Maybe he’ll stop hiding behind his mummy now…

I imagine all the nonsense about not accepting the serving was simply to buy his lawyers as much time as possible. It was never going to go quietly away.

Reduceddutiesboredom · 25/09/2021 11:39

@ArblemarchTFruitbat
Probably true.
Pathetic behaviour hiding away from being served papers tho.

She will be paid off by one of the richest women in the world, or will have an 'accident' pretty soon.

Reduceddutiesboredom · 25/09/2021 11:54

@Derrymum123
I’ve read in a few places that she had already rejected an out of court settlement.

My money would be on an accident or maybe covid. Hmm anything to protect the royals.

Ooooh, is this like "Mao Zedong thought" because I'd love to read the "Prince Andrew thought" version.

amusedtodeath1 · 25/09/2021 12:06

It's about time. All this fannying about just makes it more obvious that he's hiding something. Maybe he didn't know she was trafficked but my guess is he "knew" her and that still makes him sleezy AF.

I love how Fergie is suddenly the "wife" again, like we don't know that it suits them to have us think of him as a "family" man. They think we're stupid.

It's very damaging to the Queen. She must be in despair with everything that's going on with her family.

IsabelBeck · 25/09/2021 12:10

I've no idea if he's innocent or not. I strongly believe any innocent man with integrity would want to clear his name if accused of anything so heinous. So ..

feellikeanalien · 25/09/2021 15:35

I've just finished watching a Netflix documentary series on Jeffrey Epstein. If even half of it is true he was a horrific person.

Virginia Giuffre came over to me as credible and another witness ( some tech guy who worked for Epstein) confirmed that he had seen PA with her on Epstein's island.

Even if what she is saying is untrue (and I don't believe it is) the fact that PA continued a friendship with a convicted sex offender and declared publicly in a TV interview that he had no regrets about it speaks volumes about the type of man he is.

It took some of Epstein's victims more than 10 years even to be heard in court and that was only after he died.

The whole thing stinks and there are obviously many more well known people involved. I don't believe the whole story will ever come out. Too many powerful people have too much to lose.

It will be interesting to see what happens when Ghislaine Maxwell eventually comes to trial (if that ever happens!)

Maybe PA will be sacrificed to protect others.

LukeEvansWife · 25/09/2021 15:36

The Queen, Princes Charles and William will throw him under the bus. The institution is more than the people m

PurpleOkapi · 25/09/2021 16:59

I think he probably slept with her, but I don't necessarily think he's lying about it. I think he's probably slept with so many women over the course of his life that he honestly doesn't remember all of them. Being famous, and especially being royalty, will get someone unlimited one-night stands if they're so inclined. I also don't particularly care, because I think 17 is plenty old enough to decide whether you want to have sex with someone. Nothing in VG's own version of events indicates that Andrew himself did anything to force her or had any reason to know that she (supposedly) didn't really want to do it.

Roussette · 25/09/2021 18:29

No.
17 is not 'old enough' if you're trafficked.

It doesn't matter if it's in NY, London or wherever, in the eyes of the law she was a minor.

And saying she wasn't 'forced' is crass. There are many levels of coercion, grooming and bribery of a vulnerable young girl.

She was trafficked.

You might not care. I do

Maybe we need to talk about the Paris connection where PA was seen regularly at JEs home.

French police say two 12 year old girls are part of that.

Innovationstandard · 25/09/2021 18:32

12?

Roussette · 25/09/2021 18:37

Yes.

Do you need a link?

I have something incorrect.
There were three 12 year olds.

upinaballoon · 25/09/2021 20:05

I had read in a newspaper report that her father drove her to Epstein's house the first time but I believe he took her over more times and now regrets it. I am wondering whether that makes VRG a victim of her father, as well, to some extent, or whether it means that her father was another victim of JE.

Reduceddutiesboredom · 25/09/2021 20:19

I suggest that you do some reading on the topic of sexual abuse and grooming before you make such bold statements like that. I care. I care a great deal that a member of the Royal Family has been implicated in the abuse of a groomed child. This isn’t some ‘lad’ who’s out having one night stands with consenting young women. This is a man of power and privilege abusing a vulnerable girl. The difference is obvious, hence why he must face appropriate criminal proceedings
amusedtodeath1 · 25/09/2021 21:23

Let's face it he knew there were lots of young girls hanging around and he didn't think to immediately distance himself from that. That in itself gives me the ick!

I don't think you can blame a trafficked person for not saying no. It's no different from grooming in that regard. These girls are manipulated and used and made to feel grateful for the opportunity. Makes me Envy. (not envy)

julieca · 01/10/2021 18:28

Any decent middle-aged man, in going to a party full of middle-aged men and very young girls and women, would realise something dodgy is happening and leave.
This has been going on for a long time amongst some rich men.
And anyone friends with Epstein must have known the kind of attitudes he had to women and his values. If you still wanted to be friends with him, I doubt you have a decent sense of morality.

Roussette · 01/10/2021 21:50

Totally agree @julieaca

His NY mansion was full of models of unclothed women, a montage of life sized tits, loads of them, and an entrace hall with a human chessboard with women in erotic poses again life sized.

But PA didn't know...yeah right... got you... as if

According to newspaper reports today the Queen is paying his legal bills which are expected to run into millions.

I hope she spends all her money. And then loses.

What a time to be a republican!

It’s reportedly her own private income from the Duchy of Lancaster.

Which amounts to about £20m per year
