There's enough for another book! Prince Harry says he cut his memoir in HALF and stripped out details about his father and brother - as he claims he has 'long-term' aim to 'fix' the monarchy!

What an arrogant and deluded oaf!

The Duke of Sussex told The Telegraph he chose to leave out several bombshells because he was concerned his father and brother would not 'ever forgive' him.

'The first draft was different. It was 800 pages, and now it's down to 400 pages. It could have been two books, put it that way. And the hard bit was taking things out.

'There are some things that have happened, especially between me and my brother, and to some extent between me and my father, that I just don't want the world to know. Because I don't think they would ever forgive me.'

Harry also revealed his motivation to speak out so publicly against the Firm is to ultimately 'save [his family] from themselves'.

He detailed plans to derail the relationship between the Royal family and the press, expressing his belief that in doing so he can protect future divisions in the family.

After the dust has settled, he expressed a hope that he and Meghan can reconnect with his family - even if they don't particularly like his decision to share 'his truth'.

😂😂😂😂😂

It’s hilariously embarrassing for him how he keeps repeating how he wants to move on but then there is always something else, like a second memoir full of even more ‘shocking’ revelations.
I think if the RF don’t pay him off then he will drop more ‘truths’ just before the coronation.

Good luck to him. They’d be mad to give him anything. Particularly the attention he’s pleading for.

Ironically the rest of them could be as bad!!!

If it wasn't for the palace spin that could possibly be true, and it's why I've got no problem with someone (even Harry) speaking up providing they've got something sensible to say

But he's blown it with the endless inaccuracies and the utter lack of judgement, especially with the way he's brought children and the disabled into it, so if we're ever to find anything out it'll probably need to come from someone more credible and who actually knows what a fact is

I agree. I don't doubt that there are secrets (both State and Royal) that if came out would make our collective hair curl. I also don't doubt that the various Palaces have screwed up numerous times. The problem is, Harry has reduced his credibility as a champion of right and honesty to something less than zero with all the nonsense, innuendo and plain untruths. I also have serious doubts that his own behaviour has always been that of an exemplary injured party, beyond what we already know.

Either he is being very badly advised or more likely is not taking advice. In the sort of fight he's decided to engage in, this is a very bad move.

MonsoonMadness · 14/01/2023 17:59

Who do you think is advising him though? They don’t have advisors . He is taking all his direction from his wife.

They have burned their way through all the best people available for hire. Their controversies ruled out most of the good people. They were too impatient to wait for each PR cycle to complete and flounced at the first signs of difficulty when they should have taken a longer term view. Their access to other celebrities and quality advisors has really diminished as time has gone on. That is not the sign of them being "rockstars" even if they are eager to quote PM on it. Maybe one hit wonders?

Blossomtoes · 14/01/2023 18:08

I hope they have no knowledge of state secrets, instinct tells me any of those would be kept well away from them. I honestly think if they keep on like this there will be a visit from MI6 and Harry will be told to put a lid on it.

Agreed, there comes a point (pissing off the Taliban) where Harry’s ‘truth’ affects state security, none of this is going unnoticed by the real power in this country.

CPL593H · 14/01/2023 19:06

Don't get me wrong, I don't think Harry knows any State secrets, quite possibly some Royal ones. As far as advice goes, for most of his life he had official Palace advisors around him. At one time he had PR, but that seems to be dubious now. I agree that he has probably made himself far too much of a hot potato for anyone reputable who wants a proper long term working relationship.

Perhaps it is just Harry and Meghan doing it all themselves, without real external input. I'm inclined to think so.

Ridemeginger · 14/01/2023 20:02

Apparently Harry says at the end of the book, " And to you, the reader: thank you for wanting to know my story in my words. I'm so grateful to be able to share it thus far."

That "thus far" sounds ominously like there is more to come.
