a link to get people off scoring a blether site.

Certainly not saying Prince Harry or his editorial staff are fonts of truth, wisdom, and common sense, but anyone who fumes over his inaccuracies but believes The Telegraph is an idiot or a hypocrite, at best.

His intentions for releasing this are obvious. However the extract around his penis and mother, Freud would have had a field day
