I honestly don't know what to think any more. These 'Five Friends' and Meghan - are they really going to have to give evidence in court?

The news of the book's publication reminds me of Kenneth Branagh publishing his autobiography at age 28. He cheerfully admitted in the introduction that he had done so to raise money for his theatre company. I'd think a lot more of the Sussexes if they were similarly upfront for their motives in putting something out now when, to be honest, they've not exactly achieved anything together yet. And maybe it won't be as gushing as the blurb suggests. Somehow, however, I doubt it.

Will the Famous Five out themselves? Did they or did they not have MM's permission to speak to to People magazine? Is MM one of them?!

Frankly it's the plot of a thriller that'll massively outsell their upcoming biography.

They have made themselves utterly ridiculous. Harry must surely realise this and by shuddering with embarrassment, even if Meghan doesn't get it yet.

It's not an autobiography, so presumably it's the authors and the publishers who will share any profits, not HaM.

Yes that's true, the was meant to raise the profile and it will but not in the way they hoped it would.

Yes. My reasoning for saying, as I did on the last thread, that I will buy the book (aside from my curiosity to know all about these humanitarian achievements ) is that I see it as supporting the publishing industry and the people who will be working with the Sussexes to capture the essence of their path to freedom . Think of it as subsidising the publication of other, better books..

I thought the book was already up on Amazon. Or is it pre-order only?

I think it comes out in the Latesummer.

I wonder how much they will make on this (and if it’s worth it because I’m sure bridges will have been burned/nuked).

However as one of the Famous Five was a dog, that would probably be very wrong

@Lordfrontpaw I doubt they'll make enough to enable the new expensive life they want. Doing this seems more about making a point and presenting themselves as heroic humanitarian types.
