He is saying that he was not called Best Man by William, that title went to his best friends. And his best friends did the Best Man's speech with Harry doing an introduction.

Other people gave speeches as well you know.

I thought at the time it was reported that Harry would be acting as “sponsor” for William in line with royal tradition, rather than “best man” - maybe I’m making that up. If that’s the case (or even if it isn’t actually), this really isn’t anything scandalous he’s unveiling. A few people did speeches but he carried out the main duties at the abbey. Just feels like he’s slinging as much mud as possible on any little thing now.

Maybe Harry is going to claim William and Kate had another wedding, just like he and Meghan had and he wasn't best man at that!! Although that obviously wasn't a wedding

For all intents and purposes Harry WAS the Best man - we all saw it live. Speeches are the tail end, the important stuff is at the Altar surely?

The wall and my head are going to be meeting up again sharpish, frequently and imminently at this rate.

Maybe Harry meant that Wills two best friends helped Wills plan the wedding more, and Harry just turned up on the day and did his bit.(don’t know if this true).
