To give but a few examples, the Daily Mail, Express, Sun and all the other Murdoch outlets... not to mention all the sycophant 'journalists' on TV and fake biographers...day after day after day...

Enough. The other side at last. If Harry did an interview every day for the rest of his life he wouldn't be able to compete.

The other side at last. Sick to the teeth of the William Kate agenda.

Listing the names of publications is not really citing examples, though.

CPL593H · 07/01/2023 21:12

From a quick Google, it seems the Royal men are always "supporters" at their brothers weddings. As has been said, Harry got the public official role, but why wouldn't William want his best mates to take part too?

The more I read, the more I think Harry actually hates William and has for a while, nothing to do with Meghan really. It is all incredibly sad and far from what we believed to be the truth, but we only have one side of it.

Is this a lizard thing? Does this agenda you believe in about involve resets or similar??

Is that you Mehan?

Itsnottime · 07/01/2023 21:13

He’s really scratching around to find things to be offended about now.

Aspiringmatriarch · 07/01/2023 21:13

I think it would be best to wait and read the book tbh. Taliban revelations aside, which I do think was incredibly foolish, it seems a bit premature to judge things without knowing the real context and tone, in the original and as part of a whole.

toomuchlaundry · 07/01/2023 21:14

Don't remember William talking about his willy, why do I have to read about Harry's.

HaroldsCougar · 07/01/2023 21:15

ItWasDobbinAtTheMareAndSpare · 07/01/2023 21:04

This whole thing (all of the stuff about W and H’s relationship) reminds me of The Script that gets used in (usually romantic) relationship breakups by men. The rewriting of past history to make it look like everything was bad and wrong, all the time, versus the reality, which was probably always somewhere in between. Then used as the catalyst and justification for a rift. Sadly I think time out and apart would probably have been a good thing for their future relationship, but now it’s so huge it seems impossible.

Hadn't thought about it in those terms

I think you may be on to something

Happyher · 07/01/2023 21:16

I think it’s just Harry trying to gas light us into believing his ‘truths’ about how awful his nasty big brother is to him

I’m not sure there’s any context that means the penis revelations are necessary, nor the loss of his virginity.

Yes, his relationship with William is not a normal brotherly one due to the Royal Family aspect, and I think there’s aspects of perceived morality involved when wanting to leave (how could you do that to your brother, the queen, the country blah blah), that’s somewhat married man like, and to be able to leave that he had to make them worse than him in order to not feel crushing guilt, giving himself the permission. And the way to do that - make them terrible, the past was awful, it was never good, etc etc

I respect him for leaving but the manner in which it’s happened is regrettable.

00100001 · 07/01/2023 21:20

It's all just comes across a bit petulant.

Even if it's true, and he wasn't actually best man, and it was a a charade to make William look good and make out they are best buddies etc.

it just comes across as childish.
"Well, it wasn't really a birthday cake, because because..because there were only 5 candles on there, and I was actually 7! And and and it had yellow stats in and I actually wanted blue balloons"

Butchyrestingface · 07/01/2023 21:24

You have to hand it to Harry - he's sure taking the heat off Meghan with this book. Grin

Tres chivalrous.

ChardonnaysBeastlyCat · 07/01/2023 21:25

Ah! But did William even marry the day of his wedding? Maybe he married a few days perviously in his back garden and the wedding was just for show, so Happy was not, in fact, his beast man?

Who knows!

Fair enough. I'm going to read it and make up my mind about it all then 🙂. I do think Harry lacks a filter and certain things could have been omitted but will wait to see how it comes across as a whole.

ItWasDobbinAtTheMareAndSpare · 07/01/2023 21:25

I also don’t think what W apparently did with the physical attack is ok, aside from the amusement in how it was written, and I never think violence is ok - but I wonder - did Harry want William to behave in the worst way possible? I don’t mean to victim blame but sometimes I think, when you’re looking for an excuse, you sometimes hope for just a second that they might actually do the unforgivable thing, so you can leave for that reason, not just because you fancied a life overseas.

And now… it’s like he wants William to respond. Coming out with all of this to no response from his family while seemingly everyone else in the world has an opinion must be hard to deal with.

ChardonnaysBeastlyCat · 07/01/2023 21:25

Harry and best man! Sorry!

To coin a MN phrase he is being a goady f**ker!

It’s sounds more like Harry is spouting absolute shite

Which seems to be par for the course with him these days.

I'm starting to find Harry's behaviour genuinely disturbing. However, the few who for whatever reason are still defending him are comedy gold at this point.

I can only assume they're as deluded as he is.

Harry doesn't have enough penis stories to do interviews every day for the rest of his life.

Well the Taliban revelations alone point me to an opinion about whatever else he said in this book - I am not putting "aside" the fact that he thought of of the 25 people he killed as chess pieces.
Not to mention how it complete cancels whatever claims and demands he had about his Daddy or the British government continuities to pay for his security costs.

He should get a job at the Montecito local Starbucks which would be quite an honest job to take, and take it from there.
