There's enough for another book! Prince Harry says he cut his memoir in HALF and stripped out details about his father and brother - as he claims he has 'long-term' aim to 'fix' the monarchy!

What an arrogant and deluded oaf!

The Duke of Sussex told The Telegraph he chose to leave out several bombshells because he was concerned his father and brother would not 'ever forgive' him.

'The first draft was different. It was 800 pages, and now it's down to 400 pages. It could have been two books, put it that way. And the hard bit was taking things out.

'There are some things that have happened, especially between me and my brother, and to some extent between me and my father, that I just don't want the world to know. Because I don't think they would ever forgive me.'

Harry also revealed his motivation to speak out so publicly against the Firm is to ultimately 'save [his family] from themselves'.

He detailed plans to derail the relationship between the Royal family and the press, expressing his belief that in doing so he can protect future divisions in the family.

After the dust has settled, he expressed a hope that he and Meghan can reconnect with his family - even if they don't particularly like his decision to share 'his truth'.

😂😂😂😂😂

That was meant to be on the meme thread!

I just knew that when he said he supported the monarchy, it was all about setting up his own version of it. A people's monarchy 'inspired by my mother' with H &M the non-king and non-queen at the top, rewarding others for service

I’d support that, if it wasn’t funded by public money.

Loveatortie · 13/01/2023 20:02

Just no,I've been trying to get that out off head 😝

That's what they wanted from 'half in half out'. Their own 'royal court' in California, while getting to keep the 'sexy' bits of royal life back in Blighty.

Wauden · 13/01/2023 20:03

I bet that the reference to Elizabeth Arden was so that M gets free stuff from them.
When she was in the UK after marriage to H she was given free stuff but was expected to return it so as not to compromise her position.

bakalava · 13/01/2023 20:04

He'd be bringing the Tower of London back into use for the chop, starting with K&W and C&C. Piers, Clarkson, Knauf and Wooton would be live broadcast events.
I remember being told be a Beefeater recently that there was an illegitimate Spencer held in the Tower but I cannot recall their name.

Mumskisail · 13/01/2023 20:05

How nasty and vile! A thinly veiled threat to his family. Absolutely shocking behaviour

queenofarles · 13/01/2023 20:05

Oh god he’s starting to rival Proust’s À la recherche du temps perdu.

He admits to picking his nose, and devotes an entire chapter to Meghan's pregnancy problems with details of how he lovingly used to fetch the bag of frozen peas for her piles

WHAAT??? Really???

Well I suppose at least he's sharing the over-sharing around but I'd probably file for divorce if DH publicised details of my piles. Meghan must have found it all too much even for her and given up on the proof reading. 🤷‍♀️

Sorry, no..that was just me speculating on what's left to put in volume 2!

I’ve just read this on the Telegraph website and the veiled threat is grim and ominous.
I really think he’s even more dangerous now than before.

The Duke also revealed that he felt “responsibility” to reform the monarchy for the sake of Prince George, nine, Princess Charlotte, seven, and Prince Louis, four. “I know that out of those three children, at least one will end up like me, the spare,” he said. “And that hurts, it worries me.”

He admitted that the notion frustrated Prince William, adding: “He has made it very clear to me that his kids are not my responsibility.”

Regardless, he said he liked to “fix” things and was approaching his mission with “long-term, strategic thinking”.

“This is not about trying to collapse the monarchy – this is about trying to save them from themselves,” he claimed. “I know that I will get crucified by numerous people saying that.”

What a vindictive evil person he is.

I agree. It was meant to work like "Birnham Wood comes to Dunsinane" using private jets instead of branches.

He is a fool of a man. So much better in the RF to be a younger sibling rather than the first born. All the perks with fewer responsibilities.
Harry has been able to lark around in a way that would have been totally unacceptable for William. He has had a fortune in the bank, a house, people to do whatever he needed. All without the huge pressure of being the future King. What a spiteful, petty and jealous little man he has become.

HappinesDependsOnYou · 13/01/2023 20:09

Could have sworn he said him and Meg were ready to move on in their Netflix documentary but clearly not as he has nominated himself saviour of the monarchy. I used to think he was the best of the bunch now I just wish he would disappear. Its painful to watch him embarrassed himself so much

derxa · 13/01/2023 20:09

He's even worse than I thought.

Shampern · 13/01/2023 20:10

Harry, just shut up!

If I were William, he would be coming nowhere near my children.

Worry about your own kids Harry, stop focusing on the drugs and your brother, and focus on them.

britsabroad · 13/01/2023 20:12

God whatever next? His first wet dream?
No idea why anyone would pay to read this drivel. I think everyone has well truly felt H&M fatigue this week, I know I have. Harry's problem is that he wants to have his Royal Cake and eat it. He won't give up their titles - what a hypocrite. His problem with hereditary privilege is that he wanted more. Greedy, distuebed, delusional, self indulgent wet lettuce. Thank god they're not coming back to the UK. No pity party here for that pair.

DogBowlsAreMyWeapon · 13/01/2023 20:13

@bakalava Aaah Dunsinane - one of my favourite places. I used to walk to the top during the first lockdown and eat my sandwiches whilst plotting downfalls etc.

britsabroad · 13/01/2023 20:14

Also just to refer to his comment about wanting to protect future "spares". How bloody brilliant is Princess Anne, she has been the spare and found a way to thrive in the family. Her commitment to service is incredible.

HoppingAndHoping · 13/01/2023 20:17

*I will bertay your trust and publically humiliate you. BUT IT'S FOR YOUR OWN GOOD!"

That sounds genuinely toxic. It's the same countless abusers have said...

ChicCroissant · 13/01/2023 20:19

Not that I think the monarchy is broken and/or needs fixing, but he's never fixed anything in his life and he'd be the last person you'd ask! Also, the spare is Charlotte who could, quite frankly, wipe the floor with Harry as she seems pretty spirited (in a good way).

I'm saying OP should post a link to the interview or whatever the relevant content is rather than expecting people to fish around. And maybe a share token too, as this content seems to be paywalled.

It's an interview with Bryony Gordon. Non payroll.
